We bought the 24-pack of Friskies shreds for our two indoor cats, which is their favorite brand. Unfortunately, after consuming this batch, they have been vomiting. Initially, we thought they were sick, but the vomiting persisted after each can. We then tried new cans of the same kind, and they didn't have any issues. The expiration date on the cans is August [redacted]. Out of the 6 cans they were fed, only a few remain. I'm hesitant to continue giving them this food. Have there been similar incidents reported? We got it from a different store than usual. The cats seem to be getting better, but they've been lethargic. Thank you for your assistance. - Dawn.

I purchased a 24-pack of Friskies Meaty Prime Filet Favorites, but my cats are refusing to eat it. They only licked some of the gravy and left the meaty bits untouched. This is frustrating for me as I have limited mobility due to being semi-disabled. I had a similar issue with a different product in the past, and the company provided me with vouchers. I would appreciate if the same could be done in this case. I'm concerned about the quality of the food and the possibility of my cats getting sick. It's strange because my cats are typically big eaters and enjoy Friskies. Even when I tried a different flavor, they still refused to eat the meaty parts. My cats, aged between 3 and 7, have usually healthy appetites, so this behavior is worrying. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I recently switched my cat's food to a different brand because she was vomiting after eating the Friskas canned food I usually buy. Since the switch, she is feeling much better. I have concerns about the quality of the food on the shelves as it made my cat sick, and I suspect contamination. I believe there should be a recall as my cat is not the only one affected by this issue. I have invested a significant amount of money in this now wasted food and find the situation unsatisfactory.

I recently purchased a 12 pack of assorted cat food from PetSmart and have been a long-time customer of your brand. However, the last batch I bought seemed to have some issues with the packaging. The cans appeared to not be fully sealed, causing the food to be dry when I opened the box. I returned it to the store, and they advised me to contact you. I am hoping for assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I have multiple cats to feed and have found that they are not fond of the new Tasty Treasures liver and scallop flavors, preferring the old version with cheese. I am interested in purchasing the Tasty Treasures with cheese in bulk if possible, as my cats enjoy it. They also like Purina Naturals, Purina One, and Purina Pro-Plan, but are only keen on the Friskies dry Seafood flavor. I spend around $[redacted].00 monthly on cat food and would appreciate any coupons available for Purina and Friskies products. Your assistance in finding the Tasty Treasures with cheese would be greatly appreciated by me and my feline friends. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Pamela B.

Good morning. I am writing not so much to complain, but to make a report. We are a feline colony and often purchase or receive as gifts the 400g Felix jelly or Felix in sauce cans. My last delivery arrived about 1 month ago, ordered on Amazon, but not by me. It was a much-appreciated gift for the cats, except we had to throw away at least 12 cans of unrecoverable food. Initially, I didn't notice that some were slightly dented, and I must say that not all of the dented ones needed to be thrown away. But around a dozen had a slight (almost invisible) opening on the lid, causing the food inside to mold. I have taken photos which I hope to attach to demonstrate the condition of the product. In any case, this is not a complaint but rather to make you aware that if you supply food to Amazon warehouses, it may not be handled with... care! As for Purina's quality, nothing to say, in fact, we recommend them to everyone. Our 30 cats ("La colonia di Flo" on Facebook) eat Purina One kibbles, and we always try to please them even though there are so many! So, compliments from them! I am attaching the series of numbers that I can see on the bottom of the can, so you can check that it is not a faulty batch. 02/[redacted] 10:56 [redacted]9 [redacted] FR[redacted]1 Thank you for your kind attention. Wishing you a peaceful day. F.A. (La colonia di Flo)

Recently, I purchased four large cases of Friskies cat food from a pet supply store. Although the cans appeared typical, when opened, I found the edges were extremely sharp. This caused deep cuts and bleeding on my fingers. The pressure needed to open the cans seemed excessive, leading to painful injuries. Despite my loyalty to Friskies and commitment to feeding cats, I had to discard the cans due to safety concerns. This incident was financially burdensome and caused me distress. Since buying from another store, I have not encountered similar issues. I urge for this problem to be addressed to prevent others from experiencing harm or waste from poorly sealed cans.

I have been purchasing Friskies cat food - both bags and wet food - for years for my five cats. Unfortunately, I have visited four different stores in Hollywood, Florida - Walmart, Target, Publix, and the local supermarket - but none of them have the products in stock. The last 40-pack I purchased had dented cans, and all my cats got sick after consuming it. I suspect there was a bad batch. I am disappointed with Friskies lately and considering switching brands due to the unavailability of their products. I would appreciate some feedback, coupons, or compensation for the inconvenience as a long-time loyal customer. Thank you for your attention.

I have been experiencing difficulties finding the lil' soups line of cat food in my local stores. According to Pet Smart, they mentioned that the line might have been discontinued. I am finding it challenging to open the current containers due to arthritis, which results in spillage. The pouched products are not an ideal solution either as product tends to remain in the pouch. Brands like Sheba face similar issues with their packaging. It would be beneficial for pet food companies to design containers that are easier to open and ensure that the product can be easily and fully delivered to the pet's bowl. This would be especially important considering the prices of these products. Being a leader in the industry by solving this problem would greatly benefit pet owners like me.

I was shocked to find bone fragments in one of the cans of Friskies I opened for my cats. I always break up the food for them, and it's concerning to discover something like this. I immediately disposed of the contaminated food and now have to get rid of the rest of the cases I bought from you. It's upsetting to think my pets could have been hurt by this, and I feel like my money has gone to waste.

