I submitted two tickets already, as the rockstar games dashboard will not load any further comments while trying to speak to customer service. Ticket number is:**********My xbox stalled while making a gold bar purchase, and duplicated the sale, charging me a total of $*** USD. I only intended to make one purchase, so I tried for a refund through Microsoft. They denied it* stating that Rockstar would need to handle the claim, as they were unable to.**The website stated that they were not processing refunds made through the xbox store. So, rather than approaching the company over refunding fifty dollars, I asked them to treat it as one purchase (they got *** dollars from me, and spending that money at once would yield *** gold bars instead of the *** I received) Figuring that this would be easier to fix than processing a refund, I’ve been told that it isn’t, and basically just told “Sorry about your luck,” with no solution even tried. **One. I don’t understand how they wouldn’t be able to simply gift my account with the difference of gold bars, as they have already gifted multiple accounts with gold bars for playing the beta, so obviously it’s not out of the scope of possibility. Especially since, I did give them $***, in two installments, seconds apart from each other. They received the money* I’m being hosed as a customer. First by Microsoft refusing to correct the mistake, and now by the zero effort made by the customer service team at Rockstar to try and offer any sort of solution in regards to the problem. **At this point, I need to know how I can get a refund started. As, if I’m going to pay one price for something, I should get the full amount attached to that price, or something in an attempt to be comparable if it’s not possible. They received the money. It’s been processed, and they benefit from the business. But in the mean time, a customer, who has played three games for YEARS, gets screwed over content wise and they seem to be fine with it. **I am so disappointed with how this is being handled, because I thought that by not further pursuing a refund on a purchase that shouldn’t have ever gone through, they would attempt to at least make it even for me, for supporting their product. A good faith gesture, if you will... so that I wouldn’t be wary of making purchases in the future. **If their hands are truly tied and there is nothing they can do in the event of a mistake, then I wouldn’t want to make purchases and risk a similar outcome as this one. This purchase was likely to be one of many, as my expendable income goes to video games I enjoy, but this whole ordeal has left an acrid taste in my mouth. **I didn’t want the duplicate purchase. I was willing to eat it though, for the good and ease of the company, if they could at least make it comparable. **It’s fifty gold bars guys, in a fake currency I was willing to buy because I was excited about the game and wanted to support further development in the beta. Comping me the gold bars would cost you nothing, save the minute and a half it took to process the request. **Simply letting a customer get screwed over without trying to do SOMETHING (in the event that you can’t gift bars out* which is already been proven false by the gift given in the first two weeks) will burn my household from making any further purchases with the company, as you’re unwilling to try and help correct a mistake. Whether it’s your mistake or not, it’s your product and you have the ability to make it semi-right. You benefit from the money used for the purchase. It’s not unreasonable to ask that I also benefit from it. **But if you can’t do anything in an effort to make up the difference, I want the second $** back, and you can take the *** gold bars out of my account. They are still there. And I won’t make any further transactions in support of the game. I shouldn’t be penalized for a glitch in the xbox store, when I was trying to support the game I was so excited to play. **Xbox account is: Pixellate *Order number(through xbox): ************Please refund my money, or offer some sort of resolution that doesn’t just end in, “Sorry. You’ll have to eat it for us.”
