I have noticed a concerning increase in scammers on the site in the past two weeks. By my count, I've identified six already. If other members are also vigilant, we could collectively uncover thousands more, bearing in mind that scammers may operate multiple profiles. To address this issue, it could be helpful to display a prominent warning banner in red on the sign-in page advising members not to send money to anyone, as this is often the scammers' main objective. In my experience dealing with over [redacted] scammers in the past, they tend to target individuals who may be feeling particularly isolated or lonely.

I've been struggling to access my account despite trying multiple passwords and changing them numerous times. Every time I enter a new password, it loops me back to the login screen asking to re-enter my details. The issue has persisted for three days and happened last week too. After receiving an email about my password query, I replied expressing my dissatisfaction with the situation. The response mentioned not knowing my password, however, I am confident that I am using the correct one. If there are any restrictions on my account, please clarify or resolve the technical issue promptly.

Hello, Why was my account blocked? I have not violated any rules of your computer policy, but it seems you are forcing me to interact with men against my will and you do not accept that I can block men. Some of them are fake profiles known on Badoo or Adopte as scammers from Ivory Coast, Cameroon, or Angola. Are you working with them? You have blocked me without reason, and I demand that you read all my conversations. I replied politely that I was not interested in this type of men. If no changes are made regarding me, I want you to know that I have copied all my conversations and will post them on Instagram and Twitter. I will explain to people your practices of forcing women to interact with scammers.

I joined POS a few months ago and am seeking a refund. In the first month, I encountered multiple individuals. One individual was patronizing towards me after expressing my dislike for President Trump. Their response was extremely offensive, accusing me of being a Nazi. Despite my complaint, the individual remained on POS. Additionally, I encountered scammers during this time that were not addressed. I was unknowingly billed for the next month after my trial ended. Unfortunately, the recent individuals sent to me by Plenty of Fish are also scammers; this was verified through a background check service. Therefore, I advise against using this platform.

I am a reputable school teacher with morals and no criminal history nationwide. I do not use profane language or engage in behaviors that violate community standards or hurt anyone. Several months ago, I pressed on my POF app and found that I was not automatically logged in, leading me to create a new account. Within a couple of weeks, when I tried to log into the new account, I was informed that my account had been permanently deactivated for violating community standards. I firmly believe that my account may have been hacked as I am a very reputable individual. I am certain that I have done nothing wrong. I seek assistance in starting a new account as someone might have gained unauthorized access to my account. The phone number linked to my account is [redacted]. My name is Carol Ann Gauthier. I recently discovered I have been banned from viewing the video stream. I have only briefly checked it out but have never engaged in any misconduct. Additionally, my conversations seem to be getting locked frequently. Some time ago, I had issues with my photos. As a Pentecostal Christian, such behavior goes against my principles. I inadvertently did not log out of my account, but this morning, I found myself logged out without my doing. Despite not altering my password or username, I am unable to access my messages due to an "incorrect username or password" prompt. I upgraded my account last Friday and enjoyed uninterrupted use throughout the weekend. I am concerned I may have been hacked. I kindly request an investigation into this matter. If unable to determine a resolution, I would appreciate a full refund.

Hello, I'm Terence Gibson from Dearborn Heights, MI. I've been using the POF Dating site for around 5 years with the profile name TerryG03. Recently, I discovered that my account has been hacked. I noticed this on Feb 10th, [redacted], when I tried to view my profile and saw another man's picture from Dallas, Texas, and a different profile message. I then received a message saying I was removed from the site due to inappropriate behavior and messaging, which was not by me. I am concerned about the accusations and legal consequences of something I did not do. Is there a way for me to regain access to my account and clear my name of these allegations? I've encountered an issue where my profile was deleted three times using the usernames Arborist226 and Arborist11 in Hagerstown, MD [redacted]. I am unsure why this happened as I have not engaged in spamming and my messages were brief. The first one read, "I won't buy a black coffee and drive away," and the second asked about music preferences. All uploaded photos are in line with guidelines, featuring clear headshots of myself without any inappropriate content or language. I am confused by this situation as no explanation was provided. I have been unable to access my POF account for over 6 months due to a small issue. The system wanted me to verify an old phone number I can't remember. Even though I entered the correct password, it required a second verification. My profile name is "cellas1990," and I have a new phone number, [redacted], that I want to update on my account. I received an email notifying me that my account was updated, but now I am unable to access my POF account. I attempted to reset my password, but did not receive a response email. I have contacted POF for assistance but have not received a reply. I have not changed my username or password, so I am unsure why I cannot log in and see the messages I have. I deleted my Plenty of Fish account some time ago and asked for a refund on my six-month subscription. Initially, I had issues accessing features like seeing my likes without upgrading. After upgrading to a one-month subscription, I still couldn't access all the features, so I upgraded to a six-month subscription as an elite member. However, even then, I experienced difficulty accessing the promised features. I have not received a refund within the 30-day period before changing my mind. I have already contacted Apple to request a refund. Please reach me at [redacted]. I am seeking a refund for the amount as I was unable to utilize the service.

