Good morning. I have a flight reservation for a trip from Port to Dublin on July 23 under booking code Q531XH. Unfortunately, my husband was recently admitted to Coimbra Hospital on July 21, and we are unsure when he will be discharged. Due to this unforeseen circumstance, we need to postpone our return flight to Dublin, but the exact date is uncertain as it depends on his recovery progress. The hospital's administrative office is only open on weekdays, which complicates getting a necessary document for our trip. I would like to inquire if a statement from the attending weekend doctor would suffice as justification for changing our flight without incurring cancellation or modification fees. My husband suffers from ulcerative colitis, leading to an abscess in his lower intestine that requires treatment. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I made a reservation for a trip from Bordeaux, France to Stansted, UK on July 13 for myself, two daughters, and an adult friend along with her daughter. The reservation number is PVII3J. I opted for the Family Plus package. While entering all the passengers' information correctly, the website mistakenly categorized my 14-year-old daughter and myself as adults, and my friend as a child. This error prevented me from checking in online. Consequently, at the airport, I was charged for both airport check-in and boarding pass printing. I am seeking a refund for these fees, as the mistake was on the website's end.

Booking Ref: P3Y1YQ I recently discovered an error in the booking. Danna's second last name needs to be corrected. Danna is known as DANNA SECO MATEU, and the booking was mistakenly made with her father's last name instead of her own. We are hoping to rectify this without incurring a penalty. Danna, who is ten years old, will be traveling with me, her aunt, under the booking J61IRH. We have been advised at Girona's airport that our reservations should be connected since she is a minor traveling with me. Danna's reservation is under [redacted], and mine is under [redacted] Your assistance in resolving this matter before our flight from Girona to Cagliari tomorrow morning is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your prompt response. Thank you and have a great day. Sonia

As residents of Ibiza with NIE numbers, my spouse and I are entitled to the 50% Resident Discount on flights within Spain. We have frequently used this discount for our trips from Ibiza to Barcelona, connecting to London Stansted. Recently, the residents of the Balearic Islands saw an increase in the discount to 75%. I made a booking for two round-trip flights from Ibiza to Barcelona, paying 66.37 euros. I received an email confirmation with Reservation number K7888B. However, I was unexpectedly charged [redacted].22 euros on an invoice I received last week, and my VIZA Debit card was declined today. This situation has left me feeling perplexed and frustrated. I urgently need clarification and confirmation of my flights under Reservation number K7888B, as they are crucial for our upcoming journey to connect to our Barcelona to Stansted flights under Reservation number DZPQUW.

Hello, I made a booking with lastminute.com for a holiday package to Dublin for August 18th to August 20th. Due to booking while tired, I thought it was for Friday to Monday. I tried to change the flight on their website, but they want to charge me an additional £[redacted], which I'm not willing to pay. I checked your website and found a Thursday 10 pm one-way flight for £78.81 for both myself and my partner. Could you help change my flight from Saturday to that Thursday evening flight? If not, can I book the new flights one way, skip the Saturday flight, and still use the return flight on Monday? This trip was meant to be a special surprise for my partner's birthday, but I've ended up spending £[redacted] for just a day in Dublin. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you, V.L.

Subject: Compensation Request for Cancelled Flight [redacted] on 01/07/18 Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address the cancellation of flight [redacted] on 01/07/18 from Luton Airport to Murcia Airport with a scheduled departure time of 18:40. My booking reference for this flight is L6KNSE. The flight was cancelled, causing me to arrive late at 23:00 on 01/07/18. Despite the cancellation, I was not provided the necessary assistance mandated by EU Regulation (EC) [redacted]/[redacted]. I am seeking compensation of £[redacted].99 for expenses incurred due to the lack of assistance, which includes rerouting, meals, transportation, and additional flight costs. According to Article 5, 8, and 9 of the EU Regulation, passengers are entitled to reimbursement, re-routing, and comprehensive assistance in case of flight disruptions. The airline is expected to ensure passengers' essential needs are met during delays or cancellations, as outlined in the regulation. I have enclosed relevant receipts for your reference. I am counting on your cooperation in resolving this matter promptly. Sincerely, E. Burton

Due to my Uncle falling ill, I needed to switch my flight from tomorrow to Friday. Unfortunately, the 17.05 flight I originally wanted was fully booked, so I had to settle for the 13.40 flight, costing [redacted].00. However, upon checking again, I noticed that there are now available seats on the 17.05 flight that my partner is already booked on. I really don't want to incur another expense of [redacted] pounds to switch flights again. Sticking to the 13.40 flight means dealing with transportation challenges, especially with a 3 year old in tow. Can anyone please advise if there is a way to change my flight without a hefty fee once more? Thank you for your prompt assistance, Kay.

