Yesterday at 1 am, I placed an order for Jack in the Box delivery for 2 am. I waited for the driver but he didn't deliver my food. Even though I saw him pull up in front of my house, he never got out of his car and just drove off after a couple of minutes without giving me the food. I waited at my front door, but he didn't come up to deliver it. This behavior was disappointing as every other Postmates driver had delivered to my door directly. I received a notification saying my food was delivered and to tip the driver, but I never got my order. I'm frustrated with the situation, waited a long time, and now I want a refund. I hope to get a prompt response regarding this issue.

On the 23rd, I went to bed at 8 pm as usual since I have to work at 4 am most days. While asleep, my phone was being charged on the ground next to my bed. On Christmas Eve at midnight, I noticed a peculiar charge on my debit card - a $77 fee for a year-long Postmates subscription. I have never made any purchases on Postmates, let alone signed up for a year-long subscription. I am baffled by how this transaction occurred and simply request a full refund. I do not use the app and have no interest in a subscription. The unauthorized charge has truly dampened my Christmas spirit and overall week, especially since I was unaware of the transaction while asleep. Please address this issue promptly.

We placed an order with an estimated delivery time of 30-45 minutes. However, it has been over an hour, and the delivery driver has not started heading in our direction. The app shows that he is nearby the restaurant but seems to be circling around without progressing towards us. Despite the app indicating he is on a bike, it doesn't match the sounds we hear over the phone. We've researched different routes and timings, and he should have arrived by now. Concerned that the food will be cold, we are unable to find a way to cancel without incurring a charge. We have documentation showing his location and the expected arrival time based on our analysis. As a regular app user, I am hesitant to repeatedly contact the driver. On checking again, it appears he is moving further away from us, compounding the issue.

Hello, I'm Amy. I placed an order on Postmates for lunch from BJ's Restaurant in Bakersfield, CA. My total was $[redacted].73, but all we received were soups and salads we didn't order! Missing items include buffalo chicken grilled cheese, brewhouse bacon cheeseburger with fries, california chicken club sandwich, and jumbo spaghetti and meatballs. The order was completely incorrect. BJ's restaurant directed us to Postmates for resolution. I communicated with the driver throughout and realized the mistake upon delivery. When I tried to reach out, it seems she blocked me. I recently placed an order for Chipotle through Postmates. My estimated delivery time was 11:20 am, but my food did not arrive until 11:51 am. To my disappointment, when I received my order, the drink from my child's meal was missing, and the food was cold. I believe the driver should have checked the order before leaving, as it was incomplete. Furthermore, I observed the driver on the app driving in the opposite direction of my house on Apple Valley Road, stopping for a while, then turning back towards Chipotle. The driver later messaged me, claiming the GPS led them the wrong way. This was my first time using the food delivery service, and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. Tonight, I believe I fell victim to a scam during a Postmates delivery. I received a phone call from someone named Timothy claiming to be from the Postmates office for security verification. Although I got a text and email confirming his validity, I still had doubts. When I asked for verification, he mentioned details about the delivery I was on, which made me lower my guard. However, when I tried to log back into my account, I noticed my balance was at zero. I suspect that somehow his card details ended up linked to my account, resulting in the loss of my deposit. I've changed my password and left his account number in my account for investigation purposes. I hope Postmates can resolve this quickly so I can eliminate his access and receive any pending tips or payments.

On December 20th, I placed an order with YEES restaurant and paid $19. However, upon arrival, they informed me that there was an $8 discrepancy in the price due to an outdated menu on Postmates. Despite my refusal to pay the extra amount as it was their responsibility to update the menu, they were unable to resolve the issue or offer an alternative. Consequently, I was charged an additional $14 due to their error, and my card was held for $24, preventing me from ordering elsewhere. I believe this charge is unjust as the food had not even been prepared. I am seeking a refund for the erroneous charge.

Hi, I’m Brenda Mejia. I noticed an unauthorized charge of $52.91 on my credit card from Postmates on December 29. I contacted Capital One to dispute the charge, and they have since cancelled my card. This is concerning as I recently experienced the same issue with two fraudulent charges from Postmates just a month ago. I am extremely frustrated! I have been waiting at home for my smoothie for over 30 to 40 minutes. I received a text message saying it was on its way, which was about three minutes ago, and then suddenly it said it had been delivered. The delivery person never contacted me or informed me that they were outside. The app also did not update at all. This is the third or fifth time I've had issues with orders. I want a refund back to my account today, not just a credit. I also want my smoothie. I am very dissatisfied and am posting a negative review right now. I demand to receive the smoothie that was meant for me from the delivery person. I will not be reordering if I have to spend more money. This is the final chance for your service to make this right. The couriers you employ don't seem reliable to me, and this is not the first time such problems have occurred. I will not let this matter go unresolved.