I visited POF with the hope of finding a friend or a potential companion, but instead, I encountered someone who scammed me out of approximately $[redacted],[redacted]. This individual, known as RUBINATOR in August [redacted] and February [redacted], was a 50-year-old from Ackley, Iowa. During our conversations, he made threats against me and my children, warning me not to involve the authorities or face consequences. Subsequently, I noticed that the same person and pictures resurfaced on your platform in April [redacted] under the username HEARTOFKER, claiming to be 56 years old from Rhodes, Iowa. In May [redacted], he appeared again as FLYNBYU1699, a 52-year-old from Des Moines, before reappearing today as HERRYLUV51926, now 57 years old from Iowa City. Despite my numerous reports requesting the removal of this individual, he continues to resurface on your site. I managed to contact the person whose pictures were stolen, and he has involved law enforcement. It is baffling to me how your platform allows someone like this to operate freely, victimizing multiple women and stealing identities. His actions have caused financial harm and damage to our credit scores. This oversight by your site is inexcusable, as this man continues to perpetrate his deceitful schemes unchecked.

I encountered an issue when trying to access the chat feature on the service. A member said she was a talk show host on the chat part of POF. A form prompted me to enter my card number for verification, assuring no charges would apply. I felt hesitant as parts of the form were hidden, so I only partially filled it out. Unfortunately, I ended up inadvertently subscribing to a porn site with a $39.99 charge on my card. They used a fictitious address without my consent. Even though I don't think POF was directly involved, this happened on their site. I suspect two users were collaborating. I have all the necessary information and I plan to press charges through the bank.

I am having difficulty accessing the site because of the requirement to verify my account with a mobile phone. I do not have a cell phone, only a landline at home ([redacted]). I've been unable to access my profile under PiscesPrincessNY for the past two weeks, despite changing my password multiple times as advised by several representatives. After my account was deleted, I attempted to create a new one but encountered the same issue multiple times. Furthermore, I am unable to upload photos. I would like my old account to be reactivated as I'm frustrated with these ongoing issues with POF. It's frustrating not being able to speak to a live person for assistance, so I'm unsure how to proceed.

I am frustrated with this site. I paid for a 3-month premium subscription, but last night it made me sign up again and pay for it once more, even though I've only been using it for about three and a half weeks. I cannot find any way to contact the administrator to address this issue. I demand a refund for the difference or I will report this to the Better Business Bureau.

I recently created a profile on POF, but I would like to delete my account completely and remove all of my information. The idea that you and your partners are interested in tracking me is concerning. Privacy invasion seems to be too common nowadays, and it's something that I strongly oppose. Please, do not track me. I want my account closed on your website. I hope my request to have my account deleted is clear enough. I do not wish to be monitored like "big brother" or any other nosy individual who intrudes on people's lives without permission. Thank you.

I used to enjoy using your website. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it to any women considering joining POF. The platform seems to have many con artists and men who behave rudely and harass women who reject them. I personally experienced someone creating a new profile to continue harassing me even after I reported them. Despite my report, no action was taken, and the individual was still online bothering me. This experience led me to leave the site, and I doubt I will return. I am concerned for the safety of women interacting with men on POF, and I am considering reaching out to the government to address what seems to be a lack of regulations regarding user behavior on your platform. It feels like the focus is more on gaining members and money than ensuring user safety.