Hello, I purchased flights from Volagratis and received an email with a PNR number and email address to use only for the outbound flight. I managed to find the PNR for the return flight, but I am unsure which email address to use, as neither the one provided by Volagratis nor my Ryanair one seem to be valid. I CANNOT CHECK IN. Tomorrow we are traveling, four of us from Stansted to Ciampino, flight at 4:10 p.m., PNR code A3HHKX. If we do not receive assistance and are charged for airport check-in, we will seek redress from the responsible parties! Thank you.

I am requesting a refund of [redacted] pounds for an additional charge on our Jun 19th flight from Luton Airport due to not having boarding passes. We originally booked our flight on Apr 2 for 78 pounds with confirmed seats. Despite receiving emails on cabin bag policy, we were not informed about needing to check in online for boarding passes. Arriving over 2 hours early, we were surprised with a [redacted]-pound fee, which is more than our original flight cost. This lack of communication is unacceptable, as other airlines provide boarding passes at the airport. Many travelers, especially the elderly, may not have easy access to computers while abroad. I am expecting a response and a refund.

I recently returned from Charleroi airport on flight FR3223 on July 23rd at 21:55. After adjusting my watch to English time, I placed it in the zipped pocket of my hand luggage. The luggage was tagged at the boarding gate and taken from me as I boarded the plane. Upon unpacking, I noticed my Gucci watch was missing its interchangeable silver bezel, valued at around £[redacted]. While the other bezels are usable, I prefer the silver one. I have tried to find a replacement bezel but have been unsuccessful. Please record this as a missing item and acknowledge receipt of this message promptly. I am inquiring about the possibility of claiming this on your insurance.

Reference FR9814 to Barcelona on July 27, [redacted]. Severe delays experienced! Our departure from Stansted is now projected to be over 3 hours late. No staff from the airline was present to update passengers at gate 87 for hours. Conflicting information was displayed on the flight boards with an initial ETA of 20:55, then instructing us to go to the gate. Passengers were left unattended in the heat without any consideration. Apologies were only given once on board by a cabin crew member who failed to provide a reason for the delay. When passengers sought information, there was a lack of representatives or security personnel, allowing two individuals to go unchecked to the jetty doors. Eventually, boarding commenced. It is now 11:35 PM UK time, making it a 3-hour delay. The Captain mentioned they were ready 1.5 hours earlier, but Ryanair had a shortage of ground crew to load baggage, leading to mismanagement of the situation. The handling of this operational issue has been disappointing and has cast a shadow on the beginning of our trip to Spain. Adding insult to injury, our BCN transfer service is trying to charge an extra Euro 20 for the delayed pick-up. I trust I am not alone in expressing dissatisfaction with the service. Let’s address this promptly. Fiona M. and guests (+3), Seat 28C

I booked a flight through Direct Flights but have not received a confirmation email. Unfortunately, I did not write down the reference number as I was expecting the email. I've checked my credit card, and the flight is paid for. I got an email from Direct Flights stating that I haven't collected my tickets from the basket, so the transaction is not completed. Direct Flights will not be open until Monday, and I can't call as I am at work. My son, M.R., is the passenger booked on the flight scheduled to depart from East Midlands on August 1st at 10:05 am to Krakow. I am worried he is not on the flight that I paid for. I need the reference to check online and print the boarding passes. Can someone assist me, please?

I have a reservation on FR2157 from AGP to BHX on August 3rd, with reference Y4CQPN. Due to the planned strike action that day, I am seeking to switch to the same flight departing one day earlier, on August 2nd. I attempted to contact Ryanair via live chat, but faced long waits exceeding an hour, leading to the session timing out. Online, in the manage my booking section, although the desired flight is available for the change, the continue button is not highlighting for me to proceed, with no indication of why the change cannot be made. There is a lack of information regarding which flights will be impacted by the strike. I am hoping for assistance in facilitating this change, as my only alternative would be purchasing a new flight and forfeiting the funds spent on the initial reservation, which does not appear equitable. Thank you for your help. - P. Holt

Booking reference KT49MP: Our FR281 flight was cancelled on 28th July. We need to reach France for my brother's wedding on 31st July. We couldn't reach Ryanair yesterday or today. We managed to book the only available alternative flight, FR281 on the evening of 31st July, but it's after the wedding. Despite constant attempts to contact you, we couldn't clarify the refund for the cancelled flight. We found an alternative flight departing tomorrow from Norwich. I wish to take this option but need assurance of a refund for the cancelled Ryanair flight. Urgent response required. Please advise promptly. Thank you.

