I suddenly found myself locked out of my POF account. Despite trying to log back in with my password, it was not recognized. I've requested a new password multiple times but have not received any emails. I have checked my spam folder and my settings to ensure no email addresses are blocked. I reached out to POF customer service a week ago but have not received a response. Can someone assist me with this issue? Thank you. Shirley R.

I am receiving messages indicating that my information is incorrect. Since signing up with Plenty of Fish, I have had it set to automatically sign me in and have not made any changes. I have tried several times to retrieve my password but have not received any email responses. I consistently receive emails notifying me of messages, but when I click on the link, it no longer logs me in. I would appreciate prompt assistance with this matter. Thank you, C. Douglas ([redacted]). My username is funkme47.

My account has been compromised. I have been receiving messages despite deactivating my account months ago. Upon checking, I noticed that messages were sent from my account, but I did not send them. A person I was in contact with saw different profile pictures upon revisiting. Other similar incidents have occurred, and I need this matter resolved promptly. I am currently using an alternate email. Login attempts to my account are unsuccessful as the password seems to have been changed by the unauthorized user.

This morning, I visited your site for the first time and found it satisfactory. I exchanged messages, which was nice. Later, upon my return from the grocery store, I messaged a lady for her thoughts on the site. Her response about scammers prompted me to reply in jest about being offered used panties – just sarcasm, not intended to offend or break any rules. Having experience with various dating sites, I encounter scammers often, so the joke was in that context. Strangely, I got disconnected while using the site and couldn't log back in despite correct credentials. I attempted to reset my password, but no reset email arrived after multiple tries. If my joke got me kicked out, I apologize sincerely. It was meant in humor, not insensitivity. What should I do next?

I am Justin N., born on 12/22/[redacted]. My account was hacked, and the email associated with it might have been changed around October 9, [redacted]. I received an email about a profile change that I did not make, and when I try to reset the password, I do not get an email with the reset link, indicating the email may have been altered. I also noticed that a female's pictures are now on my profile, and unauthorized charges on my debit card from Plenty of Fish have occurred. Please assist me in recovering my account, removing the debit card, and preventing further fraudulent charges. Thank you for your help.

I need to delete two email addresses associated with separate accounts on Plenty of Fish, as they have been taken over and the passwords changed by someone else. Please assist in deleting the accounts linked to the following email addresses: [redacted] and [redacted] You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. If additional information is required to complete the deletion process, please contact me directly. Thank you. - Mary Beth

Dear Sir or Madame, I have been receiving emails from POF stating examples like the one I received yesterday: "Merav wants to Meet You. Merav likes what they see and wants to meet you! Why not send them a message?" Upon clicking the link, I am presented with a long list showing individuals who want to meet me, none of whom is Merav. This consistent issue occurs each time I receive such a message and click on the link. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter, as it detracts from the usefulness of your service. I am seeking a refund of my fee due to this ongoing problem, but I would prefer to continue using the service if this issue can be rectified promptly. Please address this issue promptly so that individuals trying to contact me can do so accurately. Despite receiving several messages daily, I have yet to connect with the intended individual to respond to them. My account name is "LifeIsEnthusiasm" or simply "Glenn." Thank you, Glenn H.

Dear Customer Service, I have been receiving emails from POF, for example, one from yesterday that says: "Merav wants to Meet You Merav likes what they see, and wants to meet you! Why not send them a message?" However, whenever I click on the link, I am presented with a long list of people who want to meet me, none of which is Merav. This issue happens every time I click on such a message. I am requesting a refund of my fee due to this problem unless it can be resolved. I would like to continue using the service if possible. Please fix the way someone trying to contact me is presented so I can reply to them. I receive multiple messages like this daily but never get to see the individuals and respond to them. My account name is "LifeIsEnthusiasm" or simply "Glenn." Email: [redacted] Thank you, Glenn H.

I am experiencing difficulties activating call features on my phone. I am confused as to why I need to input my card details again. I have already paid for a 4-month membership at £51. When I attempted to activate a feature using a promo code, I was prompted to enter my card information. However, the transaction was declined, and my bank flagged it as suspicious, leading to my card being blocked. Can't you simply activate the feature as part of my membership? If not, I would appreciate a refund. I was eager to video call a woman who showed interest, but I am unable to do so without the feature. I had hoped for more assistance by now. Kindly either activate the features or proceed with the refund. I await your response. Thank you, Kevin Westlake, also known as KevNinja.

Subject: Account Hacked and Profile Altered - Need Assistance To the POF dating site team, I am writing to bring to your attention an urgent matter regarding my POF account. My name is Katherine Antillon, known on the site as asamkat1. Recently, my account was compromised by an unknown individual who made unauthorized changes to my profile, including photos and personal information that do not belong to me. Despite correcting some details, I discovered that I was unable to log in as my password was no longer recognized. My attempts to reset my password have been unsuccessful as I have not received any reset emails on my associated accounts. I have been a loyal member of Plenty of Fish for many years and am distressed by this security breach. I urge you to investigate this matter promptly and provide me with updates on the resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Katherine (Kat)

I have been receiving emails from your company stating that individuals are interested in connecting with me, but upon checking, they are not even listed as viewing my profile. This seems dishonest and misleading. When attempting to unsubscribe, I am led to a login page that is inaccessible, creating a frustrating loop. The lack of a working contact number adds to the suspicion. I have never come across such a deceptive and ineffective service. Kindly cease all communications with me immediately.

