Hello, I am a Postmates driver, Ejay Mante. I recently had a delivery at the Cosmopolitan Hotel from Eggslut Restaurant. The pickup was busy with a long line, which I documented with pictures for the customer's understanding. The order took nearly 2 hours, during which I kept the customer updated. I incurred a $7.00 parking fee at the hotel while waiting. Despite the lengthy delivery time, I only received around $5 and some change, including the customer's tip. I would appreciate being reimbursed the $7.00 for the parking fee as the delivery was time-consuming. I hope the Postmates Fleet can understand my situation. Thank you, Ejay Mante. [redacted]

I am requesting a refund for my recent delivery experience. The service was delayed, the Postmate was impolite, and the quality of the food was unacceptable. The milkshake had completely melted, resembling plain milk, and the sandwich was cold. When I went to collect my order, the driver refused to come inside, chatting on his phone outside, resulting in me receiving stale food that was delivered well past the estimated time. Paying $21 for a melted milkshake and cold sandwich, which would have cost less than $10 if I picked it up, is unreasonable, especially considering I live just four blocks away from the store.

I placed an order at Pho 1 yesterday for delivery. The estimated price was $18, but I was charged $25.55, which is significantly higher. I have used Postmates for a while now, even driving for your fleet, and have generally had a good experience. However, this overcharge has left me disappointed. When I attempted to tip the driver, my total came to almost $30, making it clear that the excessive cost was from the restaurant and not the delivery service. A $7 difference is unreasonable. I kindly request a refund or credit for the amount I was overcharged to resolve this issue promptly.

We ordered two iced drinks from Starbucks. When the Postmates delivery driver arrived, she called to let us know that one of our orders was unavailable. We requested a substitute, but she brought the wrong one. Although the app showed she was at the location, we couldn't find her. When she called, she was initially rude about the address mix-up, eventually realizing her mistake. Despite providing directions, she struggled to locate us. Waiting an extra 30 minutes past her supposed arrival time was frustrating. I believe the driver should follow the address given without extra guidance. Delivery services should be straightforward, not require customers to track down drivers and provide detailed instructions. I ended up walking to meet her to resolve the confusion.

I am experiencing an issue where my earnings from Postmates are not being deposited into my bank account. This is the first time this has occurred since I started with Postmates on 7/2/18. I visited my bank to set up a new account and updated my information in the app, but it is not being accepted. Despite deleting and re-downloading the app, the problem persists. I spoke with a customer service representative this morning to report the issue after being unable to pick up an order due to gas issues. They assured me they would escalate this to the payroll department, but I have not received any follow-up. Approximately $[redacted] of my earnings are being withheld, and I am eager to find out why. I have put in a lot of hard work for this money, waking up at 4am, navigating the challenging streets of Chicago tirelessly. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Nora N. and I work as a fleet driver for your company. Lately, I noticed that my account rating has fallen to 4.6. I believe this decrease is unjust considering I have only completed 10 orders, and 3 of these had to be canceled due to the fact that the listed merchants were closed but still appeared as open on the Postmates app. Consequently, I have not been receiving any new orders. I am uncertain if my account has been suspended or terminated. I strongly feel that this situation is either a misunderstanding or a miscalculation within your application. All the deliveries I successfully completed went smoothly, and I even received cash tips from most customers. I am hopeful that this issue can be rectified promptly.

Hello, I am a Postmates driver with almost 2 years of experience. Recently, I encountered an issue with my bank account. It seems to have been deleted from the Fleet app, and despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to add it back. I've reached out via email multiple times but have not received a response. Additionally, on August 28th, I received an email asking me to verify my information to continue receiving payouts. However, I have been unsuccessful in verifying my details as the website keeps displaying an error message. This same error message appears when I try to add a bank account, even though I have filled out all the necessary information and attempted with two different accounts. Could you please address this issue promptly or provide a contact number for further assistance? Thank you.

I placed an order with Postmates for Rosebud Restaurant. The order was picked up, but the driver took an unusually long time to deliver it, despite being only a few minutes away by bike. When I contacted the driver, she mentioned having other deliveries. The restaurant confirmed the order had been picked up long ago, and the driver had not shown up. After communicating with the driver, the map indicated she was far away, not near me. Despite her assurance she was close, she appeared to be making other deliveries elsewhere. I informed her if she didn't arrive within a couple of minutes, I would cancel the order, which I did due to the significant delay. I am requesting a full refund as the delivery took well over half an hour, and the driver seemed to be leaving the area once more. Moving forward, I will withhold tipping drivers until I am confident in the service.

Hello, I'm Alyssa P. I placed an order at Shake Shack in Yonkers, NY around 7:50 PM, expecting my food by 8:25 PM, but unfortunately, there were delays. I contacted the store at 8:35 PM and was informed my order hadn't even left the restaurant. Eventually, a driver named Luis M was assigned, but my food arrived cold at 9:20 PM with someone else in the car. I am disappointed with the service from Postmates, and I am requesting a refund. In the future, I plan to use uberEATS for their reliability. Thank you.

