I bought the table saw in the Bemidji home depot store in late **** or early **** I now have a $*** boat anchor as well as several other ridgid tools I am looking to sell and am hoping you can help me out. I sent in the registration on my table saw for the life time service repair but when I sent it in for repair your repair facility said they couldn't find the registration and the parts for my saw are no longer available. I have bought several Ridgid tools and FEEL THAT I have been ripped off on them as well. I bought *- * piece sets at the cost of $*** with a free ** gal vacuum. at that time you were making them as **v tools (each set consisted of * drill, I impact, * reciprocating saw, * curricular saw and * flashlight) I did enjoy the use of the tools for around * years but when the batteries started getting weak I find out you no longer had **v tools and you have switched ** v tools I could at that time I could buy the ** v batteries on line for the cost of $***.** each. I complained to the pro counter rep at home depot a few times as well as the store manager and the best they could do was give me a $*** rebate for each set to buy the **v sets.(they even let me keep the * **v sets I had and still have but none of the batteries work any more) I had no choice at the time due to the fact I was on a job and I needed them right away on the job site so I bought*- * piece set and *- * piece set ,that set consisted of * drill and * impact. the home depot (Pro counter head even registered my sets for me but I now find out that the * piece set is registered in my name but he somehow sent in the serial number for the drill and impact from one of my original * piece sets so ridged looked at thr numbers and after determining that the serial numbers were from * year old tools they paid no attention to the warrantee request at all) due to limited satisfaction and the promise of the pro desk rep of future care I bought a contractors table saw with folding stand n wheels. I have also bought the ridged * tank compressor and a miter saw. I have used the table saw for about *-* years but it stopped working so I sent it in for repair and was told you never got the warrantee paperwork from my mailing and could not fix the tool without it. I then asked if I could get the parts from you and I would fix it my self and was told the parts were NOT available. thus the $*** saw is now boat anchor. I will send you all the nonfunctioning or un safe to run tools I have in place of a new table saw. if I do not get any resolution from you I will have no alternative but to post to any social media I can the problem with purchasing Ridgid tools. Please help me with this situation. At present I am well satisfied with the performance of my **v sets and the compressor but will No longer buy any ridged tools if this is the why you service your customers i have bought all my tools from home depot and did plan to continue additional tools to add to the working sets I have but am so frustrated that I will have no other recourse but will have to just stop buying tools from you and will tell all the other contractors i know to STOP buying ur tools and why. I did also contact Home Depot and was informed of your poor rating from the better business bureau and that I should contact them as well as my state's Atty. General. The Home depot Rep. even provided me with the number of the Atty. Generals office I have invested over $*,*** in Ridgid tools of witch at lease $*,*** of them are useless (the * - * piece sets of **v tools that batteries that work fine other than batteries are NOW no longer available any where tho I can get the ones I have rebuilt at a cost of $** each with a ** day warrantee and the contractors saw that according to Ridgid NO repair parts that I need are available. PLEASE contact me as soon as possible with possible satisfactory resolution to my problems.
