We just purchased a new LG TV. It is connected to our cable bix by HDMI and we programmed the RCN-Universal remote to control the TV. Sometimes, when we switch channels via the RCN-Universal remote, the TV sound goes off. The TV is not on mute when this happens, and pushing the mute button on the universal or the TV's own remote have no effect. Instead, we have to restart the TV to get the sound back. We reprogrammed the TV, as instructed by LG and when that didn't work, we shipped the TV back to LG. LG claims the TV is not defective, and they are shipping it back to us. Could the remote signal be the problem? Have you seen this before and would you have any suggestions? Thanks.
