I purchased a TIPM for my [redacted] Dodge Ram [redacted] 5.7 V8 and had it installed at a local dealership. Unfortunately, the part does not work with the 4-wheel drive. Apparently, I received the wrong part, MOPAR part number [redacted]AL instead of the correct part number [redacted]AL. I tried to return the item online, but I was informed that it was the only part available based on my selection. The part is in perfect condition, and I paid $[redacted].01 for it. I would like to either exchange it for the correct part or receive a refund if the correct part is unavailable. I want to transact with Rock Auto but cannot afford to pay for the part twice.

I purchased a catalytic converter from Rock Auto assuming it would fit my vehicle. However, upon attempting to install it, I discovered that my car, made in California, requires a different part. I intend to return the incorrect part. The part remains unopened in its packaging, and the only examination conducted was comparing its size to my old catalytic converter. The new part is significantly longer, indicating it is not the right fit.

I bought a Denso #[redacted] compressor for my [redacted] Cadillac Concourse on March 18th to install myself. Due to back surgery, I couldn't do it right away. Finally, my mechanic found the compressor didn't fit during the installation last week. We had to go to GM to get the correct one since the holes didn't align. I need to return the compressor for a refund as it's defective and didn't work for my car. The 30-day refund period is over, but I had to act quickly due to the issue. I received a part with damaged threads when I unpacked it. While trying to install it, I realized the pipe fitting wouldn't go on, and when I attempted to remove it using a wrench, it seemed the first two threads got flattened. I'm lacking the tools to fix the issue with the pipe thread fitting. The staff at AutoZone mentioned they could assist if I provide the thread size and pitch, details I don't have. Also, I don't have the contact information for the remanufacturing company of the carburetor. I purchased two identical new rear strut assemblies for my car, but unfortunately, one of them arrived defective and missing the protective bellows. Since Rock Auto doesn't have the same part in stock for replacement, I need to switch to a different manufacturer. However, I am unable to figure out how to do that through their website. I am disappointed that I have to bear the cost of returning the defective part, plus the additional shipping fees for a replacement from a different manufacturer. It is frustrating that I can't reach anyone at Rock Auto to discuss this issue and find a resolution. Dealing with this situation has been challenging due to the lack of proper channels for communication and problem-solving on their platform. My experience with Rock Auto has been incredibly unsatisfactory, and I don't plan on using their services again.

I am interested in ordering a KYB Excel right front coil/strut/spring/mount assembly kit. I am unsure if it comes in an assembly or a kit. Additionally, I require a right front sway bar link and headlight assemblies for both the left and right sides. I am also in need of the headlight wire harness or a complete front end wire harness that includes it. Furthermore, I am seeking the plastic skid plate that covers the under motor from the front bumper to the firewall. Additionally, I am looking for the front left and right plastic wheel wells to prevent water from getting into the tires. Finally, I need the left and right fog lamp assemblies. It is crucial for me to speak with a human representative to ensure that I am purchasing all the necessary items to complete the job correctly.

My son purchased parts for his [redacted] Toyota Avalon XLS from Rockauto. Unfortunately, some of the parts received were not the right fit for the car, despite the website indicating otherwise. Rockauto is offering a partial refund for the return shipping of the incorrect parts. Order number [redacted]59. Furthermore, the front right sway bar link was missing entirely, and two unrelated parts were sent instead. This resulted in additional expenses for the correct items from the mechanic. We are requesting a full refund for the incorrect parts along with free shipping to rectify your mistake. Due to this error, there was an extra $[redacted] spent on control arms and $53 on the missing sway bar link. We expect compensation for the price difference and free shipping. I attempted to order a small part from Rockauto, but received an error message stating it was too large for international shipping. After discussing this on a car forum, a member successfully received the part and forwarded it to me. However, when trying to order a different part today, I received a message saying it was not available and removed from my shopping cart. This occurred with various parts for different car makes and models. It appears that my account may have been blocked from purchasing.

While I would like to return the parts for a refund, it's challenging as the process might damage the items. The issue stemmed from receiving a 29 spline hub instead of the required 27 spline hub, causing the CV axle to spin unsecured. Aware that the bearing is correct but the hub is not, I confirmed this with a local auto parts store. I believe it's unfair to be responsible for return shipping when the mistake is on RockAuto's end. I am requesting a refund and a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrect air filter. The filter I received is five-sided like the website's picture, while it should be a rectangular shape with three rounded corners and one squared off corner, as shown for other filters on the site. I received an item from RockAuto that does not fit my **** Toyota Corolla LE as expected. The air filter I received is five-sided, unlike the rectangular one with three rounded corners and one squared-off corner that should be in my car. This mistake is due to an error on RockAuto's website. I believe RockAuto should provide a prepaid shipping label for the return as it is their error, not mine. I am requesting a refund for the item as well. My son is away at college, and I ordered the air filter without confirming its size and shape, hoping to save on shipping costs by ordering all items together.

I placed an order for 4 Gabriel shock absorbers, 2 of part number [redacted] and 2 of part number [redacted] (order number: [redacted]08). However, when I received the items, I found that one box of part number [redacted] contained the incorrect shock absorber. Despite returning it and receiving a replacement, the issue persisted as the replacement shock was also incorrect. RockAuto is now requesting me to cover the return shipping costs. I believe I should not be responsible for the return shipping since I did not order the wrong part number and the issue lies with the incorrect items being sent in boxes labeled correctly. Hello, I am encountering an issue with an air conditioning unit I bought. I followed the warranty process, but unfortunately, I made an error in the warranty claim that resulted in the compressor being deemed non-returnable. Upon receiving my order #[redacted]96, I followed the installation instructions, mounted the compressor on the truck, reattached the belt, and was preparing to take it to the service station for vacuuming and charging. However, I noticed that the pulley was noisy and wobbling, even though the compressor wasn't engaged as it wasn't connected yet. I wish to address a recent order I received. While the main packing box was in decent condition, the items inside were badly smashed and damaged. The broken blower pieces could be heard rattling inside before opening it. I am puzzled as to why the package was not inspected before shipment. This is an unexpected situation from Rock Auto, causing inconvenience. I now have to travel 10 miles to use the library computer for a return label. It would have been helpful if the label was included. Order number [redacted]24 will take even longer due to the oversight. It is disappointing that damaged boxes are not replaced upon return. This experience has shaken my confidence in the company.
