Good morning, How are you. My husband and I experienced quite a frustration last night, and I hope you understand I direct this frustration only at the situation, and not at you. Last night what should have been a *.* hr drive became a * hr drive when we went all over the east coast trying to find our prepurchased accommodations (Red Roof Plus). When we finally arrived at what we thought was about the proximity of the address, we went in to a shop to ask for directions. The manager shook his head and said that we were the third travelers to ask him that week alone if they were in the right spot, when in fact we were ** minutes away. He knew this number off the top of his head. At this point, I held in my No. * so long, and I had tried tearfully to hush my screaming infant for so long, that I was just delirious with exhaustion and became unable to mentally continue the search for this holy grail. I caved and purchased another hotel that was nearby at wherever the h we are--San Marco?--sorry for the French--but at this point, we lost precious time and opportunity costs of getting to know the desired location, spending some much needed lovey dovey time, use a pool, etc. It really derailed our travel plans, not to mention cost us an additional $** in gas. I'm sorry to dump all this on you. I really appreciate your gracious willingness to hear me out. I know that this may not generally be the policy, but I am simply asking to be refunded the charge for the original motel. Thank you.