Hello, I have a young cat, under 2 years old, and have been feeding her Friskies Shreds for about a year. I purchase the 40-can variety pack. In mid-November [redacted], I ran out of Friskies Shreds and bought her a new box of 40 cans. She started experiencing diarrhea and occasional vomiting. Despite her regular diet of 2 cans a day, she began digging in the soil of houseplants (she is strictly indoors) and eating it. I tried giving her wheatgrass, which she consumed after licking the liquid off the top of the Shreds cans. Fast forward to March 15, [redacted]. She was still struggling with intermittent vomiting and diarrhea, so I took her to the vet. No issues were found, but her appetite decreased. By March 19, she stopped eating entirely, and I rushed her to emergency care, suspecting a blockage, which was not confirmed. Her bloodwork came back normal, but she became too weak to hold her head up. Despite being prescribed a diet of chicken and rice, she refused to eat. I switched to different wet cat food and Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach kibbles. I fed her small amounts of these over 8 hours, along with water via syringe. As of today, March 21, she seems much improved. Although not fully back to her health in early November [redacted], she is better than she's been in the past 3 months. I am concerned if Friskies Shreds may contain contaminants such as salmonella. The cans in question are numbered [redacted] and [redacted]. I have three full boxes and one partially empty. Should they be returned for testing? How can I arrange for this? I do not intend to feed her this food again. Vet bills have exceeded $[redacted]. Have there been other reports or feedback about this food? I would like a refund and clarification on whether this food poses any risks. There have been no other changes in her routine, and she hasn't been exposed to any poisons in the house. Regards, BK

I need assistance with finding a suitable cat food option due to allergies. I have been buying Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers wet cat food for my eight cats, specifically the Beef Feast formula. However, I recently discovered it contains fish, to which I am severely allergic. I cannot have my cats eat food I'm allergic to. Can you please recommend a beef-flavored wet cat food in your product line that is free of fish and egg? I want to ensure my cats are happy and safe in my home. Thank you for your help.

I have been purchasing Friskies Lil' Soups for my cats at $1.00 per cup, but recently the price has gone up to $1.35. This increase is too much for me as a retiree living on Social Security. I used to feed my cats two cups a day, spending $2 plus tax, which is now unaffordable due to inflation. I urge you to reconsider the price of Lil' Soups so that people like me can continue to provide their pets with this food. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - D. Merecka

I am writing to express my concern about a recent purchase of cat treats. My mother bought me two boxes each of Chrissy's Party Mix (20 oz) and Friskies Party Mix Beachside Crunch (20 oz). Unfortunately, after her passing, I noticed an issue with the treats that my cat has been eating for the past 8 years without any problems. When I attempted to give these new treats to my cat, he refused to eat them. Upon investigating, I discovered a strong smell of mold and ammonia coming from the containers. I took this matter to the Walmart store where she purchased the treats, and the manager's response was very unhelpful as she embarrassed me in front of others. Feeling distraught after the loss of my mother, I am deeply concerned about the quality of these treats and the potential harm they may cause to pets. As a devoted cat lover and rescuer, my priority is ensuring the well-being of my animals. I kindly request to speak with someone regarding this urgent matter to prevent any harm to pets. Please contact me at [redacted] Thank you for your attention and support.

I recently purchased two sets of Friskies 20 oz containers of party mix treats for my cats from Walmart. Unfortunately, when I gave them to my cats, they refused to eat them. Upon inspection, I noticed that all the treats smelled like mildew and ammonia. Concerned about the quality, I visited Walmart to inform them about the issue, but the staff dismissed my complaint. Upset by their response, I retrieved the contaminated treats from the garbage after advice from a friend. I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding this matter as I care deeply about my cats' well-being. My email is [redacted] and my name is Mary Adano. I appreciate any help provided.

I've been very disappointed lately with the increasing inflation that is making it difficult for many people. I have been feeding numerous homeless cats here in South Florida, and manufacturer coupons for wet food have not been available for several years. These coupons used to be very helpful, but unfortunately, they are no longer offered. Wet food is essential for the health of the cats compared to dry food, and the lack of coupons is forcing me to consider cheaper brands of wet food or even switch to dry, which is not ideal. I hope you will reintroduce the coupons soon. Thank you. Sue Carson

My cat has been enjoying Friskies "Turkey Dinner in Gravy" and "Chicken and Salmon" in Gravy for over a year. Recently, she has refused to eat them. Even though I found an old case in the pantry, she happily ate it. There seems to be a change in the smell of the food. Upon smelling it, she walks away without trying it. The strays outside eat it, so it doesn't seem to be spoiled. Changing a product's formula can lead to losing customers. I have switched to 9 Lives "Super Supper" cat food, which my cat now enjoys.

I purchased Friskies wet cat food recently, and to my dismay, all the cans were moldy when I opened them. Unfortunately, I didn't notice at first and it has made my cat ill. This is the first time in years of buying this product that I've encountered such a problem, leaving me disappointed. My cat became sick from the moldy food, forcing me to take her to the vet earlier than planned. She hasn't been eating well since then. I just wanted to alert you that all the cans I purchased this time were contaminated with mold, causing me to waste money on the food. I felt it was important to inform you about this issue. Thank you.

As loyal customers, my wife recently purchased the Friskies turkey and chicken 40-can wet food pack from Walmart. Unfortunately, over half of the cans had broken seals and were leaking when we received them. We had to throw them away immediately. I saved the box for reference. We are on a tight budget and can't afford to waste money. We hope you can assist us in resolving this issue as we have been dedicated customers for many years. Thank you for your help.

I am experiencing a frustrating situation with the moldy cat food I purchased from your company. When I called for assistance, I was repeatedly transferred, incurring charges. This has added to my frustration as I just want my cellphone issue fixed. I have evidence of the moldy food in a video. I feel ignored and am considering sharing my experience online if I do not receive proper assistance soon. My phone number is [redacted]. I hope to resolve this matter promptly to avoid any further escalation. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly.
