I'm looking to sell my $[redacted] boat anchor and other Ridgid tools. I had issues with the repair of my table saw under the lifetime service repair agreement. Apparently, the repair facility couldn't locate my registration, and parts for my saw are no longer available. I previously purchased 2 sets of 24V Ridgid tools costing $[redacted] each with a free 12-gallon vacuum, but when the batteries needed replacement, I found out Ridgid no longer made 24V tools. I received a $[redacted] rebate per set to buy the 18V replacements. Recently, my contractor's table saw stopped working, and Ridgid couldn't repair it without the warranty paperwork or provide the necessary parts. This has left me frustrated, considering the investment I made in Ridgid tools. If this matter isn't resolved, I may have to look into other brands despite being satisfied with the 18V sets' performance.

I purchased a table saw from the Bemidji Home Depot store back in late [redacted] or early [redacted]. I am now looking to sell my Ridgid tools but have encountered issues with repairs and parts availability. Despite sending in the registration for my table saw for lifetime service repair, the repair facility could not locate it, leaving me with an unusable tool and no available parts. I also faced challenges when the batteries of my 24v tools became weak, as Ridgid had switched to 18v options. Despite receiving a rebate from Home Depot when trying to address the issue, I am left dissatisfied with the lack of support for my older tools. Despite having invested over $2,[redacted] in Ridgid tools, I am left with many that are now useless due to a lack of available parts and proper assistance. I hope to find a satisfactory resolution to these ongoing problems to continue supporting the brand.

I purchased a table saw from the Bemidji Home Depot in late [redacted] or early [redacted]. I am disappointed after sending in the registration for lifetime service repair, as the repair facility could not locate my registration and claimed that parts for my saw are no longer available. Additionally, I bought two Ridgid 5-piece sets costing $[redacted] each with a free 12-gallon vacuum. I later discovered that the 24v tools were discontinued, and batteries became scarce. Despite receiving a rebate to switch to 18v sets, I faced issues with the registration of my new tools. The contractor's table saw I acquired also malfunctioned without repair options, making it unusable. I am dissatisfied with Ridgid's customer service and product support. Despite currently being content with my 18v sets and compressor, I may cease buying Ridgid tools due to these ongoing challenges. I urge for a satisfactory resolution to my concerns promptly.

I am looking for more information about the AR4512 table saw I recently purchased. A friend recommended it to me as he has been using one for a few years. I noticed a significant difference in mobility as my new saw has 1 caster wheel and 2 stationary wheels, unlike my friend's saw that moves around effortlessly. As an older man with a small workshop, I require the saw to maneuver in tight spaces. The foot pedal's location on the side of the saw is inconvenient compared to older models with a front pedal. I am interested in acquiring the older set of lift casters and foot pedal for better mobility and would be willing to exchange them with the ones currently on my saw. Despite these issues, I do like the saw and intend to keep it. However, I would advise against purchasing it solely due to its limited mobility. Thank you, Jim Peterson from Henning, MN.

My other tools are functioning properly, but my drill is not working and the battery is not charging correctly. The drill itself works, but the light won't turn off. Additionally, the battery labeled as cs[redacted]2 nb-1 06 40 is not functioning. The company is not honoring the product warranty since when I sent in the registration card, there seem to be no records of it. When I inquire about this, I receive excuses rather than solutions. I rely on these tools frequently and might purchase more for my company in the future, so resolving this issue is crucial.

I received a new Ridgid cordless drill as a gift, which was purchased 97 days ago. However, it was given to me just 30 days ago. I contacted them about the "Lifetime Warranty" and was informed that it is too late to register. The person who gifted it to me mentioned that she tried to register it a few times, but the website was not functioning. I attempted to register the drill today, but unfortunately, the site is still not working. My goal is to register the tool and obtain the Lifetime Warranty.

I run a small business and have exclusively switched to using your tools from Dewalt to Ridgid due to the warranty offered. Recently, I experienced an issue with one of my impact guns (R86011) and sent it in for service. However, the repair process took an unreasonable amount of time, a month and a half, which is highly inconvenient. To make matters worse, the same tool has malfunctioned once again. When I contacted the sales department, the representative apologized but was unhelpful. Despite requesting to speak with her manager, I was redirected multiple times without any resolution. It is frustrating that there are no loaner tools available, especially considering the frequency of repairs needed. As a loyal customer who heavily invests in your products, I am disappointed with the lack of efficient customer service. I am currently on hold for an hour awaiting assistance and hope to see improvements in the future. Please reach out to me via email at [email redacted]. Thank you, Emin.

I am experiencing an issue with my Ridgid BS1400 band saw, which has a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, the trunnions fell apart due to their brittleness. Ridgid informed me they no longer produce the part. Despite sending the saw in for repair as advised, Home Depot Tool and Rental charged me $20 to ship it without fixing it. They claimed it was not a defective part as the issue was due to the heavy table. I am disappointed with the lack of support for this product and no longer plan to purchase from Ridgid. It seems many others online have faced a similar problem with the pot metal disintegrating. This situation has left me frustrated and questioning if there is any legal recourse available.

