I contacted the local waste management service in Prospect Heights, IL to confirm the yard waste pickup scheduled to start on 3/22/[redacted]. Despite being assured that a truck was on its way multiple times, no pickup occurred on Friday, Saturday, or subsequent days. This has caused significant inconvenience as I have 12 full cans of yard waste, including fallen tree branches from winter storms, that I have been shuffling back and forth. At 75 years old, this task is very difficult for me. It seems my entire neighborhood experienced the same issue of missed pickups despite paying for the service. I am frustrated by the repeated misinformation and lack of service and am doubtful if they will follow through with the pickup on 3/29/[redacted].

I am looking to arrange for a truck to collect large items, such as yard waste, following a storm. I have received conflicting information from different representatives. The current driver informed me that he is unable to pick up bulk items and mentioned a service where a truck will come to the location to load and remove the items that do not fit in the container provided. I am struggling to schedule this pick up as the receptionists seem unable to assist effectively. I would appreciate clarification on this issue. I reside in the [redacted] Winder, GA area, and have been encountering repeated issues with missed trash pickups by Republic Services. Despite reporting the problem multiple times, the situation has not been addressed. Last week's missed pickup was followed by numerous unsuccessful attempts to have it rectified. I reside in Huntington, WV, and want to share my feedback on your services. While I have no complaints about the service itself, I am concerned about the safety practices observed during my trash pickups. Lately, I've noticed only one worker on my route doing all the tasks solo, which raises safety issues. I believe that individual care and safety matter in every job, regardless of the number of stops on a route. I've reached out last week regarding this and will continue to do so until I see a change in how your trucks are staffed. I reside at 95 N. Rolland Ridge Road along with two other neighbors on the same street in Apache Junction, AZ. We all have bi-weekly trash service without recycling. Despite using the same provider since [redacted], I have noticed I am paying over $40 more per bill than my neighbors for identical services. After contacting Miranda, a Republic Consultant, she agreed to lower my bill to an estimated $44 plus tax moving forward and adjust the overcharged amount from my last bill. However, I am requesting a refund for previous overcharges. I have not received any explanation for the discrepancies in pricing. I ordered a dumpster and requested an extension for its pick-up, but it was collected on the wrong day. I called customer service for assistance, and I was advised to call back on Monday at 7:00 am. Despite following up on multiple occasions, no one contacted me as promised. Even after contacting them again the following week, my issue remains unresolved. It has been two weeks, and I am still waiting for a resolution.

I placed an order for new service between April 30th and May 1st. I was assured that my garbage can would arrive no later than Friday, May 10th. I rang that morning to confirm the delivery time but was informed it would arrive by 6 pm that day. I explained that I had 7 bags of trash accumulating because my pickup day is Friday and it would be another week until it was collected. Despite being advised to place the bags by the road, the trash can did not arrive by 5:30 pm. After calling again, I was notified it wouldn't be delivered until Monday. Upset, I mentioned the bags were already out, and I was concerned animals would scatter the trash. The lady instructed me to move the bags back. I am disappointed in this delay! They were quick to deduct the payment from my account, yet it takes two weeks to bring a trash can? I anticipate the can's arrival by Monday, May 13th.

A week ago, our yard waste cart was collected. My wife contacted customer service upon being wrongly informed that someone requested the pickup. We were promised a new cart, but it was not delivered. Today, when we followed up, we were informed that the service for our area has been discontinued by management without any prior notice. Despite being loyal customers who always pay on time, we were shocked by this news. The customer service representative showed no concern when we called. We hope for an apology and a resolution. My name is Terry H. and I live at 93 Starling Estates, Morgantown, WV [redacted]. Our usual Tuesday garbage pickup was rescheduled to Wednesday due to the holiday. It is now Friday afternoon, and our street has not been serviced. I doubt our trash will be collected this week. I am inquiring about a possible pro-rated adjustment to my bill for the missed pickup. Calculating the amount for a weekly pickup from the quarterly bill and deducting it from the next statement seems fair. I attempted to contact a representative but found it challenging. Despite my vehicle being in the right lane and his in the left, he abruptly switched lanes without signaling, engaging with his cell phone. Carrying hydrochloric acid, I narrowly avoided a collision by refraining from honking or sudden braking, attributing his near-miss to his reckless behavior. I am extremely disappointed with Republic. On Friday, June 14, [redacted], my blue REPUBLIC receptacle was not emptied without any explanation. I reside at [redacted] Sandridge Ct, Alpharetta, GA [redacted]. After contacting customer service, I was told it would be picked up later that day or on June 17th; however, my trash was still there. Despite being assured of a pickup on June 17th, the trash remained on the curb. After calling Republic again, the trash was not collected after three failed promises by Republic. The lack of follow-through and the continuous lies from Republic are more disappointing than the missed pickup. Republic's failure to uphold quality customer service and their proclaimed five R's is disheartening.

I arranged for a new service two weeks ago and was promised curbside bins would be dropped off, but they still haven't arrived. Despite calling multiple times to express the urgency, the bins have not been delivered. Today, July 1, marks another missed delivery. Even though I was told twice today that the delivery was scheduled, it did not happen. This lack of accountability and integrity is disappointing. It seems like a ball has been dropped for over two weeks, which is not acceptable. If there were another company in Las Vegas, I would switch immediately. I have noticed the company delivering bins to other neighbors in the area during this time, which adds to the frustration. Meanwhile, I am accumulating two weeks' worth of trash and potentially being charged for services I am not receiving.

