Made reservations for Dec *-*, **** at Garden Hilton Hotel, Anderson, SC, res. *R********** on Nov.**, ****. By Dec. weather predictions for Dec *-* calling for heavy rains ATL and snow, sleet Anderson. We are ** and ** yrs old. Called Price line to change res. from *-* to Dec. **-** without penalty. Rep. Angela adv. would notify Hilton Gardens direct and Hilton Gardens would send me e-mail confirming, By afternoon when not heard from Hotel, I called them direct and was told had not recd. info and that I should call back to Priceline, they(hotel) could not cancel res. because Priceline uses different card to charge booking to hotel. I called Priceline, was told by Rep. Yvon they would "due to weather conditions would send a waiver of regret (to whom?), that it was non refundable, etc. I asked what did that mean and she just kept repeating that phrase. I asked to speak to a supv. she put me on hold for long time with very loud music. Came back on line , said due to high volume of calls, Supv. could not come to line, that supv. would call me , Needless to say * days later supv. has not called. I called Hotel direct and made res. for Dec. **-**.. I would say this is double dipping. Keeping my money and rebooking my room for *-* to another party. My AMEX card was charged in Nov for $***.** and was paid by me.*I would like my ***.** returned, Priceline is not transparent in their dealings, they have rude employees.
