I am looking for assistance regarding a concerning situation on a friend's profile on POF. My friend's username is halfaduo, residing in Colchester, Essex, England. Several members have informed me that my profile is still visible with my photo on his page. Despite my friend confirming he hasn't blocked me, I am unable to message him as I keep receiving a notification stating I have been blocked. This has caused confusion as we are currently in a relationship. I would appreciate any clarification on why this is happening and what steps can be taken to resolve this issue. I used to receive emails about matches and messages up until Tuesday, May 15, [redacted], at my email address [redacted] for User ID Viiollo143. When I tried to access the app on Friday, it had logged me out and I couldn't sign in as it said the information was incorrect. Even after trying to reset my password, I didn't receive the link, and it's not in my junk or spam folders. I have emailed Customer Service and was informed that my email is not associated with an account. However, I am confused because I was still receiving emails until Tuesday. I have not changed my email or deleted the account. I even tried to register a new account with the same email and user name. Was my original account deleted? If so, why? I never received any notice regarding this and was using my account without any issues until Tuesday.

I've been having trouble accessing my account for the last eight hours. I was in the middle of responding to a message I got this morning around 8:54 when suddenly I got locked out. I believe my account may have been hacked because I haven't broken any of your rules. I'd appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and restore my access as soon as possible. I recently joined POF and had a concerning experience with another user. They requested my email for a video call but it turned out to be suspicious. Now, I'm locked out of my POF account and not receiving password reset emails. Oddly, I keep getting notifications and suspect someone is using my account. I am having issues registering on the PoF website. Every time I try to create a username following the specified requirements, I keep receiving an error message in red stating that my username is not acceptable, even though I am inputting only letters, numbers, and certain characters as instructed. I have tried several different options like Mkimberley2589, noname1234_, kimberleytha128, thomley30, and mthomley2589, but none seem to be working. I am getting frustrated with this situation. I have noticed unauthorized charges of $19.98 on my account for the past five months, twice on January 1st. One payment was reversed, but I am still owed $19.99 by five. I had authorized a higher fee monthly since December 1st, [redacted]. I am requesting a refund for this fraudulent activity by 5 pm today, or I will take legal action. I am prepared to involve authorities as well as pursue civil and criminal charges against the company. I am well-informed about the relevant laws and regulations at the state and federal level. I signed up for a one-month trial of POF. However, within two weeks, I was bombarded with inappropriate messages and requests. I want a clear breakdown of the charges on my account and steps to resolve this issue. I received a suspicious link for a questionnaire promising a refund, which seemed questionable. If this continues, I will seek legal advice as I have lawyer friends who can assist me. It seems like many others are facing similar issues of being charged for additional months unfairly. I signed up for POF on May 20, [redacted]. After receiving messages and replying on May 21, I encountered login issues with my correct username and password. Despite attempted password resets with my email, I never received any reset emails. My username is Trisha1956, email is [redacted], and the account is under Patricia Bowes. Hello POF, I recently created my profile on May 17, [redacted]. My username is lordpandabrain. After purchasing a six-month membership, I enjoyed about a week of conversations with other members. Unfortunately, on the eighth day, I was locked out of my account despite trying various methods to regain access. Following deleting and reinstalling the app, I expected my membership to be recognized, but I had to recreate my entire profile. Feeling discouraged, I decided to purchase a one-month membership instead. Upon entering my Apple ID, I was informed that my membership was valid until November 17, the original end date of my first purchase. I need assistance accessing my account. I created it last night and used it this morning, but suddenly couldn't respond to messages. When I checked my profile, it said it was hidden and my uploaded images were gone. I didn't hide my account, so I'm confused. Clicking to unhide it didn't work. I would like to request the cancellation of my subscription. According to consumer law, I should have a 14-day window to cancel my subscription. I only intended to pay for one month, not a full year. I was not aware that by using the subscription within the 14 days, I would waive my right to a refund. Unfortunately, the POF site logged me in immediately, not allowing me the chance to correct my error. This practice seems unfair and deceptive. I have been a loyal user of Apple products without issue for many years. The lack of assistance with this matter has been very disappointing. As a single mother, I prefer to hide my profile occasionally to manage the messages I receive, focusing on one connection at a time. However, the app freezes my messages, and I was unable to hide my account for a few days by Marcus' decision. I have two restraining orders against individuals I met on the platform, which complicates matters. If my concerns are not addressed, I will escalate the issue further as I value my integrity and the safety of myself and my child above all. My last authorized payment was in December [redacted]. I typically pay the $19.99 monthly fee manually and intentionally chose to do so. To my surprise, I discovered that Plenty of Fish has been deducting this amount since January [redacted] without my consent. In January, I was charged twice, with only one refund of $19.99 reflected in my account. I am requesting a refund for the remaining five unauthorized payments taken since then. I did not realize this until now due to personal reasons as I was grieving the loss of my fiance and not closely monitoring my bank statements. This unauthorized activity is illegal, and I demand my money back. I have only used the site occasionally to check on friends, not seeking a personal relationship due to the prevalence of scam issues. Had I known, I would have opted for a reduced-price six-month plan. I believe I have missed out on membership benefits I was entitled to. They owe me nearly $[redacted], and as a widowed individual on a limited income, this situation is unjust, especially since the site is advertised as free.

I have been away from POF for some time and have been unsuccessful in accessing my account. Today I spoke to two different individuals claiming to be from POF customer service. They informed me that my account had been hacked and requested that I purchase a Google Play prepaid card to verify my identity. One person mentioned a $15 fee while the other said there would be no charge to resolve the issue and regain access to my account. This experience has been frustrating, and I would appreciate some clarification on this situation. I seem to be having trouble receiving emails from POF since my account was allegedly compromised.

A few days ago, I attempted to join a video chat on Plenty of Fish. I provided my debit card details, but it was debited $55 without recognizing the promo code. Attempting again with my other bank account, the card was accepted, but I was redirected to a different website. Despite trying once more, my card was not accepted. Could you please refund the $55 to my CIBC account and address the video chat issue? I am thinking of canceling my subscription due to these challenges. Yesterday afternoon, I received multiple text messages with POF passcodes on my cell phone, even though I do not have an account on the site. To investigate, I went to my local library with Wi-Fi to discover that the codes were for that particular website. It seems like someone is using my phone number and possibly my Gmail or email to create an account. I suspect it might be individuals I encountered on other dating platforms who were likely scammers from Ghana, the U.S., or England. I cannot recall their profile names. I created my own account a little after 6pm central time. If there is an account associated with my cell number or email, it was not done by me. They may have used pictures, possibly even of me, as I have not uploaded any yet. I distanced myself from them because I refused to send them any money.

I received an offer for a free video chat link with a provided code. After following the instructions, money was deducted from my bank account without a valid reason. Subsequently, additional unauthorized charges were made. I have notified my bank and will press charges once I have all the necessary information. I have been attempting to resolve this issue for three days but have been experiencing difficulty navigating customer service. This situation feels like theft to me, with no resolution in sight. Despite these charges, I have yet to receive the promised video link. It's frustrating and absurd.

I have made multiple attempts to access POF with new usernames and passwords, but after completing my profile and adding pictures, I keep getting redirected to the login page within 10-15 minutes. When I try to log back in, it says my username or password is incorrect, even though I wrote them down carefully. Upon contacting POF customer service, they mentioned that my account was hacked from three different locations, but I found the representative to be rude.
