I have an EEP for travel to Qatar from India, which was issued on July 28, [redacted], requiring hotel quarantine. The recent update from Qatar's Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) states that travelers from non-low-risk countries need a virus-free certificate from an accredited testing center within 48 hours before travel. Upon arrival in Doha, they must follow a week of home quarantine. Since I am traveling from a country not listed as low-risk and will have a valid COVID-19 test result, can I opt for home quarantine instead of the initial hotel quarantine as per my EEP?

Hello, I am reaching out regarding a recent travel issue. My friend, Ofelia Runne, and I were unable to board the flight from Oslo to Clark International Airport on October 1st due to not having the required visa for our Norwegian passports. We were unaware of this requirement, as we have previously traveled to the Philippines without needing a visa. Despite our attempts to contact the airline staff, we were unable to resolve the situation. After researching further, I am now seeking assistance with either a refund or rebooking of our flights. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kind regards, Enerolita Esguerra Kjoenaas.

Hello, I am preparing for my first trip to India through Qatar Airways. Being a member of the student club, I would like to inquire if I am entitled to an additional 10 kg baggage allowance as a Burgundy Student Club member. If this benefit applies, I would appreciate guidance on how to request this privilege. My journey is from Stockholm, Sweden to New Delhi, India, and it is a round trip. I am curious about my total baggage allowance for the economy class and the process for availing the complimentary extra baggage service. Should I be granted the 10 kg extra baggage allowance, am I allowed to carry this additional weight both ways, from Stockholm to India and vice versa? Furthermore, is there any documentation required to prove my eligibility for this complimentary service? Thank you in advance for your assistance. - Purnima M.

Hello, I would like to inform you about the changes to my flight details. My original ticket number #[redacted][redacted] has been updated to ETKT [redacted][redacted] for the journey from Tehran to Sydney on 19/12/[redacted] with Qatar Airways. My new booking reference is QR/N25ZPD. Initially, my flight had a 1.5-hour layover in Doha which was later extended to 13 hours. Unfortunately, the ticket was eventually canceled on 14th December. The cancellation was apparently due to passenger capacity regulations imposed by Australia. I purchased this ticket in early September [redacted], well after the passenger capacity rules were implemented in July [redacted]. Therefore, I believe my booking should have been considered valid. This situation has significantly impacted my family, work, and children's well-being. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in resolving this issue.

Good evening, I am Gerhard Olivier and I would like to reserve a flight for January 10, [redacted], from South Africa to the United Kingdom. During the booking process, I was prompted to provide my passport's expiry date. I recently returned on Tuesday, December 29, from the UK to South Africa to renew my passport. I have been informed that my renewed passport will be available on January 7, [redacted]. Would it be feasible to proceed with the booking now and update my passport details once I have received it? Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Gerhard

I am inquiring about my friend, Ruby Ava Wilson, who was scheduled to fly on December 24, [redacted] from CMB Colombo, Sri Lanka to DOH Doha, Hamad International Airport. No one has had any contact with her since she departed for the airport in Colombo. Her final destination was to be IAH Houston, Texas in the United States with a connecting flight in Hamad. Ms. Wilson was traveling alone after working on a Refugee Camp project in Sri Lanka. For verification, you can visit Ms. Wilson's website at www.medicallifesaver.com. Should she require assistance to return home, please let me know. Dear Customer Service, My daughters were scheduled to fly yesterday with reference number PZDMMH. The passengers were Anano GOGIBERIDZE with passport number 18AC80836 and Nino GOGIBERIDZE with passport number 18AC70400. Our flight was supposed to depart on 01/13/21 at 9:00 pm. I am worried about my girlfriend, Miss Kullanat Khumwilai's, flight. Her booking reference is #QX2U77. The outbound journey started in Bbangkok with the first flight, QR839, departing to Doha, Hamad. The second flight, QR739, was from Doha, Hamad, to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport on February 12, [redacted], at 15:10 at Terminal D. Upon arrival in Dallas/Fort Worth, I waited for 5 hours, and the airport clerk informed me that flight QR739 had arrived with no passengers or baggage for Miss Kullanat Khumwilai. As her mother contacted me on February 14, [redacted], at 12:40 PM, I am concerned for her safety and whereabouts. Please provide an update on this situation. Thank you.

I had a 5-year ban on entering South Africa from the United States, issued in July [redacted]. The ban was due to my visa expiring before I could extend it during my previous stay in South Africa. The ban should have ended in July [redacted]. I am planning to fly back to Cape Town from Boston in early May [redacted] and want to buy a non-refundable ticket. However, I want to confirm if I can now enter South Africa without any problems. I am seeking a supervisor who can check if I am clear to fly into Cape Town. I don't want to risk buying a non-refundable ticket only to find out later that I am not allowed entry, losing $1,[redacted]. I just need to make sure I can purchase a ticket from Boston to Cape Town without any issues at this time.

