I reserved a room using my debit card on June *, I chose the option to pay cash at check-in. My card was used to hold reservation, it was not to be charged. When I got to Roadway inn, Salem OR, the hotel could not accommodate the special needs request I placed when I reserved the room. Later, I could not access the $*** because there was a pending debit for Rodeway Inn for that amount. I returned to the Salem Rodeway inn to get answers, the night clerk assured me he had not charged my card anything. I am still unable to access those funds because the clerk never declined the amount being held. Now it can only be declined via fax by Rodeway Inn to my bank. I have been unsuccessful in getting the information to that clerk, and other persons at the hotel will not send a fax citing that they are not aware of circumstances. I really need access to my money before the ** day waiting period for this to expire from pending status and no action to withdraw the funds from hotel. Please, I am asking you to send fax to *(***) ***-**** - it must be on Rodeway letterhead and have the following information:*Cardholder name Valarie Shepherd pre-authorize date JUNE * **** pre-authorize amount $***.** card reference number ********** your phone number and merchant*your name and the reason to return funds. The hotel could not accommodate and card is not charged. Please I beg you to do this asap.**Thank you,*Valarie Shepherd
