Good morning.*I wanted to take the time to make you aware of my experience.**I recently had dinner at a Ruby Tuesdays. We frequent our local Ruby Tuesdays and I would like to share a concern.**We completed our meal and I decided to have dessert. The waitress was extremely thoughtful by bringing two spoons in the event we both wanted to enjoy the dessert. **I was shocked with the spoon cut my lip. I alerted the waitress that I would like to speak to the manager. As she walked by a second time I alerted her that she had done nothing wrong I simply wanted to alert the manager of the safety issue due to the spoon cutting my lip. She was apologetic and said she would alert him immediately.**Quite a bit of time had lapsed since my initial request to speak with him.**The manager finally came and I asked him if he would mind feeling the edge of the spoon. He stated, "You can't even see it" as he found the sharp area. I let him know it had cut my lip and he would likely need to dispose of the spoon. He came back with "Do you need to go to the hospital"? I was stunned with his lack of care or concern. No apology or are you okay? I responded, "not as the moment unless my lip swell or require medical attention". **I just wanted you to know because of the safety issue. That was that and we were shocked. It was like a checklist and hurry up I am busy. **This was extremely disappointing the lack of concern or care. Especially when I was the one ensuring this does not happen to someone else.**We left and was baffled by the way a manager would handle such a serious safety issue. I discussed this with my friend and a neighbor. They could not believe it either.*Customer service is extremely important and in no way was this an appropriate demeanor coming from a manager.*I'm still in disbelief. **This behavior and my dissatisfaction will come to mind every time I drink or eat with a sting in the lip reminding me of the more than less sincerity that this manager offered.
