Help with my Postmates.com issue

Hi my name is Matthew and I just ordered using your app for the first time. Anyway, when I ordered some things through your app, the driver called to inform me that most of the things I ordered were unavailable and he brought me the one thing that was still available, which is fine, however I asked him if the charges for the other items would be dropped and he said yes. So I wasn't aware if there was anything I had to do, to insure that I won't be charged, so I took the liberty of 'attempting' to report the missing items through the app, and also on the website, but neither of them allowed me to submit the issue. So that's why I'm sending this email. So far I like the app, and plan to continue ordering through it, but for future reference, do I have to report to you every time an item is unavailable? Or does the driver do that and the charges are dropped automatically? Thanks so much for your help and have a great day.