I have a solution for this significant issue as I have faced this problem myself. However, I need more drivers to collaborate. I have noticed many drivers encountering similar challenges on other websites. We need to demonstrate that we have the power and are valuable to them. I possess the support phone number for the merchants, which is a central point for everyone to contact. If they are not addressing our concerns, it's crucial for all of us facing similar issues to reach out and make them aware of our collective problem. I recently tried to order from Taco Bell using Postmates. However, the app showed a lit up picture and background when I selected my order and never informed me that there were no drivers available. It displayed a 40-minute wait time, but no one showed up. After canceling, it claimed I would receive a full refund, yet I was charged $14.70 instead of the expected $10. I contacted my bank and they suggested only a $2 refund was in process, which is unacceptable. I expect a full refund by Tuesday; otherwise, I will dispute the charges. This experience has made me hesitant to use Postmates in the future.

I'm unhappy with the charges on my recent order. Initially, it was supposed to be around $21, but I was charged $33.25 due to an authorization hold. Then, an extra $44 charge appeared for no reason. This brought the total to $77. I want my money back immediately as this is not my error but yours. Waiting 5-7 business days for a refund is not acceptable. I demand a reversal of these charges promptly. I do not care that it's "just" $44; the service provided is abysmal. I will be deleting my account, leaving negative reviews, and taking legal action if necessary. I insist on speaking with a supervisor urgently, so please call me at [redacted]. I recently received an email from Postmates regarding a Low Ratings Warning. I pride myself on being a dedicated driver for your company and always strive to provide excellent service. It's disheartening to receive complaints from customers who initially seem pleased with my service. I make a point to double-check all items with the restaurant staff before delivering orders to ensure accuracy. Customers should understand the challenges we face, such as waiting in line or for food preparation. Postmates may benefit from informing customers about potential delays like traffic or other obstacles. I have devoted my best efforts to my role as a driver, yet it seems that customers are consistently unsatisfied and fail to appreciate our hard work. It would greatly assist drivers if Postmates could provide estimated pick-up and delivery times to help us manage our orders more efficiently.

Good evening, my name is Ghena. I was making a delivery in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, California, this evening. I had a delivery for Jason at [redacted] Cass Street, which I dropped off at [redacted] Kendail Street, apartment #7, around 5:03 p.m. After calling the customer, he asked me to bring it up to his apartment. Despite not knowing which apartment he was in, he began to use inappropriate language towards me, including racial slurs. As an African American, I was deeply disappointed by his behavior. I proceeded to deliver the order to his apartment #7 despite feeling uncomfortable as he was acting aggressively towards me. I am unsure if I should involve the police or report this incident to Postmates. I am currently waiting outside the property, [redacted] feet away, seeking immediate advice. Thank you.

I ordered 2 bowls of loaded baked potato soup but received 2 cups of southwest soup instead. I got charged incorrectly and didn't receive the complimentary bread. The delivery, which was supposed to arrive by 9pm, was delayed until 9pm. When I contacted the driver (A.), she seemed unaware of our order, resulting in a delay and unprofessional service. The restaurant manager (N.) was the only helpful person in this situation. I kindly request Postmates to refund the price difference and consider providing a gift card or discount for our next order. Otherwise, we may have to look for alternative delivery services.

I placed an order at 5:58 this evening with an estimated delivery time of 6:27. By 6:25, the tracker indicated that a driver was picking up my order. It is now 7:10, and my order has not arrived. The tracker keeps delaying the time in two-minute increments, still showing "your order is being picked up." The restaurant informed me they only received the order at 6:37, ten minutes after the estimated delivery time. They mentioned several orders ahead of mine with no drivers arrived. I can't see the driver's photo or name, indicating no driver has been assigned. Our apartment complex gates close after 7 pm, which will restrict access for the driver unless a car lets them in first. I normally enjoy using Postmates, but this experience has been disappointing. I urge you to address this issue promptly. I am frustrated and considering not using your services in the future. Kindly refund the $26 for my undelivered dinner. Thank you.

I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I encountered with my last 2 orders on the Android app. When I selected the "other amount" option for tipping, I noticed that the default tip amount was charged instead. I prefer to set my tip to 0.00 due to financial constraints. I have been a frequent user this past week, always ordering the same items with a zero tip. I kindly request a refund for the tips charged incorrectly on my recent orders. If this problem persists, I might have to switch back to using Doordash. While they may be pricier, their customer service is more accessible. It has been challenging to reach out to Postmates through your app or website, which has prompted me to relay my concerns through an alternative platform. I recently made a purchase but one of my items was missing. Additionally, I discovered that my order was changed by Postmates after speaking with the restaurant. The alteration led to me receiving a more expensive item than what I had originally requested. I am dissatisfied with this situation and request a refund. The total amount on my card when the charge was submitted was $14.44, but the charge increased without explanation due to Postmates switching my order. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. I insist on a resolution; otherwise, I will close my account and cease using Postmates. I believe this incident constitutes fraudulent activity, and I am prepared to escalate the matter to the Better Business Bureau if necessary. Such actions are considered theft and are against the law.
