I recently spoke with a woman on POF using the username DC Mopar from Westminster, Colorado. After a few days of talking, she started acting irrationally and I had to block her number. She mentioned being deleted by POF from her original account, then created new ones to contact me and became rude. I blocked her on each new account, but she persists in creating more. I am worried she might escalate. Can anything be done to assist me?

Hello, I have used POF on and off for several years with some success. I am writing to address the restriction on age when it comes to messaging other users on the site. I prefer to date younger women, and I have had to falsify my age to reach out to them. POF prevents messages from being delivered if there is a 14-year age gap, and restricts 18-year-olds from messaging those over 25. I believe this limitation is unnecessary. In the past, I had a 7-month relationship that started with me lying about my age (58 to 23). However, some members have reported me for this, resulting in a ban from the site. I find this unfair. I urge POF to reconsider these policies and lift my restrictions. My alternate profiles have always been respectful, honest about my intentions, and I give the women I message the choice to ignore me. I believe in the freedom of individuals to make their choices in dating and think POF's approach is outdated and discriminatory. The site should focus more on preventing spam and inappropriate content rather than policing users' age preferences. I hope to receive a response, although I have my doubts. Hello. I am Bryan Herbert. I contacted your service team via email two weeks ago but did not receive a response. I created a POF account and purchased an upgraded subscription for $38.40. I was very unsatisfied with the service. The website seemed to have numerous fake profiles with scams, inappropriate content, and spam. Filtering through these profiles to find genuine ones was a challenging and unpleasant experience. The images on the site were disturbing. Charging customers for this kind of service is unreasonable. I requested a cancellation and a full refund as I did not agree to the terms and conditions during account setup. I used the account name terps4life2018. It is disappointing that there was no adequate support system to address these issues on the dating site. I expect a refund promptly, or I will pursue a dispute with my credit card company. I encountered issues logging into my POF account. Despite multiple password reset attempts, I did not receive any renewal emails. Concerned about the status of my pictures, I created a new account, which also became disabled. With each attempt to reset the password using different emails, I faced the same issue. I am not worried about using POF but rather ensuring my pictures are not uploaded to fake accounts. The lack of customer service has made this situation stressful and hard to resolve.

I am unable to access my POF account. I used to be able to log in, but I forgot my password. Despite requesting a password reset email over six times, I never received the link to create a new password. In frustration, I tried to register as a new member, answering all the questions in detail. However, after successfully creating a new user ID and password, I still encountered the same error message when attempting to log in: "invalid email or password." Now I am stuck with two POF accounts and unable to access either one. It is frustrating to receive messages in my inbox that I cannot check. Please assist me in resolving this issue promptly. After setting up my Plenty of Fish account, I later found that I couldn't access it even with the correct password. Despite multiple attempts, the platform wouldn't accept my login. I even tried resetting the password but haven't received any reset link. I have the verification email handy if needed. It's frustrating as I know all my information is correct, yet I can't seem to log in. Could someone assist me with this issue?

Yesterday, I signed up for an account and devoted hours to creating it. After a night of going through messages and notifications, I fell asleep. Upon waking up and trying to log in this morning, the app indicated my email or password was incorrect. I am certain this is not the case as I use the same email and password for everything. I have attempted to reset my password multiple times, but have not received any emails, even after checking the junk folder. I continue to receive notifications from other sources and POF emails. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting my phone, but still cannot access my account. If I have violated any rules or been banned, I would like confirmation that my account is no longer visible. If I cannot regain access, I request that my personal information and photos be removed for privacy reasons.

Hello, My username is purpleshepherd. I remember my password and security question. However, about an hour ago, I was switching between the Edit Profile and My Profile sections to make adjustments. I noticed that there is an exclamation mark behind the Edit Profile tab. Can you please explain why? Another issue is that I keep receiving emails from you about new content, but when I check, it's all the same familiar faces. Furthermore, the pictures you are sending me are of men aged 40-60 when I specified an interest in 65-80-year-olds. Why is this happening?

My account was deleted, and when I tried to create a new one, it was deleted again. I noticed the terms mention that having too many blocked users or being rude can lead to a ban. I had to block many users due to receiving numerous unwanted messages repeatedly. Even after not responding, some users continued to message me, which I considered harassment. When I asked them to stop and explained I wasn't interested, they were rude, so I blocked them. How is it fair for them to keep bothering me? As a single mom with limited time to meet people, this website was important to me. I am disappointed in how my situation was handled since no one asked why I blocked those users. I also received racist messages and inappropriate requests for photos. I have evidence in screenshots. Please consider unblocking me so I can continue using the website to find a meaningful connection.

