On Thanksgiving I placed a small brunch order. Postmates took my order, said the restaurant was working on it, showed me tracking but the restaurant was closed on Thanksgiving! I even tried to call them and there was no answer. I would see the delivery person go there to pick up through tracking but would leave in * minutes. Then one delivery person texted me and said they were at the restaurant (I could see through tracking they were) and said the restaurant was completely shut and I had to cancel the order or it will keep going on. How can postmates even take a payment for a closed restaurant. I've used grubhuh, seamless, uber eats since htey started and have never had any of these issues there. I cancelled the order here, ordered from grubhub and contacted postmates on the email provided on the customer service. I got an automatic reply saying if I wanted someone to contact me to reply to that email. I did and got the SAME automatic reply. Then I did again and again got the automatic reply. Now they've charged me an annual $** charge! How can I get a refund or cancel anything if they don't respond! I prefer a paper trail since companies don't always keep their word. I have a $** and a $** charge I need refunded. I am very annoyed with their customer service and won't ever use postmates because of this. Would appreciate any help! Thank you
