I bought a Ryobi rechargeable circular saw less than a year ago at a Home Depot in Oakland, CA. They advised me to reach out to your office to request a replacement. The only number I could find that might be a serial number is cs14331n260085. I hope this number helps you verify the additional protection plan I purchased when I originally bought it at Home Depot. I also would like to register the product if it wasn't already registered. Thank you.

I bought the Model # RY253SS trimmer from Home Depot along with a 5-year warranty on 5/28/[redacted]. In 11/27/[redacted], after 6 months, I had to get the shaft repaired at a shop in Fletcher, NC. Now, the shaft has split again as the season begins but the repair shop I used to go to is closed. I had to take it back to Home Depot, and they say it will take at least 6 weeks because 3 parts are on back order. It's frustrating as I can't work on my yard in the summer. I followed all the procedures, had a warranty, and yet I have to wait for back-ordered parts instead of getting a replacement for this faulty product. I am disappointed with the service. The trimmer is only a year old, and this is the second time I am facing the same issue. I urge for a replacement under my full warranty. Thank you, Roseanne B.

We recently purchased a Ryobi lawnmower which turned out to be a disappointment. Despite attempts to fix it, the issue persists with the height adjustment and the speed settings. We are seeking advice on what steps to take next, whether to return it for a refund or dispose of it. We would appreciate any guidance on this matter. - Michael and Judy Christian

My wife and I purchased a Ryobi 40V 20" Cordless lawnmower online on June 25, [redacted]. We spent over $[redacted] on the lawnmower, a $60 protection plan, a charger, and 2 batteries. Unfortunately, I have been facing issues with the height adjustment; even on the highest setting, the grass remains at 1 1/4". I have sought assistance from two Ryobi service centers, but the problem persists. Additionally, the power push operation only works at maximum speed, making it hard for me to keep up. I am 78 years old and feeling overwhelmed by this situation. I have tried contacting Patrick McCurdy at Ryobi Media Services with no luck. I am unsure of what to do next; any guidance or options for a refund would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Michael C.

Hello Ryobi Customer Service, I purchased a Ryobi 10-inch table saw (BT3100-1) approximately 15 years ago, and I was quite satisfied with its lightweight, accuracy, and portability. Recently, while cutting cedar, the drive belts failed after years of trouble-free operation. This led me to purchase V Belt #81 from a parts supplier, costing over $[redacted]. I installed them successfully, but unfortunately, they broke after just two weeks of use. I am now faced with the decision of whether to spend another $[redacted] on a new set of belts for a saw I originally bought for around $[redacted]. Despite its age, the saw is in good condition, and I am reluctant to part with it. My friend, Pady Daly in West Vancouver, received assistance from Ryobi with a similar issue on the same model of saw. I am hoping you can provide some guidance or a solution for my situation. Thank you, D.S.

I purchased a lawnmower with a P102 battery in Sept [redacted]. Last year, it wouldn't stay running, so I used it with a cord. This spring, I bought 2 P107 batteries. When I use both, the mower stops right away. With one, it runs for 15 minutes, but with the other, it shuts off. I took it for warranty service but had no issues, only for it to fail again at home. As I've moved to a yard where corded mowing is challenging, I'm eager to exchange it for a new mower. Your assistance is appreciated.

I am a Ryobi products user and wanted to share my disappointment with the Ryobi detail sander Ds1200. While the power is satisfactory, the sanding triangle paper does not stay on. The adhesive detaches from the pad after approximately 3 minutes of use, regardless of the sandpaper brand used. This issue with the pad not holding the adhesive needs to be addressed. I have decided to return it to Home Depot as it is not functional. There are multiple similar complaints on the Home Depot website, with 90% of bad reviews mentioning the sandpaper not sticking to the pad. I urge Ryobi to take action on this matter as many customers, like myself, are facing this problem. Best regards, Terry R. Tuley from Chattanooga, TN.

