Hello POF Customer Service, *I’ve been a POF free Member for many years. Just today, I got acquainted with a few new people yesterday and we were corresponding rather steadily chatting back and forth. Then it seems that when they sent me a message back, the message did not appear like it used to immediately appear. Instead, my last correspondence is sitting there as it had been sent and of course received by the other person. **But it is their response to me that highlights the issue. Their Response DOES NOT APPEAR FOR ME TO READ WHEN I CLICK ON IT. What does appear is a banner that states to: “Update Now” if I want to know if she read my message. In essence, it seems as if POF is FORCING ME TO EITHER PAY A FEE TO JOIN AS A PAID MEMBER OR ELSE, I won’t be able to read their reply to me! Is what I’m describing to you an intentional tactic to squeeze money from those that can least afford to pay for being on POF? **Please look into this immediately as it’s very upsetting to be caught off guard and “FORCED TO PAY” just to do the basic correspondence.