I signed up and received an email confirming my registration. However, when I tried logging in, it repeatedly indicated my username or password was incorrect. After trying the forgot password option multiple times without receiving any reset emails, I decided to create a new account. Unfortunately, the login issue persisted. I want to report a user named James Woodall (Jamie) from Paducah, Kentucky, who is misusing the platform to take advantage of women. Despite me having a restraining order against him and reporting him twice, he is still active on the site. I have even filed a police report regarding this matter. His profile is fake, and he manipulates women to support him, creating a pattern of behavior with multiple charges in Illinois, Kentucky, and Minnesota. I am confused why actions have not been taken against him. I hope this time my message is heard. Thank you.

I would like to report an incident where an individual left me stranded a half hour from my home for no reason. Subsequently, another individual, upset that I didn't spend time with him, messaged me and I shared what happened. He arrived shortly after, we chatted briefly, and as I reached for the door to leave, he left me stranded as well. I would not have reported this, but shortly after, I lost the ability to send messages. I urge you to investigate this promptly as I am relocating to another state and have arranged to meet friends. This situation is unacceptable.

Two days ago, I attempted to log into my account as PlatinumBarbi, but received an error message stating that my username or password was incorrect. This issue has occurred before, leading me to open this new account when I couldn't access my previous one as "Twogood2btrue." Despite my attempts to reset the password, I did not receive an email with a link to do so. I am certain that I am entering the correct login credentials. I encountered issues accessing my POF account where I noticed unauthorized changes in my profile on 9-24. Upon contacting POF customer service on 9-29 via the provided [redacted] number, I was informed about a hacking incident from someone in CA impersonating me. They requested access to my computer for security purposes, claiming a security fee was needed and asking for my credit card information. Unfortunately, I fell for it as I believed it was the official POF platform. Now, I am taking steps to secure my finances by canceling my credit cards and bank accounts. It seems that my data might have been compromised. Beware of a fraudulent POF website and the scammers involved. The fake POF customer service number I called was [redacted]. I've been experiencing a concerning issue where my account has been hacked into by someone who seems to have racial motivations. As an African American man, I have encountered difficulties on the Plenty of Fish dating site when some white women take issue with my profile of my late Caucasian wife who passed away four years ago. This has led to my account being frequently hacked, making it hard for me to log back in. Despite trying to reset my password following the instructions provided by Plenty of Fish at www.pof.com/getpasswordreset.aspx, I keep receiving messages telling me that my username or password is incorrect or that the page is unavailable.

Subject: Account Security Issue Hello, I am unable to access my account as someone has hacked into it and changed the associated email address. This has made it impossible for me to reset the password, as I require access to the original email. Recently, I encountered a support page for POF where an individual claiming to be from India offered to assist me. However, their actions seemed suspicious, prompting me to stop the interaction. I was contacted by a woman on Sunday, September 30th around 8:30 p.m. via Plenty of Fish. We chatted on the platform before she shared her phone number, asking to continue the conversation through texts. After chatting for about an hour, her father contacted me, claiming she's a 15-year-old minor. I explained the situation, but when I returned to Plenty of Fish, the conversation was gone. I would greatly appreciate any help in retrieving those messages as evidence. As an adult wrongly accused of inappropriate behavior, this is important. The father is demanding $[redacted], which I suspect is a scam. I've sought advice from the Sheriff's Department, who suggested trying to recover the conversation from Plenty of Fish if possible.

I'm having trouble logging into my account. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unsuccessful. I suspect that someone may have accessed or hacked my account, changing my password. I have tried reaching out to POF's feedback without any response. This lack of assistance is concerning, as it seems my security issue is being ignored. I urgently need assistance either resetting my password or closing my account for security reasons. There is personal information and interactions with many women on my account, and I do not want them to be misled if someone else has taken over my profile. This situation is unfair both to the women I have communicated with and to me.

Hello, I believe my account has been compromised or closed without my knowledge. Yesterday, when I tried to log in, my password wasn't accepted, and I was locked out. To make matters worse, I couldn't use my linked Gmail account to regain access as I was also locked out of that email account. Additionally, I received strange error messages on my computer and Android devices warning about a possible attacker attempting to access my personal information. If these issues are connected, I request that you monitor for any suspicious activity under my name. I would like to set up a new account with a different email address for security purposes. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations you can provide in this troubling situation. I have encountered several scammers, and one of them went by the name Marco Dean, who has since disappeared from my profile. His email is [redacted] There is another individual, present under my profile, still active, with the names Renovator99 or Bon Mike. Although he didn't ask for money, he contacted me by mistake and seemed nervous when I spoke to him. There are two more potential scammers that I haven't interacted with yet. I suspect one of them may have multiple profiles with different names but the same pictures. I had another profile in my matches that also vanished. I will update you once I have more information. Kindly ensure these scammers are removed to prevent any financial harm.
