Get it fixed out of warranty ... I purchased this Dragon fly * back in Feb,** of **** after seeing the ease of use and several very interesting features. I sold my Hummingbird *** CI*SI because I had always heard from several people in commercial fishing industry about how robust and generally good there products were .Well this unit is * years old always stored with boat in garage not used every day maybe * times a month and now after speaking to raymarine because I assumed I could at least get the unit repaired because the navigation joystick is loose and the sonar only works when it wants to I was told well it’s a sealed unit there’s nothing we can do you will have to replace the unit with the superseded Dragon fly pro * at my expense. I certainly will not be doing that or recommending to any of my Texas counterparts based off my last interaction with raymarine .
They should disclose its a sealed unit and cant be repaired once its out of warranty
I would like them to fix my unit or discount a new generation dragonfly
Because Im loyal to products that stand behind there customers and when I believe in a product I certainly promote it.
