My partner has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and because of his condition, flying is not an option. Unfortunately, FlySharp is only offering a refund of £[redacted] out of the £[redacted] we paid for the tickets. This situation is out of our control, and we strongly feel that we should be entitled to more than just £[redacted] back. Dealing with a serious illness like cancer is already challenging enough without having to worry about losing money on unused flight tickets. I have made an online booking for a flight from Sao Paulo (GRU) to Kolkata (CCU) on 19/07/[redacted], and I am trying to change it to 28/07/[redacted]. I reached out to customer service in India, and they attempted multiple times to process the payment via IVR. Despite trying various Visa and Mastercards from different banks, the transactions failed. The staff advised me to modify the booking online, but I couldn't find that option. Both the city and airport offices are unable to assist me. As a long-time Qatar Airways customer, this experience is unusual and causing me significant stress, especially since I have made hotel arrangements in Brazil.

I am trying to book air tickets from Atlanta to Kolkata. The departure date is 21-MAY-[redacted] and the return date is from Kolkata on 22-JUL-[redacted]. When I search with these dates, I notice that it mentions a "complimentary 1-night stay in Doha at a 5-star hotel." Can you please confirm what documentation I will receive to ensure that I will receive the complimentary accommodation and meals for that night and the following day until my flight departure? My baggage was delayed, and one bag arrived with spoiled food, while the other is still missing. Without my important documents, medication, and suits, I can't proceed with my plans. My experience at Colombo International Airport was extremely frustrating. As a frequent flyer with your airline, missing an important meeting for my daughter's wedding is distressing. Hello, I wanted to share that we reserved four tickets for two trips with Qatar Airways, under the booking references UWB211 and PNPZS3, primarily due to the ideal connecting times in Doha. However, Qatar Airways unilaterally adjusted the departure times from Athens, resulting in an extended layover from 2 hours to nearly 8 hours in Doha. We kindly request compensation for this inconvenience, in the form of complimentary lounge access. Furthermore, for both return trips, we will need to make arrangements to amend our Aegean Airlines flights from Paros to Athens to accommodate the revised schedule caused by the altered connection. I accidentally booked my return flight for July 16th instead of January 16th. Despite reaching the airport promptly, I was unable to board. After struggling to contact Qatar Airways, I paid ₹18,[redacted] to reschedule for the correct date. Even with confirmation, staff denied me boarding as the system showed the wrong date. I pleaded over the phone to no avail, causing me to miss the flight. I then purchased a new ticket for ₹10,[redacted], returning to the UK two days later. The airline wrongly claimed I arrived late, causing distress and work issues. I am disappointed with this experience and seek to understand what went wrong and file a complaint against Qatar Airways.

I am a bit confused about the requirements for my upcoming flights. I will be flying from Boston to Victoria Falls with layovers in Doha and Johannesburg on a Qatar Airways ticket. The first two flights are with Qatar Airways, and the last one is with South African Airways (SAA). I am concerned because at JNB, SAA requests a small locked ammunition box weighing less than 5kg to be carried separately. I am now wondering if Qatar Airways has a similar requirement for carrying a small locked ammunition box and if they charge for it as an extra checked baggage. Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated.

Due to the situation in Thailand concerning the coronavirus, I am concerned about my health during my planned university activity. My colleagues in Thailand have also confirmed these worries. I plan on going to Thailand for my university activity, but I believe moving it to July [redacted] will reduce the risks associated with the virus. We flew from Wuhan, China on January 21st to the Philippines. Our flights back were booked via Trip.com on January 27th. Air Asia's sudden policy change on February 2nd caught us off guard. They now prohibit travelers who had been in China within 14 days of their flights from boarding. We were not notified of this change and were denied boarding on our Singapore connection. This impacted my plans to fly from there to Johannesburg with Qatar Airways on February 4th. Trip.com is unwilling to refund the missed flights or help with rebooking, despite our lack of knowledge about the new policy. Despite waiting for 24 hours to speak to a representative, they offered no assistance. While your website mentions full refunds for Corona Virus-related cancellations, there is little guidance for travelers barred from flights due to recent travel to China during the incubation period. It is frustrating to be held accountable for their oversight.

