I recently opened an account on the platform. However, I closed it after an issue arose with a person I met through the service. When I tried to open a new account with a different username but the same email, I encountered login issues. Despite several attempts, I was unable to log in as I didn't receive the password reset emails. Subsequently, I created another account, but the same problem occurred. Even after trying the reset password option, I never received the necessary emails. Despite setting up a new account, I have once again been locked out, and the system claims my username and password are incorrect. I have messages waiting, but I can't access them. My account name is wiscogirl4791, and I'm unable to resolve the login issues.

I am facing a serious issue as I suspect my son, Andrew Brown, has accessed my account without permission. He has changed my password, and I keep receiving notifications from POF. This is not the first time this has happened. I urgently need assistance in regaining control of my account, which I've had for years. I want to monitor his activity and hopefully communicate with him to resolve this situation. Please help me catch him and rectify this misuse. Thank you, Vicki T. (RubyGirl63). My email addresses affected are groovygurl01@gmail and Yahoo.com. My phone number is [redacted].

At 3:39 am today, I received an email from POF stating that at 3:38 am, my email address was changed without my authorization. My username was Thunderstruck001, and I believe I was an upgraded member. I want my account terminated immediately, any potential fraudulent charges canceled, and confirmation provided. My email associated with POF was [redacted] Please contact me at that email or [redacted]. I also request my profile be removed from POF, and my pictures taken down. This violation of my privacy is unacceptable. I await your prompt response. Thank you. Best, B. G.

I've had an account for over five years with no issues, but for the third time in about a month, I'm unable to access it. Each time this happens, I have to create a new account and lose all my messages. My current login is antb1204, all tied to [redacted] Even though I have the details saved on my phone and written down, when I minimize the screen and return, it claims my username or password is incorrect. I prefer this site over others, but can't seem to sort out what's causing this problem. Due to creating new accounts, I'm unsure how many messages I've missed as they might be spread across different accounts. I'd appreciate any assistance, as clicking the "forgot password" button doesn't even send a reset link. Thank you.

I have been trying to reach your customer service phone number without success and urgently need to get in touch with you. I recently encountered a person on POF who identified himself as Sullivan, Michael Christopher, a Military Captain stationed in Iraq. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a scammer. He defrauded me of $[redacted] by claiming the UN would grant him emergency leave for our supposed marriage. Following suspicions, I contacted the United Nations Military Headquarters in New York, who confirmed that everything he claimed was fake. He now demands an additional $[redacted] for his return flight. I have informed the authorities and also exited POF. Please take action to prevent him from scamming others. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I encountered an issue with my POF account where I was logged out and unable to log back in due to a perceived invalid user ID and password. Despite clearing my cache and trying different devices, the problem persists. I attempted to reset my password but did not receive the reset email. I have checked my spam and junk folders diligently. I'm reaching out for assistance as I don't want to lose my profile data. My POF username is SFZ and my email is [redacted] Any help resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have already submitted a request to cancel my subscription and receive a refund urgently. I was unaware that downloading the app would incur a one-time charge of £82.99. I mistakenly believed it was a monthly subscription. I need the full amount refunded promptly as I am currently facing financial hardship due to this unexpected charge. After opening the app yesterday and seeing the invoice from Apple, I checked my bank account and was shocked by the deduction. I am unsure if my request has been received or when I can expect a response. I urgently need assistance on this matter. Resolution: I require a refund from POF for the one-year subscription that I mistakenly purchased. This was chosen as the more economical option over monthly payments. I am anxious for a quick resolution to this issue. Thank you. -Kelly

I need assistance with obtaining a refund. My experience has been awful as I was not aware that I had to pay for the full year upfront upon downloading the app. This situation has put me in a difficult position, and it is urgent that I receive a refund as soon as possible. I am extremely distressed by this experience and need help resolving it promptly. My account was created yesterday with the username Malcolk and email [redacted]

Hello, I'm Patricia Howard from Warren, Ohio. I wanted to share my experience regarding a possible lottery scam from POF. A few nights back, around 1:00 a.m., I received a message supposedly from POF congratulating me on winning their lottery, which offered $85,[redacted]. Initially, I was thrilled, but as they requested personal banking information the next day via text, I grew suspicious and refrained from providing any details. To my surprise, the messages requesting sensitive data were deleted, while the legitimate POF symbol from Markus remained. This made me realize it was likely a scam, as POF doesn't seem to run such lotteries. I wanted to caution others about this. Thank you for reading. If you need more information, feel free to reach out by phone at [redacted] or via email at patty [redacted] Thank you!

I recently received a message from the POF site notifying me that my email address was changed. Unfortunately, I only saw the message this morning and now I cannot access my account because the email login has been altered. I am a female user seeking single men, but I am receiving notifications for women now, which is concerning. I had just updated my photos and was considering a membership, but now I am worried about the security of my account. I want to address this issue promptly. I want to clarify that due to battling bone cancer and losing my left eye, I am unsure why someone would target my profile and photos. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide regarding this matter. My username is Msulady18, and my long-standing email is [redacted] Thank you for your help. Kristie Bennett.

