I am on hold with a blank line after a customer service rep of Ryobi asked me to hold to get a manager. She was named Karen in SC C*S. *Now it went to fast busy. *Why did I ask for a manager?*I have a Ryobi **vt rechargeable leaf blower edger combo. It has dropped to less than *** power. I drove cheerfully to the HOME DEPOT over ** miles away with the unit for what used to be a HD fix that was quick and easy. According to Home Depot Ryobi now ties their hands after ** day HD return policy.*At HD customer service with my broken Ryobi in hand, (it is Christmas time), I get to the CS dept and am told they cannot help me after ** days and To call Ryobi. I CAN ONLY HOPE RYOBI RECORDS CALLS. Today is ******* and I called Ryobi about ** minutes ago. Karen was the rep. I explained my situation and she said I needed to go to a Home Depot rental center for service. Please keep in mind, as I told her the unit is less than * months old. Then as I explain how I already went to HD- she told me that “yes, HD needs to let their CS people know this!”. I asked for an alternative and she took my zip code and said that “oh, the HD rental cars by me ONLY work on gas powered units! What if I did not ask for an alternative ? She types and tells me there is a nearest service center ** miles. Away! I have around nine Ryobi products, if this unit was over $*** I really understand but it is *** of a $***. Product. At that point I became upset, asked for a manager and her name, she refused then told me to hold and you can start at the top.*My e-mail is *****@***.com*I am really surprised at Home Depot AND Ryobi who both are willing to take a happy customer, let him hang and drift away in these experiences for such a small thing? Do you think that is right? This is now into hour * for me to deal with this.*My phone number is ***********I hope you know how to “fix” this situation as you ask abive.