Last April, my Ridgid drill suddenly stopped working. After calling Ridgid and providing them with the drill number, I was surprised to find out it was registered to someone in MN, even though I bought it as part of a set from Home Depot in Mishawaka, IN. Despite my efforts to get it repaired at K Tool in Laporte, IN, they deemed it too old for repairs and requested a replacement from Ridgid, which was initially denied. After multiple calls and exchanges, Ridgid finally sent a new drill, but unfortunately, it was also defective. K Tool is supposed to repair it, but after 7 months of waiting and many phone calls, I am still without a working drill. I hope Ridgid can step up and honor the warranty soon. My experience with their customer service has been extremely disappointing, and as a former 27-year customer service worker, I expected better treatment. - R. Dixon

I recently attempted to have my Ridgid 18-volt batteries replaced under the lifetime warranty. After calling the [redacted] number, I spoke with a customer service representative who informed me that my batteries were not covered under the warranty. Back in [redacted], I had my three batteries replaced at an authorized Ridgid service center in Saginaw, Michigan. The service center ordered new batteries for me, and upon picking them up, I asked if any further action was needed, to which I was told no. Now, the representative is saying that because I didn't register the replacement batteries, they are not covered under the lifetime warranty. Despite leaving a voicemail for a manager and contacting customer service online, I haven't received any assistance. Feeling frustrated as a loyal Ridgid tools user, I hope to resolve this issue soon. My contact information is [redacted], located at [redacted] N Oak Rd, Wheeler, Michigan [redacted]. Thank you, Neil.

In April [redacted], my Ridgid drill stopped working. When I contacted Ridgid, they informed me that the ID number was registered to someone in MN, a person I didn't know. I had purchased the drill in a bag with four other Ridgid tools, and had sent the warranty card. The Service center couldn't repair it due to unavailability of the part. After my second request, Ridgid sent a new drill, but it was mistakenly delivered to the wrong address with the name of the person in MN. Upon receiving the drill, it didn't work. Despite contacting the service center repeatedly since July [redacted], I am yet to receive a response for the calls made in October. I feel disappointed and doubtful about Ridgid's claim of a lifetime warranty and their lack of customer service. I have decided to no longer purchase Ridgid products. Email: [redacted] -Rosemary D.

I own multiple Ridgid tools, including four 4.0 batteries that are failing to charge. The sawzall is also falling apart, and I've faced difficulties trying to register my products online. Considering the quality issues I've experienced, I'm contemplating switching to a different brand for my next set of battery-operated tools. I have all the receipts for my Ridgid tools but am struggling with the lack of support. Can you assist me in deciding whether to stick with Ridgid or explore other options for reliable tools with better customer service? Thank you.

I bought a drill/impact drill roughly five months ago. The regular drill has stopped working, and the impact drill is working but with reduced torque. The main issue is that the battery won't stay in its place and needs constant readjustment to operate. The model number is R86038. I emailed the company about two and a half weeks ago and have not yet received a response.

In [redacted], I bought a set of cordless drill and screwdriver with ni-cad batteries featuring a lifetime replacement warranty. Recently, I faced an issue with the battery for the screwdriver not holding a charge. When attempting to charge it, both red and green lights flashed alternately, and the battery remained low on power. Even after leaving it to charge for 24 hours, the problem persisted. I had registered my tools when I bought them. I have been on hold on the phone for over 30 minutes now trying to resolve this, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to reach anyone for assistance. How do I go about getting the batteries replaced?

In June [redacted], I purchased a drill gun and impact drill from Home Depot. On June 25, [redacted], my impact drill (model # R86037) broke. I contacted Ridgid via email about the issue, providing ticket # [redacted]0, and was informed that someone would reach out within 48 hours. However, to this date, I have not received any response. Despite my multiple attempts to call, I was unable to connect with anyone regarding this matter. As a glass installer, it is crucial for me to have functioning tools. I reached out again on July 14, [redacted], but received the same automated message assuring contact within 48 hours and the same ticket number. Regrettably, no one has reached out to me yet. I am hoping that Ridgid can honor their lifetime warranty and replace my drill promptly.

During a recent job, my 18-volt cordless drill started smoking, causing me to quickly leave the customer's house for safety. After placing the drill on the grass, it started spinning uncontrollably and continued to smoke, leaving me concerned about a potential battery fire or explosion. The customer witnessed this incident. As a loyal Ridgid tools user who has invested significantly in your products, I would like to discuss this matter with a company representative. Thank you.

I own mostly 18V cordless tools from Rigid, and my reciprocating saw died on me after just a few uses. I thought it was covered by a lifetime warranty, but to my surprise, I needed to pay $35 upfront to send it in for repairs. Despite having the saw for 2 years, it wasn't covered because I hadn't registered it. Frustrated by the warranty loophole, I found the $16 part needed to fix it myself. Rigid's warranty policy seems misleading, and their customer service was unresponsive when I sought help from upper management. I plan to share my experience with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Reports to warn others. Consider buying Makita tools instead, as I've had a positive experience with them lasting over 30 years.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have an impressive collection of Ridgid pipe cutters #1 through #6, with 41 out of the 44 models made since [redacted]. Over the last 50 years, I have meticulously restored each one to like-new condition. In some cases, I have replaced the older leverage handles with 1/2" pipe for durability. As I am moving and won't be able to display them, I am considering selling the collection. If you are interested, please reach out, and I can provide pictures for your consideration. We bought a 10" Tile Saw with Serial Number GW20211D2C48115 and Model Number R4092, registering it with Rigid on 3/8/[redacted]. As general contractors, tile work is part of our services, and this saw is only used one or two days a month. It was repaired in February [redacted] with a new motor. However, upon using it today, the motor sounds just as bad as before, and now it causes the circuitry in the homeowner's house to fail. We are disappointed as we rely on your products and cannot afford another failed repair. We believe this saw may be unrepairable and request a claim to be issued so we can exchange it for a new model. Sincerely, Dominick

My son bought me a new Ridgid 18V Octane 3Ah battery (CS19212N460170) a couple of months ago. I tried to charge it using my 18V DS19252DE88363 charger yesterday, and it seems defective as the charger indicates. The battery was dead on arrival, and the battery life indicator doesn't work. Home Depot doesn't have these batteries, and I suspect an issue with the Octane line. I called the 1-[redacted] 4RIDGID number but was on hold for 30 minutes without speaking to anyone. How can I proceed to get a replacement or repair for this faulty battery?
