I am currently using a pay-as-you-go plan for my cell phone (phone number: [redacted]) for emergencies only. Recently, I renewed it for another year. However, I just noticed that I am being charged $10.00 monthly for phone and text, even though I do not use texting services. Given that I may only use the phone for about 20 minutes in an entire year, the $10.00/month charge feels unreasonable. I would like to discuss how to avoid this fee.