I recently received a message from POF administration claiming I won $85,[redacted] after being selected out of 2,[redacted] people. Although they requested my banking information, I declined. I provided personal details like my name, address, email, birthday, and cell number but not my banking details. After informing them I would empty my checking account for the deposit, they insisted I pay $[redacted] for NY State tax. I contacted POF and spoke with individuals with Indian accents who claimed the grant was legitimate. However, after speaking with Abbie from POF prize control, she confirmed it was a scam. I canceled my debit card and reported the incident to the bank. Abbie requested my online banking information, but I refused. I plan to open an FBI investigation with the FCC regarding these scams. I believe POF should address these issues promptly to prevent further incidents.

I encountered an issue on my android device where the app logged me out unexpectedly. Upon trying to log back in, I was notified that my username or password was incorrect, even though they were correct. After multiple failed attempts, a prompt appeared to reset my password. I followed the steps, but no email was received in the associated mailbox. This problem occurred with three different accounts: TalavouMaren, [redacted], and talavoucali@aol. I hope to receive assistance with this matter.

I encountered issues with my old account, so I created a new one and upgraded to a one-year subscription. However, when using anything other than the phone app, Plenty of Fish (PoF) kept logging me into the wrong account. After purchasing the upgrade for my new account, I mistakenly logged into my old account to delete it. Unfortunately, PoF deleted my new upgraded account instead of the old one. Now, I am left with the malfunctioning old account and have only used the upgraded features for one week because of a PoF glitch. I am seeking a refund of $71.99 for the subscription or would appreciate if PoF could transfer the one-year subscription to my new account, which I recreated without the upgrade.

I have had no issues with POF until this past Tuesday. I couldn't log in due to a password error. I tried to reset it, but never received the reset link via email. After extensive online searching, I finally reached a representative who mentioned a security concern. Despite my discomfort, he persistently asked about my banking information. After disclosing details about my credit union, he assured me my account would be unlocked within 24 hours. It's been over a day, and I still cannot access my account even though I have only used the site for one week post-payment. Kindly unlock my account or refund my payment.

In early September, I began chatting with a man from Ascot on POF. After weeks of communication through texts and calls, he informed me that his 9-year-old daughter had an accident on vacation in America and started pressuring me for money for medical expenses. When I didn't send any, he became verbally abusive. I recently checked his profile on POF and noticed that he now claims to have an 8-year-old daughter and resides in Huddersfield. I have kept messages, including one detailing a bank account in the USA where he wanted money sent. It's crucial to alert others about this individual, known on POF as George18657, to prevent him from deceiving more women into giving him money. I have numerous saved messages as evidence. Let's make sure everyone is aware of his true intentions.

I go by the username Petunia934. I noticed a problem with my account between 4:50 a.m. and 9 a.m. today. I can no longer access it and have approximately 50 unread messages. I had recently hidden my profile temporarily, so I am unsure of its current status. It seems like my email address has been altered as well because the reset is not functioning. I recently upgraded my account and need urgent assistance to regain access. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Brandon Rich. I have been a member of pof for a couple of months now. I haven't upgraded my account and only purchase tokens when they are discounted. Recently, I accidentally bought 10 tokens at $1.69 each, thinking I was only buying one. It was a genuine mistake, and I used one token before realizing the error. I would appreciate it if I could be refunded for the remaining tokens, minus the one I used. I hope you understand the situation. I love the app and would like to resolve this issue. Please respond promptly as I cannot afford the 10 tokens. Thank you for your assistance. If you require any further details, please contact me via email. Thank you for your understanding. While attempting to send a message to a user, an error occurred which prompted a log out. I tried to log back in and received a notification that my username or password was incorrect. I followed the steps to reset the password but did not receive the email for resetting after multiple tries. To address the issue, I decided to create a new profile, but it has not been as active as my original one, where I used to receive messages and interests from others daily. I would like to regain access to my original account to resume conversations with the individuals I was chatting with.

Hello, I recently deleted my POF account a few weeks ago. I have since created a new account with the same profile name, Pocketrocket1. However, when I tried to log in over the weekend, it said my password was incorrect. After waiting 24 hours, I was able to log in again. I have noticed that I am not receiving any views or messages, which is unusual for me as I am typically popular on the platform. It seems like I am invisible on POF. Thank you, Tracie.

I recently joined POF and had an unfortunate encounter with a man claiming to be named George Harry. He quickly moved our conversation off the site and into texting, becoming overly loving and pushing for us to be together despite never actually speaking on the phone. His supposed background as an Exxon/Oil Rigging contractor raised red flags, especially when I couldn't find any information online to verify his identity. I noticed a pattern of scammers on Exxon Oil rigging sites preying on vulnerable women for money using fake profiles and elaborate stories. When I confronted him and he abruptly stopped communicating, I knew something was wrong. It's important for platforms like POF to raise awareness about these types of scams and make efforts to protect users from such heartless individuals, especially those from certain regions who exploit romantic interests for financial gain. Trust has become a rare commodity in online dating, and steps should be taken to address these deceitful practices.
