I own two Rowenta irons. Both have been problematic since the start. I previously had a great Rowenta iron. I purchased the Actisteam and Focus from Penny's, but they directed me to Rowenta for assistance, which has been frustrating. The Actisteam has leaked since day one, and the Focus won't heat up. I am disappointed with the performance of these irons compared to the previous one I owned. I am willing to return both older units for a new or refurbished one that functions properly. I acknowledge that I delayed reaching out due to my busy schedule. If I do not receive a positive response, I may switch to a cheaper, reliable Black and Decker iron. I discarded the boxes of these nearly new units and struggle to find time to deal with returns due to working 80 hours per week.

I am experiencing issues with my clothing steamer. The steam output is inconsistent, starting strong but quickly dropping off with a faint clicking sound before stopping within 2 minutes of use. I have attempted to clean it with vinegar, which helped briefly, but the problem persists. This is my third unit; the previous ones had different issues. I am disheartened to find the nearest service center is far away in Quebec. I have been a loyal customer and advocate for your products but am now feeling frustrated. I prefer speaking to a person rather than emailing. Jan B. from Halifax, NS, can be reached at [redacted].

I bought the Aqua Perfect HU5220 last July and started using it in October [redacted]. Despite everything seemingly working, the warm mist is not warm as expected and is causing white dust to cover everything in my room. The white dust is a major inconvenience, as it requires daily cleaning of my dishes, computers, TVs, and monitors. Concerns about the dust affecting my computers have led me to order a new warm mist humidifier today to replace this disappointing product. I am let down by this humidifier and the design by Rowenta, as it has tarnished my trust in their products after being a loyal customer for many years.

Four years ago, I purchased two Rowenta Steamium [redacted] DW [redacted] model irons at Macy's in Dallas, Texas. Unfortunately, both irons have never worked properly since the beginning as the temperature gauge remains stuck on the "Linen" setting, providing inconsistent heat levels for ironing. Due to personal circumstances keeping me busy, I hadn't addressed this issue until now. Macy's advised me to contact Rowenta directly due to known problems with this model around the time of purchase. The identical issue with both irons suggests a product defect. How can this be resolved?

I own a Rowenta iron that I adore. Recently, after having the cord replaced, it started making a loud hissing noise and spraying water all over. I tried replacing the gasket, but it didn't solve the issue. No matter how much water I fill it with using the provided funnel, it seems to run dry after ironing just one pair of pants and one shirt. I am hesitant to continue using it due to safety concerns. Since it was a pricey purchase, I am considering replacing it. When I sent it back for the cord issue, my name on the package was Teri Logue, and my address is [redacted] Horseshoe Way Loop, Cleveland, TX [redacted]. In case you can assist, my phone number is [redacted]. Thank you for any help you can provide.

The temperature control knob on my Rowenta Focus iron has come off. I suspect there is a small screw that goes with it, but I hesitate to reattach it as it might fall into the iron due to its size. Even if I manage to put it back, I am uncertain if it would resolve the problem. Without the screw/spring component, the knob does not fit properly, and I am unsure if it would still adjust the temperature accurately. I purchased the iron from Amazon in November.

Subject: Request for Replacement - COMMERCIAL Ref IS9100UI /Tech Ref RS- DC0299 Steam Brush I am reaching out to address the ongoing issue with my Rowenta steam brush. Despite initial attempts at repair, my unit returned with minimal improvement - producing only one puff of steam. I have tested it thoroughly for any obstructions or faults to no avail. Despite multiple email attempts and calls to various extensions, the matter remains unresolved. I am deeply disappointed with the level of customer service received, especially considering my previous positive experiences with Rowenta products. I kindly request immediate action on this matter, either by providing a replacement unit or escalating the issue to a senior staff member. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss a resolution. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Gail Myerson

Subject: Quality Issue with Rowenta SO / [redacted] SO EXCEL Aqua Safe Heater Dear Customer Service, I purchased the Rowenta SO / [redacted] SO EXCEL Aqua Safe fan heater in July [redacted]. While the appliance functions well, the plug connecting to the cable is already breaking and the power cables are lacking protective insulation after such a short period. This poses a significant safety risk that needs immediate attention in the production process. Although the plug is meant to be flexible, it compromises durability. I can provide photos of the issue if needed. It's crucial to address this in production to prevent any potential accidents. This particular flaw was not present in the previous model. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Henning Beulke

Yesterday, while using our Rowenta Efficient iron, I turned it off and moved to another room. Shortly after, the smoke alarms went off, alerting us to a potential fire. I discovered the iron on the ironing board emitting smoke from the baseplate. I quickly unplugged it, and my husband moved it outside as it kept smoldering. After about 10 minutes, he extinguished it with water. The incident made us realize the importance of functional smoke alarms. Upon researching online, it appears that we're not the only Rowenta customers who have experienced irons catching fire. It seems like a common issue that needs addressing for safety reasons. I attempted to contact customer service to report the incident but after a 20-minute wait in the queue, I gave up and reached out to the USA corporate headquarters, where I left a message. Now, I'm waiting for their response. Regardless of the outcome, I've decided not to purchase another Rowenta iron due to this unsettling experience. Safety is paramount.

Good morning, I am Elizaveta V. from Pescara. I purchased the Rowenta [redacted] Vacuum Cleaner on March 28, [redacted], for its powerful suction capabilities. After about seven months of use, I noticed a decrease in suction power and noise. I initially thought to change the filters and check the suction tube, but the issue persisted. On November 21, [redacted], I took the vacuum to the Rowenta service center in Pescara. They returned it on December 10, [redacted], after stating that no defects were found after a thorough check. However, the suction power has not improved, and the vacuum is still under warranty. I am a loyal customer of your brand with multiple appliances, all with excellent performance. I hope for a resolution to this problem. Best regards, Elizaveta V. from Pescara.

Hello. I noticed that my Rowenta Steamforce 1800W iron began leaking about 3 to 5 months ago, despite me always emptying it and unplugging it after use. Recently, I plugged it in, and it got stuck on the linen setting with a burning smell. I attempted to adjust the temperature without success. Had I contacted you during the initial signs of malfunction, it would have been under warranty. I registered for the warranty on 1/22/[redacted]. Would it be worthwhile for me to visit your San Jose, CA location for Appliance Repair Service? Can you assess if the issues I described are repairable? Thank you.

Hello, I have a Rowenta air conditioner model: AU4010F0, purchased on Amazon.fr in [redacted]. I am currently dealing with multiple sclerosis, which makes me very sensitive to temperature changes. Since I am alone, I rely on the remote control, but it doesn't seem to be working. I assume that the issue might be due to the air conditioner being placed in a different room, resulting in no line of sight. Could you confirm if the remote control for the AU4010F0 uses an infrared connection? If so, would using a relay help solve this problem? Your advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Stuart N.
