This is a long story... *So about *? *? years ago (too long ago for me to remember, but back when League's graphics are still less developed, when Koreans havent gave figured out lanes and metas, when rip FoN, HoG and PhilStone was still in the game) I started playing this game introduced by a friend, I immediately liked the game and have kept playing it since, progressing through levels and making friends here and there. Then at some point, some **** in real life happened to me and it affected my emotional stability a lot, and regrettably, I did take it out on others playing the game (got chat restricted quite some times and once banned * days i think). My online friends notice such a change and asked how I was and, as a person going through emotional trauma, I had ambivalent feelings of wanting to push them away but have their accompany at the same time. So what happened is that I told them that "I" am a friend of the original owner that was given the account to.*You might think that is the reason why my account got suspended. Funny thing is, that happened again loads of years ago and out of habit or to sustain the lie I told people that this account was given to by a friend, never once was I suspended or questioned (Im guessing Riot doesnt use chat filter to detect account sharing unlike offensive language but instead uses erratic IP and other technological mumble jumble stuff -- which as I never actually did share account so never did happen). After a while, with counselling and time, I reformed, got my track back in life and except sometimes still lying about the origins of the account out of habit, my trauma was behind me and stopped affecting me --- until two days ago when my account got suspended because of 'suspicious activity' --- right when I moved from Hong Kong to Canada to study University.*So I submitted a ticket and went into a live chat with a rioter, gave the information that really one else wouldve known except for me (like my first five champions bought or what gift was given to me etc), then somehow the rioter asked was the account given to you by a friend and, out of habit, I said yes --- ****. The Rioter immediately sent a ":(" and copy-pasta'd a response about violations and shut down the chat immediately, not allowing me to explain my situation, so are the two latter Rioters (well one kind of sat through but did not listen, just said things like 'hurr dur you said yes to that question so ***** to be you'). I tried asking for why they suspended me in the first place (because the reason they are banning me now is not even based on the initial suspension but this one casual response I made?) but they never gave answers. I felt like being convicted in court, not of the initial crime Im charged of, without evidence, but merely one verbal 'confession' that I made.*I guess Im just wondering whether a person be convicted purely because of some verbal confession? (not to mention that was quite a casual question thrown out, to me at that time at least, I completely was not under the impression that it was a Hi-how-are-you---but-if-you-say-'im-not-fine'-then-you-will-be-put-in-an-asylum kind of question...) I mean I think that person should obviously be suspected and checked but if no new evidence arise then they should be let go free? *If possible, I hope Riot can look into this issue and have a IP check or whatever technological, evidence-based investigation on my account and so an innocent person does not get banned because of merely a verbal mistake.*TL*DR: Lied about the origin of account because of ego and has been doing that ever since, suspended because went from HK to CND for university and has immense IP change, told the Rioter the account "was made by a friend", got, banned.