I was on hold with Ryobi's customer service when a representative named Karen from South Carolina asked me to hold for a manager. However, the call was abruptly disconnected with a fast busy tone. I requested a manager because my Ryobi 40-volt rechargeable leaf blower and edger combo has significantly decreased in power. After traveling over 20 miles to my local Home Depot, I was informed that they could not assist me due to Ryobi's policy after the 90-day return period. Despite explaining my situation to Karen at Ryobi, she directed me to a Home Depot rental center for service, even though my machine is less than 9 months old. Frustratingly, the rental center near me only services gas-powered units. Karen suggested a service center 27 miles away, which seemed excessive for a product valued at half of $[redacted]. After requesting a manager's name, Karen reluctantly asked me to hold and the call was disconnected. I am disheartened by both Home Depot and Ryobi's lack of support for a minor issue, leaving a loyal customer feeling neglected. The entire ordeal has spanned over three hours, and I am hopeful for a resolution to this situation.

I have encountered multiple issues with the RYOBI BP-42 Backpack Blower. This machine is by far one of the worst products Ryobi has ever released. Despite being a loyal customer, I am disappointed with my purchase. Even an old blower found in a farmer's backyard would outperform this BP-42 model. Numerous negative reviews have echoed my sentiments. I believe Ryobi is risking its good reputation by selling such low-quality equipment. Many buyers, including myself, are deterred from future Ryobi purchases. I suggest Ryobi rectify this situation by offering refunds or coupons to those who own the BP-42 Blower. Customers like me bought this blower with trust in Ryobi's brand, only to be let down. As a company, Ryobi needs to take responsibility for this flawed product and compensate its customers. I urge Ryobi to address these concerns promptly to maintain its positive image. - Fletch in Jax., Fl.

I recently ordered the Ryobi 21-inch 40-volt Brushless Lithium-Ion Cordless Smart Trek self-propelled walk-behind mower with a 6.0Ah battery and charger from Home Depot. However, upon receiving the item, I noticed it arrived in a generic cardboard box with vague labels and missing the owner's manual. This has caused confusion and difficulty in assembling and operating the mower, even after watching online videos. Unlike my previous Ryobi purchases, this one did not come in a branded box as shown in the online video. To address this issue, I am in need of an owner's manual to ensure I have all the necessary components and have assembled them correctly. Alternatively, I am open to a technician assisting me via FaceTime to troubleshoot and determine if the mower is operational. I am disappointed by this experience, especially since I urgently need to mow my lawn and cannot use the mower I purchased on 4/11.

I own multiple Ryobi power tools and bought a 40V Ryobi chainsaw last year from Home Depot in Auburn, MA. After using it once, I had issues with recharging. Home Depot replaced the saw. The replacement worked well until I stored it for winter, finding the battery dead this year despite charging attempts showing no improvement. I have experience with other tool batteries and never faced such issues. Though out of warranty, I seek advice on the defective battery and charger. I'm open to evaluations and need a quick resolution to continue using the chainsaw effectively. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Bruce F. from Millbury, MA.

Hello, I am Michael S. Last Christmas, my in-laws gifted me the Ryobi One+ kit, which includes various cordless tools. I recently tried to attach a blade to the circular saw for the first time but encountered an issue with the bolt not aligning or tightening properly. I even tried using a different bolt, but it didn't work either. I haven't been able to use the saw at all. I would appreciate a replacement for this defective tool. Please advise if I need to provide more information or speak with someone directly. Thank you.