While at Starbucks on Century Blvd in California, I received a call from someone claiming to be from Postmates for verifications due to customer complaints. Unfortunately, after providing information like my name and email, I also shared my password as I had forgotten it. The person offered help in changing it and promised a $15 credit for my time and gas. However, upon checking, my account was empty, and my debit card had been changed to a prepaid card ending in [redacted], which is not mine. Last night, I ordered from Dick's Kitchen using Postmates. My order was missing a whole burger when it arrived, causing inconvenience as I am 7 months pregnant and unable to drive to get a replacement. Postmates mentioned they would investigate the issue but provided limited information on how to reach them. I am disappointed by the lack of a quicker and more effective solution, especially considering the cost of the order. Double-checking orders would prevent such errors in the future.

I'm disappointed with my recent order from Cookout. I purchased 2 hotdog trays, but the hotdogs were undercooked and lacked grill marks. The chili and cheese on my fries were scant, as if just a teaspoon was used. I requested seasoning on the fries, but there was none, and they were cold and hard. The only redeeming item was the fruit punch drink. Despite paying almost $13, the overall quality was poor. I couldn't contact the driver to return the order. I hope to receive a full refund, as this experience has put me off using Postmates again.

I signed up for the Postmate's free trial, expecting to continue at $9.99 per month after it ended. Instead, I was charged almost $96 for a yearly membership without any advance notice via email. I feel this is unjust, especially because my student loan payment is looming in two days. I am in desperate need of assistance as I did not anticipate this large lump sum charge. Today, I ordered two different burgers from IHOP through Postmates. I requested a bacon cheeseburger and an Omelette burger, both well done. Shortly after, I received a call from my Postmate explaining that IHOP was not serving the Omelette burger at that time. I asked the delivery person to get me another bacon burger instead. When the food arrived, I served my son and began to eat mine. Unfortunately, the burger was dry, and upon closer inspection, I realized the hamburger meat was slightly red, which made me feel unwell. This was surprising and disappointing as I usually enjoy IHOP but this experience left me upset and feeling ill.

On December 30, [redacted], I placed an order via Postmates. I was informed that the order had been delivered to my girlfriend, but she never received it. As she is a diabetic, I had to leave work urgently to bring her food. When I raised the problem, I was advised about push notifications and text messages, yet I only received a message stating the order was delivered. Despite not getting my order and not being notified of any issue, I was still charged. I feel like I've been taken advantage of and dismissed. I placed my order at 6:41 pm and received a confirmation, but the delivery was constantly delayed. When I called the restaurant, they informed me my food had been ready for 30 minutes but was not picked up. Postmates then texted me at 7:45 pm stating they were no longer available. Despite filing a complaint, I had to drive to the restaurant to get my cold, melted food and pay again. The cancellation email stated I would receive credit for future orders on my Postmates account, which I find unacceptable. After waiting 1 1/2 hours and facing these issues, I no longer wish to use this service. I insist on a refund to my bank account instead of a Postmates credit. If I do not receive the refund by Wednesday, I will escalate the matter by involving my bank and contacting the BBB.

I am a Postmates worker and I am currently unable to cash out on the app. Every time I try to use the cash out function, I am asked to confirm my banking information, but there is no option available to do so. Additionally, I received an email stating that a debit card was added to my account without my knowledge, and I am unable to remove it. Despite contacting support via email, I have not received a helpful response. This situation is preventing me from receiving payouts for my deliveries. I recently picked up an order from 7/11 but encountered issues afterwards. A guy claimed it was his order after I had driven ten minutes to reach the merchant. The pickup bonus was $5.00, and the customer was Cheryl S. Upon trying to complete the pickup, I realized it wasn't working. When I attempted to contact the customer, the number provided was invalid. Seeking support led to me being logged out, and the order disappeared without me getting paid. Despite reaching out via email to Postmates, I didn't receive any assistance. As a single mother who is also pregnant, I rely on this income and it's essential to get paid for the time spent on deliveries. It's frustrating that Postmates can reach out about issues on our end but not offer support when we encounter problems due to issues on their end. This lack of communication and support is unfair to drivers like me.

My app displays incorrect information about restaurant openings near me. Although Burger King is shown as closed, the one near me is open until 6 AM. Additionally, Jack in the Box was indicated as open until 12:30 AM, but upon placing an order, the delivery time was scheduled for 7 AM, causing confusion. I am unsure if the issue lies with a lack of available drivers. Notification beforehand would have been helpful rather than after placing an order and providing payment details. The app's assessment of available delivery options nearby seems inaccurate, as there are open establishments in my vicinity. Living on base limits my delivery choices, and this experience has been frustrating. Previous daytime orders with Postmates were smooth, making this current inconvenience unexpected. Postmates is not a budget service, but I have paid for the convenience it promises. Unless there are valid reasons for these difficulties, I may consider switching to a different delivery service in the future.

My name is Taryn Bowman. Recently, my Navy Federal account has been showing notifications for suspicious charges amounting to $95.88 from Postmates, although I have not made any such purchase. Given my location and spending history, this charge is clearly a mistake. I have informed my bank about this error and requested a refund promptly.
