June **, ******My name is Azizollah Abrishamian. For a number of years, I have been ordering parts from Rockauto for a **** Toyota Corolla LE and a **** Benz c*** Kompressor.**On May **, **** I ordered a number of parts through Order Number ******** amounting to $***.**. One of the items, ordered in duplicate was Wheel Bearing and Hub ***embly (henceforth "Bearings") SKF brand part number BR****** for the **** Corolla LE. I did receive two bearing ***emblies in boxes marked SKF but the the bearings in the boxes were both of the "NSK" brand, not of the "SKF" brand which I ordered. I did use the "NSK" bearings since I had to complete the job.**On May **, **** I placed a second order via Order Number ******** amounting to $***.**. Among the parts in this order are:**. A front wheel bearing for the **** Benz c*** Kompressor "SKF" brand Part Number WKH****,**. Front brake pads for the **** Corolla LE "RAYBESTOS" brand, in duplicate, Part Number EHT***H,**. Rear brake shoes for the **** Corolla LE "POWER STOP" brand, in duplicate, Part Number B***,**. Rear brakes drum brake hardware kit for the **** Corolla, "RAYBESTOS" brand, Part Number H*****.**The concern with Item Number * above is that the SKF Wheel Bearing Package came in a suspect box. More importantly, the bearings were not sealed in anything, rather they were unsealed individual pieces, without any protective covering, freely moving against one another in the box. This item has been the only item in the entire Order Number ******** which came unsealed, without protection and in a such a box. I have no use for a wheel bearing such as this.**As to Item Numbers * and * above, neither the RAYBESTOS Drum Brake hardware (Item * above) nor the RAYBESTOS pads (Item * above) actually fit in their respective locations in the Caliper Bracket Hardware no matter what was done. They appear to be defectively manufactured. I even tried to install the pads without the ****ms and with the old Drum Brake Hardware, but without success. Under duress and with no other choice, I ended up using the old brake pads and old drum brake hardware which I had removed in order to replace them with new ones. So the Raybestos pads are completely useless and the only parts from the Raybestos Drum Brake Hardware Package I ended up using are the brake springs and nothing else. I am planning to order different brand new front brake pads to redo the job all over again.** Regarding Item Number * above, i.e. POWER STOP Brake Shoes, Part Number B***, although I ended up installing a set, in driving application and test, they proved not to provide robust braking power and grip as advertised by ROCKAUTO. I am actually and even afraid that the installed shoes may damage the new WAGNER Rotors which I also purchased in duplicate, Part Number BD******E from Rockauto under the same order number noted above. I am planning to order new shoes to replace the above POWER STOP Shoes purchased from Rockauto and redo the job all over again. **I have trusted Rockauto for providing quality auto parts, paid good money for my parts and also paid $**.** for ****pping. Obviously, I expected to receive new, sealed products of proper fitment from Rockauto. I think that a fair resolution at this point is for Rockauto to take responsibility and take back Item Numbers *, * and the second unused part under Number * above (i.e. the unused POWER STOP Brake Shoes, Part Number B***), pay for the return ****pping of these items and reimburse me for the purchase cost of these items plus their ***ociated ****pping cost. As to Item Number * above, I leave that up to Rockauto for a fair resolution.**Regarding the NSK brand Wheel Bearing and Hub ***embly which Rockauto ****pped in place of the SKF brand that I had originally ordered, as explained above I would appreciate Rockauto's coming up with a fair resolution especially as related to any part warranty for the NSK brand Wheel Bearing and Hub ***embly which I did not order, but which lacks any part warranty.**As to the labor work which was wasted on the Raybestos brake pads and Raybestos hardware and the POWER STOP brake shoes, as explained above I would appreciate for Rockauto to come up with a reasonable and fair resolution.**Respectfully submitted,**Azizollah Abrishamian
I trust that Rockauto will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
