My boyfriend and I had to cancel our weekend out of town due to the hurricane so we booked a stay-cation after looking over amenities for a pool and hot tub near Alexandria*national harbor. We looked at website that said this was an all suite hotel with a pool & spa, with pictures. We then chose to book through Priceline. *When we arrived and got to our room we went back downstairs to ask pool location. They stated it had been closed down for good. This was extremely upsetting since this is the only amenity we wanted. *We called to talk to Priceline CS and got a non compassionate employee who basically said tough **** it’s not in your contract to have a pool. *I have worked in CS for *** years and never had someone not offer an option, or ever an apology. Nothing. * I have his name and employee number if he requires better CS training. (********)*We are, to say the least upset that Priceline misrepresented a hotel, disrespected a customer and basically ruined our little get away. Since this account was opened in the ****s when we partner when you were a bidding site for merchandise. We have used you ***s of times to even book travel. *There’s a great quote out there...*“It takes years to get a customer and only a second to lose one.”*With the customer service today. I will never use Priceline again. And I will share this disgrace of CS and how we were treated today. *I do expect a response *I do not want to be brushed under the rug as a “it’s just * person” attitude. *We will also be sending a person letter to corporate. *Thank you for nothing. *I am absolutely dumbstruck that there wasn’t even a simple apology or “thank you, we’ll update the website”. *At this point those should be done but are not going to fix our thoughts and feelings about Priceline CS
