The issue in GetHuman-rickgort's own words
We hired a car through Rentalcars.com (booking ref *********). the rental cost was $***.** for the duration. We were then advised that the balance was required which brought the total up to $***.** (The car rental amount * $***.** 'full protection' - we didn't ask for this, it was just charged. Upon picking the car up from Europcar at Manchester Airport we were advised by the rental clerk that Europcar do not accept*recognize Rentalcar full protection coverage (and Rentalcar.com KNOW this) and that we had to take out their insurance. They also said that this is a common occurrence and that getting a refund would not be a problem. I am sincerely hoping that this is the case. Please arrange a full refund of my $***.** as soon as possible
