I ordered through the Popeye app. I got to the restaurant and there was a sign on the door for delivery driver only in lobby. So I went to the drive up. Problem one! When in drive up the person told me I was to come into the lobby for pickups. I explained why I went to the drive up. Again I’m sent inside. So I drive to the front of the store walk into the lobby and am told they didn’t get my order, even though I show them my app says my order is complete and will be waiting in the lobby. The woman behind the counter couldn’t care less. She says there is nothing they can do. I can pay full price and wait if I want. No I don’t want but if you’ll give me the order for the same price I’ll wait. Woman behind counter says no can’t do that. So I leave. Sitting in the parking lot I think maybe it’s my error so I send it again. Making sure to do everything perfect. Again it says order complete ready to pick up at counter in lobby. So I go back in. Again they have no order. I try to talk to manager somebody in manager position. I’m told no that she talked to the manager and there’s nothing they can do if the app isn’t working. She offers me nothing for trying to use the popeye app. In fact at this point she acts like why am I giving her a hard time. She can’t do anything! I said let me talk to the manager. Again no! I said if I was the owner and on a Saturday the app isn’t working it will cost me a lot of money. I would want to know about this problem. Woman says, It doesn’t work that way it’s a corporate store. There is no one to call. So I gave up angry about the lack of care about customer service and the effort to use an app that Popeyes wants me to use not working properly according to the woman at Popeyes. *At the least I would expect a free * piece chicken meal since that is what I tried to buy twice. If you have an app that doesn’t work you are better off without one at all since I will now not use it or return to this restaurant. I visited this location once a week and will not return if I do not here some satisfactory reply to this days events. *Back to the original mistake is putting a sign on the lobby door saying the ONLY people allowed to come in are delivery drivers. When I’m told at the drive up that pick up customers such as me are supposed to come into the lobby. *There is no concern for quality customer service at this Popeyes. *Redding CA. On *** east Cypress.
