Some TV channels, especially CBC and PBS "drop out" briefly. No sound and a segment of the screen with no picture. This extremely irritating and I have had several visits by Rogers service personnel. I think I have determined where the problem is. If I disconnect the incoming coax from the splitter and then ***** it back in, the problem goes away for a while. This coax is part of the original wiring coming through the foundation whereas everything else has been replaced over the years. I hope that cutting off a chunk of this cable and installing a new connector will fix the problem.
