Ordered a product off eBay and was supposed to arrive by *th December. Hadn't received by **th so emailed them, they asked us to wait longer which we did. Didn't receive so opened a case with ebay for non delivery. Sellers provided ebay with a tracking number (which we wasn't given) which stated it was delivered **th Dec at **:**. TRACKING NUMBER MX*********GB. Ebay closed case as it says it's been delivered. Which it did, according to the tracking service but not to our address. Ebay has asked us to contact you to interview driver regarding this. I knew it wasn't delivered to us*neighbour*put in safe place as we have CCTV and we checked it. Following all info on Royal mail website it says it's the sender who needs to follow this up not us the receiver yet ebay say they need a letter*email proof from yourselves to us to verify that we didn't receive the package otherwise they won't refund us. As they cant due to the new GDPR. So we aren't sure what to do*where to contact. We have filled in an email previously from the site but not heard anything back yet. We have also spent over * hours on the phone trying to get through to no avail especially today as the phone lines have now shut so we have been disconnected. Please advise.