This is urgent. I am a Republic Roll-off Driver at the Ft. Wayne, Indiana Division who operates out of the Republic Services Transfer Division in Auburn, Indiana. I've been servicing the SDI Steel Plant in Butler, Indiana. The contract worth between 4 to 6 million dollars is up for renewal, but Bill at SDI is upset that nobody from the Ft. Wayne Division has approached him to negotiate a new deal to continue servicing SDI. Maintaining anonymity as a one-year employee, I've heard that Bill at SDI does not see eye to eye with Ray Garbaciak, the key figure in our Ft. Wayne sales team. Bill mentioned not renewing the contract if Ray is involved due to alleged unmet verbal commitments. We are a team of about 6 to 8 personnel managing this crucial account. Corporate needs to be informed promptly.

Frontier Services recently offered my neighbors and me a more cost-effective trash service option. We sent a postcard to RSG to terminate our service and I notified RSG through their website and by phone. Since June, when my account was paid up until, RSG has not picked up my trash. Despite this, I received an email confirming a payment schedule with Republic. I request the immediate cancellation of my service with Republic. I have been a customer since Bagley Waste was acquired by Republic but have found a comparable service at 70% less cost. It is frustrating that new customers are offered lower rates than loyal, long-term customers like myself. Unfortunately, I have not been able to cancel my service through customer service representatives or the website. My account is paid through June, and I provided over 30 days' notice for cancellation. Please stop my service as requested. I am reaching out via this platform as previous methods have been unsuccessful. Thank you.

1. I prepaid for a year of service in May [redacted]. I was assured I'd receive my solid waste cart the day after Memorial Day, but it arrived 3 days late. 2. In June, despite my account being paid up to May [redacted], I received an $8.01 invoice. It took a lengthy hold time to resolve this issue. 3. July brought unexpected changes to the pickup date without notice. Another invoice was issued in July for $0.00. As a new customer for only two months, I've faced multiple inconveniences. I request that you cease generating monthly invoices for customers who have already prepaid for a year of service.

I have been using Republic's residential garbage and yard waste services for the past few years. About three years ago, I bought a waste container for additional yard waste, which was unfortunately damaged by the pickup truck. After contacting Republic, they offered to deliver a replacement bin at no charge, but there was a delay in receiving it. Recently, I discovered that we were being wrongly charged for two waste containers on our bill. When I contacted Republic, "Aliya" assisted me but could only provide billing information from August [redacted]. After a long discussion, they agreed to credit me for 18 months of overcharging. Despite my request to speak with higher-ups like "Lisa" and "Gerald" in billing, I haven't received any follow-up. I am seeking full reimbursement for the overcharge and $30 for the destroyed waste bin. I have requested either a credit for the overcharge and the damaged bin or delivery of the second waste bin without an extra charge. I hope Republic will address this issue promptly. Attention Preferred Properties of Pittsburgh, located at [redacted] Coventry Road, Pittsburgh, PA [redacted], owned by S. Galli. Recently, there have been recurring problems with missed pickups at our different sites. Specifically, there were multiple missed pickups at [redacted] Centre Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA [redacted]. Although we reported this, the dumpster was only collected after contacting you. Subsequently, we received our monthly invoice, which included a $[redacted].00 fee for an unscheduled service. Kindly eliminate this charge, including any related interest on the total fuel/environmental recovery fee. The bill indicates charges for two missed pickups in addition to one more. While we acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances can lead to delays, the decline in service quality and the escalating bills are concerning. We appreciate your attention to this matter. Since June, we have contacted multiple times requesting a refund and cancellation of the service due to missed trash and recycling pickups. Despite being assured the service would cease and the bins would be retrieved by the end of the month during our last call, no action has been taken, and we continue to receive bills. This message serves as notification that we will no longer be utilizing your service. We prefer not to waste additional time contacting your ineffective customer service. Kindly discontinue the service and remove the bins from our premises before August 16, [redacted]. Any issues with the bins following this date will not be our responsibility. I contacted Republic Services in Charleston, SC on Thursday, August 9, [redacted], to terminate my service. I was informed that I could only cancel at the end of the month and needed to make a $33.00 partial payment for August. I couldn't discuss my concerns due to being at a business conference, so I planned to call back on Monday from my office. I wish to cancel because my bill fluctuates, unlike my colleague and two church members who pay $27.00 quarterly despite residing nearby. It's frustrating as I've been paying over $70 for many years. I am reaching out from Old Paths Holiness Church regarding an issue we are experiencing with our dumpster. The lid has been bent up and wedged, likely due to being improperly placed by the dumpster service. The lid is now destroyed, and the base is also at risk of falling out. It seems like blocks were placed under the dumpster to level it, but they are now broken, causing the lid to get stuck in the ground. Additionally, the door on one side is stuck because the dumpster lacks wheels on the backside, making it uneven. We need a replacement dumpster promptly to address these issues.