I recently bought a twin pack of P108 batteries with a 3-year warranty, but unfortunately, one of the batteries has never worked or charged up. When I tested it with my multimeter, it only showed 0.01 volts. I reached out in December as advised, bringing the tool, charger, and faulty battery to connect with Warranty. However, after enduring 48 minutes of poor music on hold, I gave up. I am frustrated with the battery issues and disappointed with the lackluster customer service experience. I purchased a Ryobi 40-amp Cordless Vacuum cleaner from The Home Depot in September [redacted]. It was working well until the summer of [redacted] when it started shutting down during use, making mowing my lawn extremely frustrating. Now, it's experiencing the same issue, and I need to find a place to have it repaired. My lawn is small, around [redacted] square feet in the front and [redacted] square feet in the backyard. The battery is in good condition, so it seems to be a problem with the mower itself. I have other Ryobi cordless tools like trimmers, blowers, car vacuums, and drills that work fine. I wouldn't recommend this mower to others based on my experience.

I am experiencing an issue with my Ryobi 16-inch 40-Volt lawnmower battery. I purchased it on 3/05/16 and have been happy with it. Last night, I tried charging the battery, leaving it in the charger for 45 minutes, but it did not work. I have been on hold over 20 minutes three times today, and the stress is getting to me. Dealing with the loss of my son makes things even more challenging. Could I please request a warranty replacement battery to be shipped to me in Boise, Idaho? I would appreciate any customer service assistance you can provide in this matter. Thank you.

On May 29, [redacted], I bought a Ryobi 40V Trimmer/Blower Combo and a 40V chainsaw/battery, along with protection plans for each. I have found the tools to be reliable, but the batteries and chargers failed prematurely, with minimal use. I have a chat transcript from 1/9/18 discussing the batteries/chargers within the two-year window. Unfortunately, it seems the batteries were not covered, and I was not informed that they needed separate registration. Currently, the tools are not functional. I am considering purchasing DeWalt or other cordless tools due to their strong battery performance. My son's DeWalt batteries have been charging well for over a decade. I would like assurance that Ryobi batteries now have better longevity, and I would appreciate a discount on replacements. Best regards, A. Lev

I attempted to contact RYOBY today, July 5, [redacted], but received a closed holiday message despite the holiday being yesterday. My RYOBI 40V string trimmer encountered an issue on its first use - the front panel came off as the wingnut and bolt loosened during yard work. The small size of these parts makes it difficult to locate them even with a rake. Today is a business day, but the closure message indicated it was in observance of July 4th, not today. I was left unable to continue trimming my front yard as the bolts fell out, leaving the shielding in the grass. It's frustrating not being able to reach you to address this issue promptly.

I purchased a Brad Nailer brand new in June [redacted] from Bunnings Brendale in Queensland. It has had minimal use for fixing the occasional paling. However, over the weekend, I encountered some issues with it. The unit appeared to work normally, but the nails were not firing. After checking for blockages and verifying the nails, I noticed the lights were flashing slowly, and then the unit stopped working entirely despite a fully charged battery. Although just out of warranty, due to the low usage, I expected it to last longer trouble-free. Bunnings suggested contacting the manufacturer, Ryobi, as advised on their website. Could you please provide guidance on the next steps to resolve this issue?

I purchased Product RVC-[redacted]-G at Homebase in Liffey Valley, Dublin, on 13/07/19. While marketed as a sturdy vacuum for workshop use, it has disappointed me with its poor suction power, similar to that of a cheaper household vacuum. I had considered buying a Karcher but was convinced by the salesman that your product was superior. Sadly, it does not meet my expectations, especially considering my existing back pain, which I hoped it could alleviate. Sadly, it has only caused me more pain during use. Despite its appealing appearance, the performance lacks substance. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this product and would like to return it for a refund. Given that I have already used it, I understand I cannot return it directly to the store.

I own a Ryobi 20-inch 40 Volt Lawn Mower. While I was using it, the guard broke off and flew out from the back of the mower. I reached out to customer support and spoke to Lacey Sanders. Despite providing my model number and serial number ([redacted]04, EU17440N010107/RY40109), the guard she sent does not fit my [redacted] model mower. Lacey mentioned that my numbers are linked to a [redacted] model, but I specifically bought a [redacted] model in September of that year. The absence of the guard poses a safety hazard, and I need this issue resolved promptly to prevent any accidents.
