Hi, I'm Maram Shashank from India. On 29-12-[redacted], I had a flight from Hyderabad to Chicago. Unfortunately, I received a different bag at the end of my journey. I reported the issue to the staff near baggage collection at Chicago O'Hare Airport. My bag had my tags with my name and baggage number. They assured me they would work on it but I haven't heard any updates after submitting a claim request. My bag contains important documents, certificates, and expensive medication. I kindly request your assistance in locating and returning my bag. Thank you. Maram Shashank Flight: ORD QR [redacted]/30 Baggage number: [redacted]

Hello, my name is Patrick Ezeadichie. I have made multiple attempts to contact today, but the line at [redacted] was unclear and hard to understand. I am reaching out regarding Ticket # 4UXHUK. I purchased a ticket for my wife, Chinyere Ezeadichie, who was supposed to travel on 12/7/21 but couldn't due to health reasons. About a week ago, I spoke to Qatar Airways' Agent Kishan. He informed me that he had rebooked my wife's flight for Feb 13, returning on Feb 28, [redacted]. Kishan mentioned that he would send an email to [redacted] requesting an additional payment of around $1.45, but I have not received any communication from him or Qatar Airways about this. I kindly ask for assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you. You can contact me at [redacted]8. Patrick Ezeadichie

Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Fariba Sadatmand. My flight reference was RR5RA2, flight number [redacted][redacted]. I had a negative Covid test on January 11th but was unable to fly. On January 13th, I had to get tested again as I needed to urgently return home due to my sister's illness. Despite having a negative test within 24 hours, I faced issues at the airport. I had to pay $[redacted] for a retest at an urgent care facility. My complaint involves extra baggage charges. On January 11th, I was initially allowed the extra suitcase at no cost due to my Privilege Club Burgundy Card. When I returned on the 13th and mentioned my card again, the agent charged me $[redacted] for extra luggage and $57 for excess weight, mistakenly processing my credit card. I request a refund of $25 for the baggage and $57 for weight charges. I am a loyal member of Qatar Airways' Privilege Club and hope to maintain my faith in the airline's service. My address for refund is Fariba Sadatmand [redacted] Bottle Brush Way Murrieta CA [redacted]. Thank you.

My name is Sydney Muswere, an NHS staff from London, in need of assistance. Yesterday at the check-in desk for my flight from Harare to London, I was unable to provide the UK passenger Locator code. Despite downloading it later, I missed the check-in time. I tried to re-book the flight but was unable to do so due to system restrictions. Agnes from your staff advised me to email [redacted] for help, mentioning there might be a re-booking fee. I haven't received a response yet. I need to re-book for the Wednesday Flight and seek relevant information to proceed accordingly as I aim to return to work. Thank you. Sydney Muswere.

I asked for a cancellation of my return flight to South Africa from Dublin, but Qatar Airways denied my request stating that the flight was booked through a travel agent, which is inaccurate. I originally booked a one-way Qatar Airways flight from Johannesburg to Dublin on January 13, [redacted] (Reference W9D3VG). However, at the airport, I was informed by the Qatar Airways manager that I needed a return flight to enter Ireland. I was then compelled to purchase a return flight (reference RXVCOY- Flight QR20 and QR135) at the Qatar Airways Departure Desk at OR Tambo Airport, and not through a travel agent. The information provided by the Qatar Airways manager was incorrect as the Irish Immigration Authority did not require proof of a return flight. Consequently, I cancelled booking RXVCOY as I do not need this flight on February 14, [redacted], and I am requesting a full refund from Qatar Airways based on this situation.

Dear Sirs, I am scheduled to travel to SFO, USA next month with Qatar Airways to visit my grandson. I have received all my vaccinations, including the booster dose. I am from South India, where my husband's name comes before mine. My name is Malti and my husband's name is Ramani, making my full name Ramani Malti. However, my vaccination certificate uses my passport number as the ID reference, where my name is Malti Ramani to match my passport, visa, and e-tickets. The discrepancy is only in the order of the names due to the Aadhaar card's format. I kindly seek your advice on whether this will cause any issues during my first flight with your esteemed airline. I am looking forward to a smooth and pleasant journey. Thank you, Malti Ramani (Ramani Malti)

Hello, I'm reaching out for a friend of mine who is nearly 2 years old along with their mother who are in urgent need to travel to Papua New Guinea to reunite with the father after a 2-year separation due to COVID-19 restrictions. The mother has everything in order, including her ticket with Qatar Airways through Doha and Singapore, and then to Port Moresby with Air Niugini. She has a PCR test, a letter from her husband, and documentation from the Police Commissioner of PNG granting entry. However, upon arrival at the airport, Qatar Airways mentioned she requires a letter of permission to transit through Singapore. The Singapore government website indicates that transit visas are no longer necessary. Could someone please clarify the exact documentation she needs to board the Qatar Airways flight? Thank you, Kay.

