The merchant going by the name of "Busy Bee Cafe and Chester Chicken" is not the real thing. Whoever I ordered food from today is using the genuine article's name to sell their product using you, the Postmates brand, as their unsuspecting middleman distributor. Don't feel bad though cause, honestly, I wouldn't have noticed either if they hadn't messed up my order. And here's where my complaint*story begins..****So when I got the food, I thought I was getting the award-winning fried chicken*soul food that I had read so much about. I was wrong. So after I noticed that the faux restaurant had given me too many thighs and not enough *******, I called the number to the advertised (with emphasis on 'advertised') "Chester's Cafe" to complain. When I did connect to explain what had happened, a very confused employee on the other end informed me that they don't serve an "* piece chicken meal on their menu", which then confused me. So she placed me on a brief hold to explain my complaint to who I surmised to be her manager. When he answered the phone, he had me reiterate my complaint to him. The next red flag occurred during that exchange after he searched through all of the receipts for to-go orders for today and found 'nothing' for Postmates. Afterward, he had me repeat what I ordered to him at which point he informed me that they don't serve "biscuits" nor do they have an "* piece chicken" option. ****So at this point I'm like, "What the f*ck even IS this day and wtf is happening"?! I didn't know whether I was being trolled or what. So I started doing research online to get to the bottom of this. What I discovered was that the "Chester's Chicken" I got came from a gas station located on **** James Jackson Pkwy NW that doubles as a grocer called "Busy Bee" Grocery Store. Not to be confused with the locally famous "Busy Bee Cafe" located on *** M.L.K. Jr. Dr SW. After doing further research I discovered that the food I got is linked directly to the "Chester's International" brand although the shared similarities with its menu offerings (located on their menu for the Postmates app) and appearance (after researching Google Images) would suggest that it may be from "Krispy Krunchy" Chicken--a common gas station chicken establishment. Had I known that I was gonna be paying **** near ** bucks for a gas station chicken restaurant that is fraudulently posing as a much better Soul Food establishment then I would've never placed the order. ****So it looked like we both got conned today and I'm very upset about that. I can't even stomach eating another bite of that food because it's...like..."foreign" to me now. It's not what I wanted...not what I 'thought' I was ordering. I don't know where it came from or who cooked it. All I know is that it came from a gas station...I ate gas station food today...f*cking GAS STATION FOOD. So needless to state, I would like to file this a both an official complaint of false advertisement & fraudulent activity on behalf of the merchant I ordered from and as a request for a full refund. I'm throwing the rest of that **** out or I'm feeding it to my dog. I don't want it...I'll just take my money back please. Thank you for reading through this long-winded complaint but I wasn't gonna let this one ride.*
