I signed up for a trial of *-days free delivery and ordered a total of $**.** worth of food. As I tried placing my order, the app froze and didn't tell me that my order was successfully put through. I ended up restarting my phone completely and reordering but this time without the free delivery which turned out to be a total of $**.**. As I check my bank statements, I see that I have been charged $**.**, $**.**, and $**.** all within the same day when I have only given consent to paying the $**.** worth of food. I have already tried contacting Postmates services about this complaint and misunderstanding and nothing has been done to fix these incorrect charges.
All these extra charges that I did not consent to were taken directly from my band account because I had used my debit card.
I would like the charges that I did not consent to paying to be refunded.
I have been using Postmates for a few years now and I even delivered for them over the summer, but now I'm starting to realize the inefficiency of this service.
I tried contacting Postmates through email and I still have yet to hear a response from them.