Subject: Request for Assistance - Qatar Airways Dear Qatar Airways, I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional care your inflight staff provided to my elderly mother (Afzal Begum) and my sister (Nasreen Qamar) during their recent travel from Lahore (LHE) to New York (JFK) via Doha on October 27, [redacted]. My mother fell ill during the flight, and your team acted promptly by arranging for her to receive medical attention at Jamaica Hospital near JFK Airport upon landing. This assistance was truly commendable and greatly appreciated by my family and me. Since their arrival in New York, my mother has been undergoing treatment for various health issues, and as a result, I have had to extend their return flight multiple times at an additional cost. While my sister is prepared to return to Lahore on February 21, [redacted], my mother's doctors have advised that she needs at least 10 more days of treatment before she can travel. As a healthcare professional, I kindly request Qatar Airways to extend my mother's ticket at no extra charge until March 5th or 6th, [redacted], to accommodate her medical needs. I am willing to provide her medical documents for verification if necessary. I appreciate your understanding and assistance in this matter. Thank you. My family's tickets for a trip from Manchester to Islamabad via Qatar Airways were not accepted due to issues with the Nadra card paperwork. Despite having stamped copies of the documents, we were not allowed to board. The Pakistan High Commission has acknowledged the delays in obtaining documents due to Covid but we were still prevented from traveling. Only one person out of the six in our group was allowed to board. We need to re-issue tickets for the remaining five passengers as we are eager to travel. Appreciate your prompt assistance. Best regards.

I had originally booked a flight from LHR to ISB on December 6, [redacted], with booking reference RBLHGX at a ticket cost of £[redacted].66. Due to the increasing COVID cases in Pakistan and the possibility of a vaccine soon, I was advised not to travel. I contacted the travel agents at Esky to change my booking to March 20, [redacted], outside the official lockdown period, which incurred an extra cost of £[redacted].00. Currently, we are under lockdown and only essential travel is allowed. I cannot travel on the 20th by declaring an emergency as visiting my mother, who is well, is not an emergency. The travel agent offered a voucher, a change of date with additional costs, and Privilege Club miles. This change is not voluntary but compelled by the government restrictions. I do not want to break the law, which has severe penalties. I am requesting a flexible change of dates for a trip planned for the end of May when pleasure travel is permitted. I have already paid £[redacted].66 and have not traveled yet. I do not wish to incur any more expenses due to a government-imposed travel ban, which was not my choice. I hope for a prompt resolution to this matter. Best regards, Dr. Rashid Ali

My name is Mihealdin Saber, and my flight number is [redacted]0 from Arbil to Heathrow last night. I arrived this morning at 6:20 a.m. I'm not happy with the service. I paid $[redacted] for extra kilos for my bags. When I was boarding the plane, they didn't let my bag go with me because there was no sticker or label on it. They said there wasn't enough time to tag it, so I had to leave it in Arbil. My bag contains important documents for my company. I am a regular customer of Qatar Airways, and I need my bag. I want a refund for the amount I paid. Thank you for considering this.

I was unable to board Flt QR [redacted] due to a positive PCR test but should have been allowed based on Canada's regulations. My positive test from March 3 falls within the 14 to 90-day window, and I followed all quarantine procedures with documentation from the Rural Health Unit doctor in Dalaguete, Cebu. I provided evidence to show I am no longer contagious, but the boarding officers need better training to interpret destination country guidelines correctly.

Qatar Airways has changed my flight from Seatac to Muscat twice, resulting in a new schedule that adds 6 hours to my journey. This adjustment has made it challenging to get a valid PCR test within the required timeframe for my arrival in MCT. The current flight plan has us departing at 1 am, which complicates the timing of our test results. I am concerned about the possibility of being bumped off the flight again, especially if the connecting flight is not full. Departing at 1 am may be less favorable than the original 5 pm flight we were rebooked from. I am unsure of the best course of action moving forward.

On the 24th of March, I purchased flights from Athens to Goa using vouchers and needed to pay a €[redacted].36 difference. The payment was initially not accepted, leading me to try multiple times. After contacting my bank, the transaction unexpectedly went through three times. I promptly reached out to Qatar Airways for assistance but have yet to receive any acknowledgment. I am awaiting a refund of €[redacted].72 and would appreciate a prompt resolution. The booking reference for the flights on the 29th of December [redacted] to the 14th of March [redacted] is KFB6EY under the names of Patricia and Michael Landon. Your timely response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am encountering an issue concerning the cancellation of a flight scheduled for April 3rd from Zagreb, Croatia. Although I intended to purchase the ticket, my delay was due to waiting for my PCR test results. I never finalized the booking, and the flight was subsequently canceled. My concern lies in the lack of documentation to explain my absence from work to my employer, as I did not secure a ticket on the day in question. I have since made a reservation for April 4th from Vienna under the name Inelda Felic with booking reference PVJGI5. Given my tardiness for work, I kindly request your assistance in providing proof of the canceled flight from Zagreb on April 3rd to validate my situation to my employer. I appreciate your prompt response. Thank you, Inelda Felic

I have a flight ticket reference number (UANTAP) and need help. I am traveling to Hyderabad, India, with Qatar Airways. My itinerary includes a flight from Alabama to Dallas on American Airlines operated by Qatar Airways, followed by flights from Dallas to Doha and Doha to Hyderabad. During the Alabama to Dallas leg, the American Airlines flight was small, and the crew took my cabin bag without a receipt, promising to return it upon landing in Dallas. Unfortunately, due to the rush and transit time constraints, I was unable to retrieve my bag. Despite explaining the situation to Qatar Airways staff in Dallas, they were unable to assist. I am seeking advice on how to claim my cabin bag and what options are available to resolve this issue.
