I signed up for a one-month membership, but your company has been billing me for two extra months. I have been trying to contact someone about this issue, but I have not received any response. I want a refund for the unauthorized charges of $39.96. I had agreed to a one-month membership for $19.99 only. I have already emailed about this in November after noticing the additional charges, but my account was not credited or resolved. I believe this to be a fraudulent practice. I had to cancel my credit card due to this situation, causing me distress. I expect a prompt response from your company. - Michael H.

I signed up for a one-month membership on POF for $19.99 with no indication that automatic charges would occur the next month. Despite not extending my membership or using the service, my card was charged. I tried to cancel via email but received no response. After noticing another charge in December, I reached out again for a refund with no reply. This practice is fraudulent, leading me to close my credit card account. I hope for a prompt response and refund from POF to resolve this issue. - M.H.

I recently encountered an issue logging into my Plenty of Fish account. Typically, I switch between my phone and laptop for access. Everything was fine until today when I was suddenly unable to log in, despite using the correct username and password. I attempted to recover my password via email but have not received any reset instructions. My username is DRG_10. Hello everyone, I'm encountering an issue with my POF account as I can't log in. My username is Eclectic1961Cajun and my email is [redacted] A few days ago, I attempted to upgrade but my debit card information was not accepted. I joined a few weeks back and have made important connections that I don't want to lose. Please assist me with this matter! I also have a suggestion. Is there a way to flag obviously fake accounts with professional model headshots and nonsensical usernames like hlakjdlajldk_mzuiay? I've received numerous messages with just "Na du" from users with such profiles, but I can't find an option to report these obvious fakes. POF is still great, and your support is appreciated. I would like to report an individual who has been in contact with me since November 22, [redacted]. They have been very affectionate and kind, which seems almost too good to be true. On December 7, [redacted], they claimed to have had a project in the Republic of Benin, Africa, and needed financial assistance due to a theft. While they've been persuasive, I became suspicious when they requested $[redacted] in cash. The person goes by the name Susan Wright on the profile "goodheartwithlotsoflove" on POF, and their contact number is 1-[redacted]. I have blocked their email and cut off communication. Should they reach out again, I will inform the appropriate authorities. They have limited information about me, and I believe this is a scam that needs investigation. Thank you. - Sharlene Wilson

I am inquiring about the nature of this site. I have noticed that the majority of women I interact with are interested in casual encounters involving payment, which I believe is illegal. Additionally, there are scam artists asking for money through various excuses like needing funds for phone bills, rent, or even personal items. This was unexpected as I thought this was a dating platform. After evaluating my conversations with 95 women, only a few are genuinely interested in dating, while many others are soliciting for prostitution or attempting to defraud money. I am considering leaving this site for another one and may report these activities to the authorities.

On my previous account, I connected with a girl and we both decided to keep our profiles private to avoid unwanted messages. Sadly, our interaction didn't progress, and now I've switched to a new phone only to discover my account has been inexplicably deleted. This isn't the first instance of this occurring. I created a new account with the same information and preferences, even investing time in crafting a detailed profile like before. However, whenever I briefly leave the app, my account vanishes yet again. This repetitive issue is incredibly frustrating and disheartening after all the effort and care I've put into the platform.

I want to emphasize that I am not a catfish, my photos are genuine, and my refusal to meet does not justify such claims. I am requesting the reactivation of my account as I believe this action was unjust and unfair. While I have reported scammers and dealt with inappropriate behavior before, this particular situation has left me feeling unfairly treated. Dear Sir/Madam, Today, my POF account was unexpectedly deleted, and I suspect it happened because a user reported me as a catfish. The reason was that I declined a man's persistent request to meet, explaining that I couldn't due to my daughter. I made it clear I was not interested in meeting despite asking questions. This led the man to accuse me of being a catfish, claiming he wasted enough time. It is unjust as I am genuine and my pictures accurately represent me. I kindly request the reactivation of my account as this treatment seems unfair. I have previously reported scammers and had to report a man for using inappropriate language towards me. I encountered issues logging in with my username and password and when attempting to reset it, I didn't receive the reset link in my spam or inbox. As an upgraded user on the platform, I'm concerned that having a high number of blocks could result in my account being deleted. I'm unsure if I will still be billed as an upgraded user under these circumstances. Interestingly, I managed to create another profile on POF using the same username and email. This leads me to believe that my original account might have been deleted without notification, as I could sign up again with the same details. I would appreciate clarity on the status of my original account, as I wish to avoid any charges related to my upgraded status. Thank you.