On the day we were supposed to leave for a week-long holiday, we received notice that our return flight had been canceled, causing significant stress. Despite attempting to claim a refund for the replacement flights, we encountered continuous errors on the refund page and had to cover the costs ourselves. Upon arrival at our destination, we faced a four-hour delay, resulting in a lack of transfer services and nearly falling victim to a taxi scam trying to charge [redacted] Euros due to the absence of our arranged transfer. Dealing with Ryanair has been frustrating as they promptly collect payments but are sluggish in reimbursing us for the distressing journey. Traveling with two other 18-year-old friends for our first independent holiday, the lack of support added to the already unpleasant situation. It is evident that Ryanair falls short in customer service, failing to assist us appropriately in meeting their obligations to get us back home. We are seeking refunds for the flights and baggage fees, as well as compensation of at least £[redacted]. I trust that Ryanair will address these issues promptly; otherwise, I will pursue further action to address the distressing experience we endured.

Hello, I'm writing regarding my lost luggage on a Ryanair flight from Athens to Mykonos on July 17th. Despite my efforts, I have not received any updates on the whereabouts of my bag. The online lost claim form does not provide sufficient space to list all the contents of my bag. I would like clarification on the steps being taken to locate my bag. If it is unable to be found, I request proper documentation that includes a detailed list of all the items inside, including expensive diabetes cgm supplies and other valuable items, as I was returning from a wedding.

I purchased a ticket online for a flight from Copenhagen to London Stansted on 27/07/[redacted]. My attempts to check in online were unsuccessful, and upon reaching the airport, I was directed to seek assistance. Despite trying the self-check-in machines, I was still instructed to see an administrator at the counter. Subsequently, I was asked to pay 440DKK for a boarding pass at the ticket office, even though I had my reservation and ticket on my phone. After a disagreement with the staff about the additional charge, my wife ended up paying to avoid any further issues. Following a stressful interaction, an officer advised me to reach out to Ryanair for a refund.

My boyfriend and I reserved a car through Ryanair with Delpaso in Malaga, Spain. We encountered hidden costs of an extra [redacted] Euros for fuel and an administration fee. Although we paid these charges before fully understanding them, upon further inquiry, we realized we were misled by what seemed like a deceptive practice. We tried to dispute these extra fees, expressing our dissatisfaction with the situation. However, when trying to determine if Ryanair would refund the 90 Euros we had already paid during the reservation, we faced difficulties. After contacting Ryanair and deciding to keep the reservation due to cancellation fees, Delpaso unexpectedly refused to rent us a car, refunding the deposit and additional [redacted] Euros. This left us in a frustrating situation with a fully paid reservation through Ryanair but no car. It's alarming how a car rental company could pressure customers into paying more, offering only the options of agreeing to unfavorable terms or forfeiting what you've already paid. Additionally, the uncertainty of having a reservation canceled at any moment is concerning given the financial implications.

I had to book a flight for a connection to my final destination and had to choose a flight departing from Barcelona to Rome. Norwegian Air then contacted me to inform me that they can reroute me from Amsterdam at no extra cost. I am now trying to change my destination, but online it is not allowing me to select the correct destination. For instance, when I try to book Rome to Catania, it does not provide me with the option. When I attempt to book Rome to Seville, it charges me, even though I have insurance coverage. I called and was placed on hold after rebooking Rome to Catania, but I never received a confirmation. When I inquired about changing to Seville, the representative put me on hold and I was charged 25 euros for that call.

I made separate flight bookings for my son and his friend but faced issues adding the friend later due to a passport discrepancy. After multiple failed attempts via live chat, I had to call and pay a fee to have the bookings linked, which seemed excessive for a minor correction. I requested to appeal the charge but was denied. Being charged for something beyond my control, especially considering it generated additional revenue for the airline, is frustrating. I believe the system should allow customers more flexibility in managing bookings without such high fees. I am seeking justification for the charge or a refund. Veronica Burt. Travel date: 08th Aug [redacted], BRs - Ibz. Passengers: Veronica Burt, William Burt, Cameron Ahern, and Edward Burt. Reference: BRYS4S CW8U2V XQL1Yl.
