I went to Race Trac in Belleview, Florida just before *:**am this morning to get gas and pick up some drinks and snacks for the day and the doors were all locked. The employee was inside but said she locked the doors because she was alone!?! I visit this store at least *-* times a week, sometimes twice a day! I cannot believe that an employee is permitted to just lock the doors because they don't want to work alone! I don't know who is at fault, the store for not having * people present (is that your policy?) or the employee for locking out customers. (at least * people were turned away in the * min we were there) If the policy is to have * people, then there should have been a back up plan. If it is not your policy, you should find employees who are capable of working a late ****ft. I don't expect anything in return, I just want a store that is open ** hours to be open ** hours so I can make a purchase. If this is a problem and employees can just lock the doors if someone is late or a no show, then the store needs a back up plan. Maybe: Previous ****ft can't leave until next ****ft is present?? I don't usually complain, but this is a huge inconvenience, especially since I shop there so frequently. Maybe I need to go across the street to the Kangaroo from now on.
I trust that RaceTrac will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
