I bought these parts to improve the quality of the ride on my vehicle. but after installation of the front control arms the car started pulling to the left really hard even after having it professionally aligned two times at two different shops.* I tried calling Rockauto at both numbers but could not get through.* So I sent Rockauto an email, But it went unanswered. I waited a week or more for a response but there was no response from Rockauto. So I tried everything I could think of.* I took it through the mountain here, on the curvy roads and it drove a little better afterward.* I thought I had it working ok so I wrote another email to Rockauto saying I thought it was driving better. No answer from Rockauto but after driving it on the highway for a little while it went right back to pulling really hard to the left.** The reason I bought new control arms was, the bushings were worn on the original control arms and I wanted to tighten up the suspension on my **** Toyota Avalon.* It never pulled to the left or right before. It always drove really nice but with a little looseness in the steering. The New Mevotech control arms made it pull sooo hard to the left that I had to fight the steering wheel just to keep it straight on the road. * I had it professionally aligned two different times at two different shops. And it still pulled hard to the left after each alignment. So then I ordered struts a whole year earlier than I would have, to rule out any problem with the struts.* Nothing I did made it stop pulling, I even adjusted camber stronger on the left to compensate for the pulling. Nothing Helps ! * * The car has never been wrecked or bent in any way and the problem only started after I installed the new Mevotech control arms. ** The car is in great condition for its age ****, and has at this time ***,*** original miles on it, Gentle Miles, Not a lot for a Toyota Avalon.** New Control arms are supposed to restore caster to original tolerance and they are also supposed to be within *.** Preferred of each other Preferred setting is **.*** but these Mevotech control arms have almost a whole degree more caster on the right. That is a lot of difference, and I think this is the biggest reason for the pulling. The Original Control Arms have *.*** difference. Also after removing the Mevotech control arms, I examined them more closely and found that they do not line up with the original control arms. They do not match. The Mevotech Control Arms don't match each other either. Off by at least ***" in two different directions.** These New Control Arms have Less than *** Miles on them. And I cannot use them because they are defective.** I studied your site for a long time to get the best parts you had and still keep them stock performance. I chose the Mevotech Premium Control Arms because of what your site said about them and because they had a LifeTime Warranty. they were the second best you had, I bought them as a set because I wanted them to match with precision.** I don't know if they are for a different model car, But they are defective, And they pull so hard to the left that I cannot keep them on the car. I have removed them from my car and put the original control arms back on with new bushings installed and now it drives normal again. It doesn't pull anymore. So it is confirmed, The control arms from Mevotech were the problem. ** I still want new control arms. My original suggestion was to send these back to Rockauto and have them replaced with the AC Delco Control Arms. They are slightly less expensive but have a lifetime warranty. I Do Not want to go through this hassle again, Installing and Removing parts that don't match is very hard on me and the car.* I do not want to replace them with the same brand. I feel the same problem is absolutely going to be the same with the replacements if they are the same brand and part numbers. I am seriously disabled and have had a hard time getting all this done in the time allowed by your return policy.*** I am ASTONISHED that you have not e-mailed me back. ! !* * I think we should be able to find a solution together. I really cannot afford to loose $**.** Ea. $***.** cost of the two control arms , Let alone the shipping costs.* * The cost for the AC Delco Professional Control Arms are $**.** Ea. $***.**. for * Part * **D***** and * **D***** plus shipping,. I think these are matching parts but the part numbers are so far apart I'm not real sure.** Will you Please get back to me on this issue, As I don't know what else to do at this time.**Robert Shipley*** Pinon Rd.*Edgewood, New Mexico ****** ***) ***-**********@***.com
