Dear sirs,**The Weekend **th to **th December my son treated myself and my husband to a visit to Germany to see him in Frankfurt where he now lives.**The flight there was fine and everything went according to plan.**On the way back we arrived at the airport with plenty of time as we are aged ** &** we know we can not get about as quick as we would like. On arriving we checked the boards and everything was ok. We went to book our cases in and were told we would now be boarding at gate E*. We took your employee at his word and proceeded to gate E* we were over an hour at security by the time we got through we got to gate E* and it was empty but for one other man who was also told to go to E*, we eventually found a gentleman who looked our flight up on the computer to be told it was leaving from gate D** across the other side of the airport. We eventually got there to be told we were to late and our luggage was being taken off the aircraft along with that of another ** people some of whom were also told the wrong gate. We had to book another flight the earliest one we could get was the next morning at a cost of €*** so this break that was completely financed by our son and should have cost us nothing cost *€*** Flight*€*** cab to my sons and back.*£** to extend airport parking.**I feel as though I have been robbed as if we were going to have this expense we would have preferred to put it towards another visit later in the year.**The next day the employee at the desk again put our gate number on our luggage ticket but this time the correct one which we did check on the board as we now felt we couldn’t trust your staff.**I have both luggage tickets still, but I would like to suggest that your staff no longer write on the luggage ticket as it could misguide people like myself. Also I would hope to at least be refunded the flight money as I feel your staff gave us the wrong information.
