I want to clarify that my choices are based on logistics and not discriminatory in nature. I ensure that my profile pictures are genuine and recent, including a modest image taken in my bathroom that was inexplicably deleted. I am puzzled as to why my authentic account, complete with a detailed profile expressing my intentions of meaningful connections rather than casual encounters, has been impacted without justification.

My name is Sarah McRann and I had a profile on POF last year under the name "r u a countryman." I am currently facing severe fraudulent and illegal activities. My rental property in Vernon was set up with illegal recordings, hacked into, and stolen items were used for profit through unauthorized advertising and productions. I experienced illegal entry from my landlord, a friend, her daughter, and someone else, leading to further illegal actions by the community against me and my family without any signed contracts or legal permissions. My dating profiles on sites like Match, POF, and Zoosk were hacked and exploited for profit. There has been identity theft using stolen materials. The Vernon police have been unhelpful and corrupt, especially regarding business defamation and theft by my landlord. I've faced hacking on Facebook and threats from my children's father due to his lies. I have documented my movements as a response to the corruption and fraud in BC, which has made it difficult to seek help. The situation is unfair, as it involves theft, fraud, and harm to a woman's income source and her children.

I suspect my account was hacked. My username is BeatlesNBluegrass1950. Last week, I filled out a form for help regarding this issue with what I thought was the Plenty of Fish customer service called "Support" online. I received a ticket number. However, when I followed up today because I hadn't received any response, I got an email with the same ticket number, but it wasn't mentioned in the subject line. I fear I may have unintentionally provided information to the hacker about my hacking problem since I couldn't find a response. A friend attempted to contact me on my account last week at my request, but I didn't get the message, and I didn't respond. I am a premium member. Sincerely, Karen N. I am attempting to reactivate my previous account linked to an old email address. My profile got hacked again, which has happened before. I contacted POF, and they said the account was deleted due to being compromised. I created a new account 24 hours ago, but POF seems to have deleted it now. It's frustrating because I was chatting with someone on there and hadn't exchanged details.

I have followed the registration process step by step on the app. I am currently facing an issue at the 'upload photo' section. After clicking on the camera icon to add the first of 6 photos, the file browser window opens correctly. However, after selecting the image and cropping it, the image doesn't load into any of the spaces. It just shows 6 empty boxes and won't let me proceed without adding a photo. I really hope this issue can be resolved without losing the information I have already entered. My registered email address is [redacted], and the verification code sent by text is £20.

I signed up for an account on your website and agreed to a one-time payment of $19.95 for the premium service. I received notifications about someone updating my profile at 1am, which I did not do. I started getting numerous notifications and found out that the password had been changed, locking me out of my account. I attempted to reset the password, but I couldn't complete the process. This has left me feeling very distressed, especially since I have a subscription. In addition, while trying to join a live chat, the person I was speaking to sent me a suspicious link that led to me unknowingly signing up for a questionable dating site which deducted $55 from my account. I am disappointed by the lack of response from POF regarding my account situation and hope they address these issues promptly.

I recently upgraded to include additional features, but I no longer wish to renew these extras. I am unsure of the exact date when I initiated this upgrade as my account was free until I added these extras. Can you please provide me with this information? Additionally, if I have been charged for another 2-3 months recently, could I request a credit back to my credit card? My preference is to remain on the website with just the free features and without the added extras. Thank you for your assistance.

This morning, I tried to log into my Plenty of Fish account. I logged in last night, and I'm an upgraded member. I haven't altered my email address, password, or cell phone number. Despite numerous attempts, I'm not receiving the password reset email. My phone number is [redacted], and I've used it several times for verification. My subscription is active until the new year. I signed up for Plenty of Fish earlier this month thinking it was a free app, but soon realized I needed a subscription to access more features. I paid for 8 monthly payments around 8 pounds each, totaling a larger sum that was taken out all at once. I assume they do this because many users delete their accounts quickly. I encountered numerous fake accounts and gave up using the app after less than a month. I would like a partial refund since I haven't used the full nine months I've already paid for. Thank you.

On December 8th at 7 PM CST, I received an email saying my POF account was upgraded to a paid account. Within 2 minutes, the upgraded features disappeared, and I was locked out of my account. Despite multiple attempts to reset my password, I did not receive a reset link. I emailed [redacted] on December 8th describing the issue. On December 9th, a POF agent replied, stating the problem was solved, but I never logged in. I still could not reset my password as I never received the reset link. I suspect the hacker might have redirected my email. I am looking to reset my password and delete my account.

I have attempted four times since last year to cancel a POF subscription that I have not utilized in at least 2 years. Despite following the cancellation steps on your website and sending a cancellation letter to your Dallas PO Box, I have been continuously charged. None of the phone numbers provided work. I have reported this to the Department of Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau due to the ongoing charges. I am planning to dispute these charges with my bank since I haven't used your services in a significant amount of time. I will be requesting that these charges be refunded, and if necessary, I will seek legal assistance to resolve this cancellation issue with your company.

I would appreciate it if you could remove the annoying "Upgrade Now" pop-ups that hinder my experience on the site when trying to view profiles. The limitation on viewing prospects by blurring them out makes the platform discouraging. Lately, I've been struggling to find suitable matches as the selections I receive are far off from my preferences. The distance of the matches is often not within my specified range due to limited options available. Additionally, some profiles seem questionable. I hope these issues with the pop-ups and restricted viewing can be addressed to improve the overall site experience. I was chatting with someone who shared a link to a service called Livetalk, apparently linked to my POF subscription. I began filling out the information but paused when asked for my credit card details again. Soon after, I received a verification text from POF, alerting me to potential issues. I hurried to reset my password, yet now I cannot access my account due to the changed phone number and the two-step verification process.

I am requesting a refund for my subscription to your service. I tried using it for a few days but did not enjoy the user experience on both the website and the app. I was comparing it to other services I have used in the past, such as Meetic and Tinder. I am from Spain and am aware of my right to a refund within 14 days of purchase. I have tested POF for approximately 7 days. Kindly process the refund for my subscription and return the funds to me. I had a conversation with someone on your site last Monday. We agreed to switch to phone communication. When I returned a few hours later, his profile had disappeared from my conversation list. After extensive searching, I managed to find his profile again. However, now when I attempt to message him, it shows that he is not accepting messages, which I know is not accurate. Yesterday, the same situation occurred with another individual. Those I am not interested in are still visible, while only the ones I have communicated with are being removed. I'm feeling quite confused as I believed I had deleted my Plenty of Fish account. Admittedly, I have logged in a few times since then, and unknowingly resubscribed my account. Currently, I am facing issues logging in, and I am eager to permanently delete my POF profile. If possible, receiving a refund would greatly benefit me as I am unable to afford spending $39 and any additional charges on this at the moment. If a refund isn't possible, kindly cancel my subscription and delete my account, please.
