Moved into new house *******. Have Rheem RRRL-C ** seer Prestige Series gas electric heating cooling unit. We have been told by a Rheem servicer that because the builder never registered our unit we do not have the ** year warranty. This seems highly unfair to the home owner who has no control over what the builder does or does not do. Our Rheem model * is RRRL-C***JK**EBVA, serial * is *T****ADBAF*********. Our servicer, Williamsburg Heating & Air Conditioning has sold Rheem units for ** years and has said there is nothing he can do. The current repair is for a blower motor and the cost is $***. We are both over ** years of age and a repair of this magnitude is difficult to cover. We appreciate any consideration.

Fortunately, our Rheem unit was in the Prestige series which does automatically includes a ** year PARTS ONLY warranty. Our contractor was able to verify this by giving the serial * to Rheem Customer Service Dep.