I encountered a problem while trying to use the Plenty of Fish app after creating an account on Sunday night. Despite entering the correct login credentials, the app kept loading without success. I attempted to log out and back in, but the system indicated my credentials were incorrect. Yesterday, I went through the account creation process again, but the same issue persisted. It's frustrating not being able to access my account and unsure if my pictures and information are visible. I hope Plenty of Fish can address this issue promptly, either by resolving the login problem, clarifying if I have duplicate accounts, or providing better customer support.

I recently encountered a scam attempt. Someone posing as a Church Missionary worker, claiming to be deaf, reached out to me on a dating platform. Initially, she seemed interested in me, but then things took a suspicious turn. She asked for my username and password under the guise of needing to verify that I had left the site. When I refused, she insisted we switch to WhatsApp. Eventually, she requested that I buy her a gift card for video games. Realizing it was a scam, I cut off all contact with her. Her username on POF is likely keepitsimple62, and she operates from Florida. It's clear now that everything she told me was likely false.

I wanted to share some concerns about match.com. They are currently facing a lawsuit due to allegedly sending fake profiles to single men and requiring an upgrade to a premium service to contact them. I prefer using Plenty of Fish since it has remained free. Lately, I have received multiple emails indicating interest from women in my area, but they all only accept messages from upgraded users. It's suspicious that their location is vague, like 1 mile away or 10 miles away. These profiles seem to be fake, aiming to prompt users to upgrade for contact. I am considering legal action and have documented the issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Paul C. from Desert Hot Springs, CA. [Redacted], [redacted].

Good morning, I am a 47-year-old male user of POF with the username Spoyles and a paid account. Unfortunately, my account was hacked last night. My photos were deleted, and three pictures of a female were added. The about section and all my information were changed. Waking up to over 10 messages from men was distressing. I tried to log in on my computer but was unsuccessful, and the password reset emails did not come through. Eventually, I received notifications about the account payment being canceled and $85 refunded to me. Before being logged out, I managed to upload new pictures and update my profile on the mobile app. However, my account is now inaccessible, and despite numerous attempts to reset the password, I haven't received any reset emails.

I have been using Pof for several years without any problems until now. I suspect my account has been compromised or Pof is experiencing technical difficulties. Despite logging in regularly with the same credentials, today I received an error message stating my password was incorrect. After multiple failed login attempts, I tried to reset my password but did not receive the email link. Although I continue to receive notifications of messages on Pof, I am unable to access my account. I wonder if there is a security breach on Pof or if this is a technical glitch. I am frustrated with the lack of assistance from the help center. I hope this issue can be resolved soon. Thank you for your help. My login ID is my email address.

I terminated my account last October, just days after being charged for another year. I was informed by my bank of fraudulent activity linked to Plenty of Fish attempting to charge my account. Despite canceling a year ago, the charge resurfaced. They said I could continue using the account until expiration but wouldn't cancel on the specified date. I do not wish to retain the service or endure added charges. Contacting Plenty of Fish has proved challenging as listed numbers are unresponsive. Seeking guidance on this matter.

My account was hacked, and all IDs were changed. I couldn't access my account or profile at all. Resetting my password using my email was impossible as it had been altered. After exchanging about 30 emails, mostly automated replies, finally received an email from Paypal about a refund. For anyone facing this issue, my advice is to keep persisting by sending multiple emails (save them in a text file for easy access) or continuously forwarding the same message thread whenever you get a reply. Scrutinize replies carefully, as genuine ones might appear initially. Despite the frustration, remember to specify the problem clearly. Reflecting on the experience, it seems comical now. Consider using PayPal for transactions instead of a card or decide if the hassle is worth it.

I am experiencing an issue with my Plenty of Fish account under the username MackB1. I was unexpectedly blocked and asked to verify a mobile phone number, but I do not own a mobile phone. I find this requirement discriminatory as I clearly state in my profile that I do not have one. I assure you I am not a spambot. The lack of activity on my account is due to the absence of suitable matches. Kindly delete my account and send a confirmation email to the address provided. If no response is received within 28 days, I will seek legal advice. Thank you.

Please note, I value civility and politeness in all interactions. If I reach out to you and receive no response, I interpret it as a decline and will not pursue further contact. I want to clarify that I am not interested in anyone's financial assets. I have a strong educational background and a passion for art, both creating and admiring others' work. My interests extend to philosophy, literature, history, and achieving personal goals for contentment. Music is a significant love of mine, encompassing blues, jazz, Indian Classical (excluding Bollywood), European classical, and good old rock and roll. I also have an appreciation for comedic geniuses like Gary Larson, Richard Pryor, and Margaret Cho. Humor, in my opinion, holds great healing power. I'm facing difficulty with my profile on POF as they find it humorous and are not approving it. Kindly reconsider and allow my profile to be active on POF.
