I ordered & rec'd a pair of sun visor mounting brackets for my **** Chevrolet Impala Custom (same body as the Caprice model) part * "BRKT**". While they appear to be almost identical, and the mounting holes do match up, once the new bracket is attached to the roof the attaching arm is angled up at the headliner...no way can you attach a visor. The problem, is that the pivot point and spring ***'y was cast "perpendicular" to the mounting flange. The original part is cast with it at an angle (it also has the * "*******"on it, and my **** Chevy Impala parts book lists a slightly different ********), so the visor will attach and swing around to the side window. This RockAuto part was clearly made for a different car (I have pics that show the differences).* My question: Does RockAuto know of this error and want to correct it for other customers (I have pics showing the differences)? Does Rock have the correct part available or can they get the right part for my car?
GetHuman-amrmatar did not yet indicate what Rockauto should do to make this right.
