I recently interacted with a woman who goes by the name Blueberry on a dating site based in Lithonia, Georgia. She suggested a video chat and provided a link, but upon visiting the website www.POF-addvideo.com, I encountered a registration process that asked for a username, password, and payment details for a free trial or monthly membership. After attempting to sign up with both my credit and debit cards, both were rejected. When I tried to reach Blueberry again, she was no longer online on the dating site, which made me suspicious of the legitimacy of the website. I am concerned that my card information might be compromised. I have not noticed any unauthorized transactions yet, but I am unsure of the next steps to take in this situation.

I recently encountered someone claiming to be Allison Dylon. Upon my hairdresser's advice, I requested a copy of her driver's license. I received a California state ID with blacked-out details, hastily altered. The ID listed her hair color as black and weight as [redacted] pounds, which seemed inconsistent with her described height of 5 foot 5. I wish to cancel my membership promptly and request the removal of this individual from the website, seeking confirmation of this action. Additionally, I am curious if your platform includes video chatting services.

I want to report a user named goatlamb (Michael Barrett) who should be prohibited from using your platform. I encountered Michael online about three weeks ago, and it has been a nightmare ever since. Michael has a felony warrant for stalking and will face a restraining order upon his capture. I am fearful of him. Due to his threats and disturbing emails to my workplace, my company closed our satellite office, impacting myself and 10 other coworkers. Please take action to remove Michael from your site as he poses a significant risk due to his instability. The Sheriff's department handling his case is in El Dorado County, California. Thank you.

I received a message from a woman named Sinaj on your dating site, POF. She claims to be from Toronto and told me a story about her friend seeing my profile while she was deleting her account. This same storyline has been used on me three times by different female POF members. Sinaj even gave me her friend's name as Adele and an email address [redacted] to contact. It seems like a scam to get men to send money. I wanted to report this to you and ask to keep an eye out for that email address being used for any profiles. Thank you, Gil Gilbert.

It seems evident that POF's customer service is lacking efficiency and effectiveness based on numerous complaints. I have experienced four days of poor service without resolving the issue of setting up and using a POF account within the community. The latest problem arises during the account setup process where there is an error with the username setup. Additionally, there is a failure to verify the account using a phone number as it keeps returning an invalid number error. POF has even gone as far as blocking my user ID and phone number, preventing me from creating a POF account. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by POF.

I wanted to share with you my experience with an individual named Dave Patrick or Partick who claims to be in the military in Africa. Before knowing this, I engaged in conversation with him. He attempted to convince me to send him money. I suspect the photos he shared are not authentic or have been misused for fraudulent activities. I researched financial procedures in the military, and it's clear they receive appropriate assistance. Could you please ensure proper screening of your customers?

Hello, I recently upgraded my membership to be able to send messages to people I want to chat with. However, my messages are not going through to some individuals. Even though their profiles indicate that I haven't messaged them, I am sure that I have. I am frustrated that I am paying for a service but not receiving the full benefits of being able to communicate with others. Can someone please assist me with this issue or provide a refund? I recently reached out regarding my upgraded membership. I have experienced issues with some messages not being delivered to certain users, and they are not receiving them. My email is [redacted] As an upgraded member, I expect to send messages without any hindrances. If I can't communicate with all the people I'm interested in, what's the benefit of being upgraded? Although I haven't been active for the past two years, I am now unable to access my account. I suspect it has been hacked as I am unable to log in. I have reported user "uknowanopp." I dated him from October to December [redacted], and his name is Marc Chalifoux. He is not single, and I have spoken at length with his girlfriend. He lied extensively from the moment we started talking and failed to disclose an STD he transmitted to me. In November, he either deleted or hid his profile, but I noticed yesterday that he is back online with the same profile. Please contact me to verify that you will not permit individuals like him to deceive other women and spread infections.

I am writing to report that $19.95 was erroneously charged to my card. I had signed up for a one-month trial and called to cancel before it ended. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties with customer service who attempted to push me into buying prepaid cards. The charge was made on 8/14/[redacted]. I only intended to try the service for one month at $19.95. However, my experience was disappointing as the individuals I interacted with were untruthful and pressured me to engage in video chats. I'd like to report an individual named Keith Mark Roy, who reached out to me via email at [redacted] He suggested we move our conversation from POF to Hangouts for quicker communication, claiming to be a Construction expert residing in Mt. Juliet, TN. Despite never meeting him in person, he always seemed too busy. He avoided video calls, citing a broken phone screen. I insisted on meeting, but he mentioned going on a business trip to South Africa to secure a construction contract. He emailed me a ticket with his name on it to prove his travel plans. While on his trip, he informed me that he lost crucial documents due to phone issues and requested $[redacted] to be sent to a person named Robert J Phillips in Louisiana through Wells Fargo. When I declined, he asked to transfer money into my account to help him out, revealing his intentions. Realizing his true motives, I blocked him on both email and Hangouts to protect others. I can't recall his POF username (I was 21plove), but I feel it's important to share my experience to prevent others from falling victim to his schemes.

It became concerning when a friend informed me that someone, posing as me with the name "Laura," was messaging users from my account without changing any profile details. After reporting the account as fraudulent, I reached out to POF twice for help, but haven't received any assistance or responses yet. I urgently need to resolve this issue.

I've set up a profile on POF with the following details: Username: IvanHercules Email: [redacted] I had no issues creating the profile or verifying my email. However, when trying to log in, I keep getting an "incorrect username or password" message. I've tried both my username and email but with no luck. When I click on "Forgot Password," it asks for my email for a reset but I never receive the email. Additional Info: 1 - I get notifications from interested users. 2 - A friend mentioned my profile is visible. 3 - I'm entering my case-sensitive password correctly. Queries: 1 - Why is my correct password not working? 2 - How come I don't receive the password reset email? 3 - What's the solution for this issue?

I recently joined this dating site, my first ever, and have encountered two unsettling experiences. Two men, one from the site and one connected through a friend (against site rules), have reached out to me. After researching warning signs of scams or catfishing, both interactions showed at least 6 red flags. I am not reporting them individually, but please monitor my communications if possible.
