I have been the owner of the property at [redacted] E 9th St., Stockton, CA [redacted] since purchasing it in cash from HSBC in [redacted]. Recently, I agreed to sell this house to Kulwinder Shergill Singh for $[redacted],[redacted] as he requested. Due to me leaving the U.S., I entrusted my 76-year-old mother to oversee the sale. Mr. Singh requested the notarized grant deed with him listed as the Grantee, promising to pay once he had the document. However, he deceptively took the notarized grant deed from my mother and recorded it swiftly without our knowledge. He also collected rent from my tenants and forcibly evicted them. As a result, I am preparing to take legal action against Mr. Singh for Grand Theft, among other offenses. I urge your office to be cautious in dealing with this property due to the ongoing dispute.