I've attempted to log in multiple times, but it appears my account has been deleted. I have carefully reviewed the terms and conditions and can confirm that I did not provide false information, I am not married, I have not uploaded fake photos, and I have not been disrespectful or impolite to anyone. Admittedly, I may have used the block feature excessively, mistakenly thinking it was the best way to control unwanted interactions on my profile (unaware it was not recommended). It's been more than 18 months since I've been single, and as a busy mother, it's challenging for me to socialize in person. I value the opportunity to connect with someone through an app at my convenience. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, a sincere woman genuinely interested in dating.

I am requesting a refund for my money as I cannot afford to pay any additional fees. I have attempted to contact you via phone for assistance, but encountered rudeness and was informed I would not receive a refund. An extra $4 was charged to verify my account, leaving me with nothing. I only seek a refund, cancellation of my subscription, and deletion of my account due to the disrespect I received from your employees. If the money is not refunded promptly, I will be forced to seek legal action and report this to the Better Business Bureau. You have my account details, please return the money without further delay or redirection to other sites. Simply process the refund back to the original account without any unnecessary delays or complications.

I used Plenty Of Fish for 6 weeks and encountered scams and requests for payment for sex. I am a woman seeking a female partner. Recently, I received a text on my phone after giving out my number, asking for money due to allegedly hitting on an underage person. I denied the accusation as I was seeking individuals in the 35-60 age range on an adult dating site. Feeling harassed and possibly catfished, I blocked the person and deleted my account. The experience was frightening, and I do not appreciate being threatened over something I did not do.

Hello, I have been a member of POF since June 19, [redacted]. Earlier, I identified a questionable user named Ritz427 as a Catfisher and reported the issue with evidence to the site. Today, when I noticed the same user had viewed my profile, I was unable to report it due to a prior commitment. However, upon returning home, I discovered my account had been deleted without explanation. As someone with experience in Computer Forensics, I am deeply concerned about this situation. I have stored evidence of the Catfisher in a Dropbox folder and previously reported them to POF. I have shared conversation alerts with multiple users as well. I joined this platform hoping to make new friends after years of being manipulated by my husband who has stolen my identity. Recently, I discovered that he had replied to a message from a guy pretending to be me. It was disturbing, and I believe my soon-to-be ex-husband is behind this. I am dealing with three cases of stolen identity simultaneously. I was hoping to connect with genuine people here while going through a tough time. Hello, I've been a member on and off for several years. I've enjoyed the site, had no issues, and always followed the policy. Recently, while messaging another member, I tried to send a picture of a cartoon character – a bear holding a heart. The site asked me to upload the picture, which I did. To my surprise, I have now been banned for life. I tried setting up a new account, but I'm unable to do so. I've never posted anything prohibited by POF, and I don't believe the innocent cartoon picture should lead to a ban. Perhaps it was misunderstood by the site's automated system. I have had positive experiences with the site and would like to continue using it. Being permanently banned seems overly harsh, especially since I didn't intentionally violate any rules. It continuously rejects my chosen username, stating it's already taken or incorrect. I've experimented with various options like "AymaneHTF," "Aymane_Hatafi," "aymane_hatafi81," and others to no avail. I've also tried alternatives like "musicismysoul" with no success. I kindly request your assistance with this matter. It's worth noting that I'm from Morocco. Interestingly, when I indicate that I'm from the United States, the website accepts the username but insists that my password is too easily guessed, despite using a combination of characters. Hello, based on my account status, I realized that I've been upgraded until mid-February. After not using my account for about a year and a half, I noticed some charges and I'm unsure if these are for the upgrade subscription. Additionally, when I send messages on POF, it shows as sent, but the messages don't appear in the chat thread, making communication difficult. If possible, I prefer to address these concerns over a phone call rather than email at 61 [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. Thank you.

I need assistance. I canceled my POF subscription over a month ago, yet I am still being charged on my credit card. I have raised a dispute with Chase bank for the $25.40 charge. Dealing with this issue has been very stressful for me. I want to stop these charges to avoid ongoing billing from POF. I require confirmation that my credit card details have been removed from your system. I dialed the [redacted] number a week ago and was informed the problem was resolved, but the charges persist. This situation has been frustrating, and I regret ever signing up for POF. I distinctly remember opting out of POF, but it appears my selection was altered. I have experienced being logged out [redacted] times. I have spent $25,[redacted] on the site, but I keep getting logged out every 5 minutes, despite having the correct email and password. This issue has been occurring since July of [redacted]. I am repeatedly bounced out and locked up every 5 minutes, which is frustrating. I am looking for answers as to why this keeps happening as I have not shown any interest in being logged out.