My flight on January 25th was canceled by Qatar Airways. When I contacted them, they rescheduled my flight to February 28th, stating it was the only available option. With the Philippines easing travel restrictions, I called Qatar Airways a few days ago, but they instructed me to contact the agency that booked my ticket, despite Qatar being the one that changed my flight previously. Qatar Airways informed me they have no available flights, but I found options for February 17th and 19th. I emailed them, but have not received a response. Unfortunately, I can't make calls due to an issue with my Turkish SIM card. I'm running low on funds for this prolonged stay and need assistance to return home promptly. I'm open to landing at Clark International Airport if available, not just Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.

My flight on January 25 was canceled by the airline, Qatar Airways rebooked me for February 28, as it was the only available flight. Upon discovering the travel restrictions to the Philippines were lifted, I contacted Qatar Airways in hopes of finding an earlier flight, but they only offered February 28. However, I later found flights on February 17 and 19 on their website. I have emailed them but received no response yet. I would appreciate your help in booking an earlier flight than February 28, preferably to Clark International Airport instead of Manila. My booking reference is 2C9NX8, and my name is Jenelyn Tablada Mones. Unfortunately, I have reached my call quota, so I am unable to contact them by phone. I am looking forward to your prompt assistance.

Hello, I would like to report an issue I encountered at the Qatar check-in at JFK on December 10, [redacted]. When checking in for my flight from JFK to BKK with a connection in DOH, the Qatar staff only tagged 2 out of our 3 bags, causing one of them to go missing. Despite trying to reach out to Qatar with no luck, we managed to retrieve the bag with the help of our personal assistant at JFK - TERMINAL 8 on December 20th. I am now seeking full reimbursement for the expenses incurred in Thailand to replace our belongings and for the personal assistant's services. It has been 2 months since the incident, and we have not received any communication regarding a resolution. Kindly find my details below: Name: Daniele Dos Santos Vieira Email: [redacted] Claim Number: BKK[redacted] Amount requested for reimbursement: $2,[redacted] I have all the receipts for the purchases. Good morning, I reached out to Qatar on 23/02/22 but have not received a response yet. I'm following up on an email I sent regarding our travel voucher. Since we live in Western Australia and are currently in lockdown, we are unable to travel as the borders remain closed with no reopening date in sight. Due to these circumstances, we are unable to make any travel arrangements. We kindly request an extension on our travel vouchers or a refund for your consideration. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, T.W. & J.L.

Hello, My name is Niny Mayerly Pava Ramirez, and I am a crew member for Scenic Cruise. I recently traveled with Qatar Airways from São Paulo "GRU" to Doha "DOH" on February 15th, flight QR0774, and had a layover of over 13 hours. Despite being informed by my company that I should have been provided with a hotel, I was unable to access the Mariner Lounge until the early hours of the morning due to overcrowding. I incurred expenses on food and beverages during this time, but unfortunately, I have misplaced the receipts. Scenic is requesting receipts for reimbursement. Can you assist me with this matter and help me receive the refund I am entitled to as a crew member? Thank you for your attention to this issue. Best regards, Niny Pava

My sister-in-law purchased tickets for us to Greece in [redacted]. Due to Covid, we had to convert them to open tickets. I recently tried to rebook for May [redacted], only to find out the tickets were canceled as the rebooking needed to be done before the original purchase date of February 7, [redacted]. This was a costly gift, and I'm upset to potentially lose it. I was directed to contact Customer Service via the Qatar website but couldn't find any forms or email information. I am aware I'm two weeks past the cutoff, but I'm hopeful there might be a way to resolve this. I've tried calling earlier this week, but the waiting times were excessive. Can someone please help me with this issue?

Hello, I had an original booking reference, S56HOG, issued on August 26, [redacted], for a flight from Bangalore to Vancouver that was canceled by Qatar Airways due to the pandemic. I rebooked a flight from Bangalore to Doha, quarantined for two days to meet Canadian Covid regulations, and then booked a flight from Doha to Vancouver with booking reference RXL2QC issued on January 18, [redacted]. When rerouting this trip, I incurred additional charges of [redacted] QAR despite being initially told changes would be free. I seek clarification if I can receive a refund for these additional fees. Additionally, since the original route was from BLR to YVR and the new route is from DOH to YVR, I am uncertain if I am entitled to a refund for the Bangalore to Doha portion as well.

Hello, I had a travel issue yesterday, on the 17th of March, with flight O24EPV from Malta to Singapore. I was informed last evening in Rome that the flight was not a VTL, so I had to change my plans. My daughter in Singapore and I both booked alternative flights due to the communication mix-up. I canceled one booking (JHW760) and I am now flying on another flight (K85GXA) with my wife. I hope there are no more issues as this confusion started with the first flight booking not being a VTL flight. Can you please confirm that all refunds will be processed accordingly? Thank you

A family member is currently in Tanzania during the COVID-19 pandemic. They are a UK resident, but their Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) has expired. Despite this, they successfully applied for a new BRP. However, they are unable to return to the UK to complete the Biometric process in person due to medical reasons. They are aware of Section 3C Article of the Immigration Act of [redacted], which allows them to work and study while awaiting the conclusion of their application. The individual is accompanied by family members in Tanzania and has a booking for a Biometric appointment. They are seeking assistance with securing a flight back to the UK, as they have the right to return and exercise their Human Rights under Article 8. They are in possession of emails and UK Visas and Immigration documents documenting their situation and are looking for guidance on how to proceed.
