I unfortunately experienced a scam by a POF member with the username X0900, who claimed to be Erick K. D'Antonio. On October 10, [redacted], I fell victim to this scam and lost $13,[redacted]. The individual convinced me to send the money to an account under the name of Mercedes Bellanoun to help him with fines in Turkey. As a retired individual, I sent him all my savings, keeping only $[redacted] in my account. Recently, he informed me that he was detained at the airport in Turkey for unpaid taxes and asked for more money. Feeling suspicious, I contacted someone named Hussein Tawfeq who requested $28,[redacted] for Erick's release. This is when I realized I had been deceived. I would like to prevent others from being scammed by this person. Any assistance in identifying him or blocking him from the site would be greatly appreciated. I am requesting a full refund. The lack of response to my inquiries and the restriction from communicating with a member I wish to meet is frustrating. Despite being an upgraded member, I am being prevented from messaging someone who has shown interest in meeting me. This contradicts the statement that "this member only wants mail from certain users." I did not pay for this service to be restricted in contacting potential matches. I demand a complete refund and the removal of my details from this platform. Failure to comply will result in reporting this matter to the relevant authorities.

I am experiencing difficulties accessing my account "ceasetheday2019" on the POF website. Despite attempting to reset my password, I have not received the reset email at my Yahoo email address: [redacted] When I try to log in, I receive an error message stating that the user password or email is invalid. I assure you that I have not violated any terms regarding language or inappropriate content on the site. I reported a fraudulent and abusive profile on POF. Initially, the profile displayed interest in meeting with a good-looking female. After exchanging messages, they directed me to use Kik, a platform I don't use, and provided a phone number. Following a text exchange, "she" sent inappropriate photos and messages which took a disturbing turn when I received explicit content from a male user revealing their true intent. Upon revisiting the profile, it had entirely changed its orientation. Distressed by the deceitful encounter, I submitted a complaint along with evidence of the initial profile details. Subsequently, my access to POF has been restricted.

I had a disappointing experience with your service. I was initially excited to try Plenty of Fish, a popular dating app. A female user I was chatting with offered to video chat, but when I couldn't find the option on the app, she sent me a link for a free chat service. Trusting the app, I followed the link, which requested my Plenty of Fish details and billing address. I had just signed up for POF premium, so I thought it was related and proceeded. To my surprise, I was charged $47.99 instead of the expected $39.99. Realizing something was wrong, I contacted my bank who suggested I reach out to you. After researching, I found out that POF doesn't offer video chat services, raising concerns about the redirection to a paid website. I feel scammed and frustrated, with this unexpected charge and misleading service. I urge you to address this issue promptly, as I believe this could potentially be fraudulent. Hello, I need help accessing my POF account. For the past three months, I have been unable to log in. Even though I am confident that my email and password are correct, the system says there is an error. I attempted to reset my password multiple times but did not receive any reset emails in my inbox. I am concerned that my account may have been hacked or deleted since I do not receive notifications for new messages in my email. I do not believe it was deleted as I have always used genuine pictures and maintained polite behavior. It seems like someone might have hacked into my account and changed the email and password. Can you investigate this situation? I am worried about someone else using my pictures online. Alternatively, if the issue is just a login error, could you please delete my account? I don't want my pictures visible on POF when I cannot access the account. This is crucial for work-related reasons.

I believe there is a need for better screening of individuals on this site. I have been a member for a few months, engaging in conversations but have encountered scams with the three men I interacted with. The first claimed to be a soldier and promptly requested a $[redacted] iTunes card (I blocked him). The second, also a soldier, defrauded me, and I have reported the incident to Western Union and the police. The third individual engaged me for about two weeks and today requested a $[redacted] iTunes card. I will not fall for this again. It is vital for the company to conduct thorough screenings to prevent numerous women from falling victim to scams. I am requesting assistance in deleting my profile from the site. I recently created an account on my phone about two weeks ago. Initially, everything went smoothly until I logged off. When I tried to log back in, it indicated that my password was incorrect, even though I use the same password for all my accounts. I attempted to reset the password multiple times by requesting an email, but I never received it. After several failed attempts, I gave up and created a new account thinking it might be an issue with my phone. However, the same problem persisted when I tried to log back in on my computer. Strangely, even before logging off, I noticed I had no notifications, which seems unusual as typically people would at least view my profile when a new account is created.

Hello, I recently signed up and upgraded my account. However, I wasn't aware that I needed to manually cancel the upgrade to avoid being charged when it expired. Despite rarely using the site and sending only a few messages, I was unexpectedly charged $51 this morning to renew the upgrade. I am having trouble accessing my account. Although I am entering the correct password, I do not receive any email when trying to reset it. I have checked my spam folder and have not received any notifications about new messages from other users on the site. This is frustrating as I was just getting to know someone I like, and now I am worried about losing contact with him. I have raised this issue numerous times without any response, which is disappointing. When I log into my account, I can see how many unread messages I have, but I am unable to open them. This same problem occurred before, and it was quickly resolved. I am frustrated that this is happening again frequently. I am unable to proceed further with my tasks. It would be greatly appreciated if my account could be fixed promptly so I can access my messages, search, and other features that I have paid for. I believe I should receive a few additional days added to my account due to the lack of service I have experienced.

I am frustrated with the process. I followed the instructions but was told by the technician that I would need to pay to resolve the issue on the POF site. This problem, which has occurred before, should not require me to pay since it is related to your site. I have faced issues with accessing messages and search functions in the past, and I need these resolved again. It is frustrating to be asked repeatedly about the problem and how to fix it when it has been resolved promptly in the past without any complications. I am unable to open messages, search, or use the features I have paid for. I am very unhappy with the poor service and may consider reporting this.

My username on Plenty of Fish is KnightTemplar69. Recently, I believe my account has been compromised by a hacker or a scam artist. I still have access to my account, but I am constantly seeing profiles in the scroll bars from different states, countries, and even fake profiles with fake pictures. I also keep receiving notifications from these fake profiles under the Meet Me feature, despite having turned off all options for Meet Me in the settings. I would appreciate it if the necessary steps could be taken to remove this hacker/scam artist from my account on Plenty of Fish and set my location so I only receive profiles from my local area. Hello, I am requesting a refund for the recent three-month membership renewal charge deducted by my bank. I was not aware that my membership would be automatically renewed, and I have been unable to locate where to cancel the renewal. I have found a special someone and no longer wish to continue my membership. Additionally, I received an email from POF informing me that my debit card was not on file due to my card being lost last month. Although I obtained a new card, I did not update my information on POF as I intended to let my membership expire. However, charges have been made to my iTunes account without my consent. Subsequently, I faced difficulty in receiving the email to reset my password despite sending multiple requests. This led to challenges in logging in. Unlike my previous membership in [redacted], I did not engage in any behaviors that violate the terms of service of the platform. I believe in upholding respectful and dignified interactions online. Hello, I have been in contact with a person named Elias Dabrowski. We have been exchanging phone numbers for over a month. His phone number is [redacted]. He seemed pleasant until he suddenly asked me to add him to my phone plan and requested a verification code. Then he insisted on me opening a USAA bank account, which I refused. When I declined, he mentioned finding someone else, revealing he might be a hacker. I have given him a verification code, and now I am concerned he might be using my information.
