The issue in GetHuman-kryskay's own words
Set up a vacation package with Priceless. Our flight to Tampa from Providence was delayed * hours, so instead of getting in at *:** Friday night, we got in at * am Saturday morning. The rental car company was closed at **:** pm Friday night, so we were unable to get our car until the next day. What a joke! We decided to take an Uber to the hotel, office hours are til *pm, even though website states **-hour desk. They have a call box outside, call * to connect to the front desk, no one answered. I called the hotel customer service, they advised me that my reservation was cancelled as we were marked down as a "no show" No where stated that I should of called the hotel to let them know of a delayed flight. The hotel was unable to help me since I booked thru Priceline and they hung up on me. It was *:** in the morning, we had no choice but to Uber back to the airport. I tried calling Priceline as their customer service states **-hours but no one was picking up the line. I used their chat service and chatted with a person who contacted the hotel for us, stating our reservation was all set and we could head back to the hotel vs sit at the airport until the rental company opened at * am. So we took that chance and wasted more money on an Uber, the priceline coworker in fact lied to me and it wasn't all set, we ran into the same problem as before. No one answered the call back, hotel customer service wouldn't help me, they wouldn't even contact their hotel staff so I could talk to the front desk directly. Its been such a hassle. I would like to get refunded for Friday for the hotel and car, I was told eventually by Priceline that I cannot be because of policies, but I dont feel that is right since its not stated anywhere about contacting the hotel and the rental car hours should of been posted too, where situations as delays happen far to often. I could of cancelled that reservation and set up a car with a **-hour company at the airport.