I flew from Dhaka, Bangladesh with Qatar Airways on December 31, [redacted], and arrived in Atlanta, USA on January 1, where I obtained a six-month stay permit. I have learned that my passport needs to be valid for six months when I depart from Atlanta on February 23, [redacted], even though I will be in transit for three hours in Doha on my way to Dhaka. I tried to renew my passport at the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC, but due to the machine-readable requirement and the need to send it to Dhaka for processing, I could not be without my passport in the US. My Ambassador and the Qatar Ambassador have agreed that I should be given a certificate to vouch for my situation. I am carrying this document with me. My passport expires on July 27, [redacted]. I am facing challenges as my funds are limited, my medications are running out, and I am a senior citizen and a member of the Privilege Club. I kindly request that the airline considers my circumstances and allows me to fly on February 23 from Atlanta. I am facing a serious issue with Qatar Airways regarding a refund for two tickets I booked on September 13, [redacted], for a round trip from Houston to Delhi on October 7. I used a Visa Credit Card for payment on the Qatar Airways website, but during check-in, I was unable to present the same credit card, and the ground staff insisted we buy new tickets or be denied boarding. I had to use a different credit card to purchase new tickets and was assured of a refund for the original booking. This situation caused great inconvenience and stress, especially as a senior citizen and heart patient. Upon my return from India after two months, I unsuccessfully tried to resolve the refund issue, involving my credit card issuer in a dispute with Qatar Airways. Despite numerous calls and visits to the airport, Qatar Airways has not cooperated in processing the refund, prolonging the resolution for another 45 to 60 days.

I had to remove some personal items from my hand luggage at the Qatar Airways check at Dublin Airport on February 12, [redacted], at 12:45 pm. I called my brother to come and collect the items, but Qatar Airways workers couldn't hold them for me. I informed them that my brother would retrieve the items at the check-in. Unfortunately, my brother couldn't find the items when he arrived, leading to a delay almost causing me to miss my flight. I have contacted Dublin Airport Garda, who are searching for the items and advised me to reach out to Qatar Airways. Hello, I need assistance with a flight change due to a delay. Our layover in Doha has been significantly extended from 1.5 hours to 8 hours and 45 minutes. This long layover is challenging as we have young children and a woman in a wheelchair traveling with us. I would like to request changing our connecting flight to QR0402 departing at 7:55 am to reduce the layover to 2 hours and 55 minutes. I have tried contacting Qatar customer service in Australia multiple times, but they could not assist me since I booked through an agency. Unfortunately, the booking agency has been uncooperative. I would like to request an upgrade for our flights using Qatar points I have accumulated. Although I am unsure if it will cover the full cost, I would appreciate it if you could assist me with this request. Our recent flight to BKK was unpleasant due to an incident with a disruptive passenger onboard our Qatar flight. The passenger's behavior was alarming and caused distress for us and the crew. Upon arrival, the situation escalated when the passenger followed and harassed us at the airport. Even the local police were swayed by his false accusations, making the experience very distressing. As I am now returning to Sweden to care for the elderly during the pandemic, I hope to avoid any further stress. My flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Brussels Airport on June 17th has been canceled again. I checked the official website of Qatar Airways and noticed that all direct flights to Brussels have been canceled for June. Direct flights to Brussels are only operating again from July 1st. Since I need to return quickly, I am seeking a solution. Could you please confirm if Qatar Airways flights are still available from KUL to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport directly or if there are flights from Kuala Lumpur to Hamad International Airport? I made a flight reservation for a round trip from Manchester to Zanzibar from the 12th to the 26th of February [redacted] with the confirmation number KMLFRS. However, I discovered a £40 transaction fee on my credit card due to the currency conversion when the payment was processed. I was unaware of this charge and find it very inconvenient. It was not communicated to me during the booking process, and I feel dissatisfied as I already paid a higher amount by booking directly with the airline. I request a refund of this fee promptly, as this lack of transparency is disappointing.
