My mother has had a readers digest subscription for probably ** years. She has given me a gift subscription for at least ** years. She has gotten a bill every year and paid the gift price ranging from $** in **** rapidly rising to $**.** this year. She is ** years old and just pays the gift subscription cost on her bill. I learned after talking to readers digest customer service that she could have called and they would have given her the $** gift price every year. There is no customer service telephone number on her bills. I learned of this when she told me she has gotten two letters that her bill wasn’t paid yet. It was paid and she gave me the check number. Now, why was she not offered the $** gift price every year on her paper bill especially being a decades old readers digest customer. Customer service supervisor Nathan could only give me a prorated refund for this last year and said that’s all he could do. My calculations only from **** are my mom paid $**.** more then she fairly needed to.
