Send and receive text messages ... More often than not, I am not receiving SMS text messages until I am within wifi service. As soon as I come home, in come a half dozen text messages all at once. **Additionally, I occasionally receive gibberish text messages (long strings of letters) and at least once a text message I sent arrived in Chinese characters. **Finally, I have been very frustrated with Google Fi support. First, I requested that they call me using the Google Fi app on my phone. I received a phone call and an automated voice said something like "Hi this is Google returning your call. To connect with a support assistant, press *." I pressed one and the same message replayed. This continued in an endless loop until I hung up. I tried this again and again to the same result. **Next, I tried requesting to chat with a representative from the Google Fi app. I received an error message, and then the chat option greyed out--I couldn't click it. **Next, I logged on to my google account on my computer and requested to chat with Google Fi Support expert. A dialogue came up saying I was *** in que. Around ** minutes later, I am still **** in que.
Helping me figure out why my phone isn't sending*receiving text messages properly.
I have been a customer for just a two months. I was led to expect service comparable to major carriers.
